What is wlsetup - custom.exe?

I'm having a problem. As most of the time, I find that this installer wlsetup - custom.exe appears whenever I run my Messenger. The computer automatically attempts to download this program without my consent.

So, what can I do to stop this form going to go now? Please suggest me to your first.

Yours sincerely,

Rajesh Chaudhary

Hello

wlsetup - custom.exe is updated to Windows Live Messenger.

Create a Restore Point and then install and you should be ok - if suspicious the test with
your anti-virus protection.

  • What happened to customer support?

It seems that Apple has forgotten customers along the way.  I have been struggling with my iPhone for about 6 months... and it does not work.  I spoke with not less than 10 "Senior" advisors to solve problems and each of them said 'ILS' would be the one to solve it.  6 months and I have not heard a thing from ANY of them.  The reason for which I had no less than 10 is because I have to keep the call to know why I have not been contacted, and if nothing is done yet.  I get a new rep who takes responsibility... and we start again.  A rep sent me a free, external $ 250 HDD for my troubles.  He's very nice, but my phone still does not work.  I believe that the last time I called on this issue has been more than a month.  I gave up and I use workarounds with my phone.  In the process, I lost all my texts.  This may not seem like a huge loss... but for me, I had the very first text I've ever sent since the first iPhone.

Now, today I just got got off the phone with a "man" who tells me that a refund can take up to 30 days!  He also informed me that he could not talk to my bank on the issue of letting them know that there is a billing error.  I was charged $380 when it should have been $378.  For this reason, I was charged for $380 but they refund $378, which does not correspond to my Bank... and they cannot fix.  Add to that the brevity of the agent and apparently no empathy for the situation.  At some point, I stopped for about 15 seconds because he kept talking about me.

I used really really praising Apple's Support.  I really felt it was the best support on the planet, but it is really falling short nowaday.

I feel rejected in both of these situations and must change.

I'm sitting here today without my money... and the Apple support showed me how much they care about that!

I don't even know if it's the ideal shape to complain.

It is not. This is a technical support to the user forum, so we have nothing to do with Apple Customer Support. We work with others to solve problems. Since you're here, why not share with us what is your problem. You never know if someone here has run on it at one time or another.

If you click on the link contact us at the bottom right of this page, you will see all means at your disposal to contact Apple about your customer complaint.

  • Pavilion P6203w: What exactly is activehealth.exe?

Is someone can you please tell me what activehealth.exe is? all I was able to determine is that"ActiveHealth.exe is known as HP active health and it is developed by Hewlett-Packard .  Once I started my system, the disk access light will appear and stay balanced. When I go to the performance monitor, I see that activehealth.exe made a huge amount of e/s. This continues until the PC freezes and requires a reboot. When I run in safe mode, this does not happen. I also noticed that in safe mode, Activehealth.exe does not work. What is that program that could cause the e/s?

    Royearle, welcome to the forum.

The active Health.exe HP monitors your computer to ensure that they are running correctly.  I think that the way to solve your problem is to install the latest version of HP Support Assistant here.  You choose the version appropriate for your computer.

  • I got a new process and I don't know what it is: bprotect.exe

    original title: bprotect.exe?

Should I be worried?  My computer suffered a power failure, and since then turn it back on, I had problems getting Yahoo Messenger to work, even after uninstalling and reinstalling it.  That's when I noticed a little bit of this process running in Task Manager.  I never saw this, and when I finish it, she starts just to the top again.  TDSKiller has not detected any problem.  I am running a Norton scan, but I'm always worried.  If anyone has any information on what it is and how to remove it, please answer quickly.

    Hello.

Scan your computer for malware with Malwarebytes.

  • What is MCSACORE. EXE?

    Good evening

About 20:21 tonight, I got an alert from my Outpost Firewall System Guard indicating that he blocked MCSACORE. EXE to make some sort of change.  Under the heading of the column 'Group' of the log entry record, it read, "dangerous activity".

I've never had any entries appear in the log system guard all the time I had Outpost Firewall Pro installed on my computer.

    The questions I have are:

    1. what exactly is MCSACORE. EXE?

2 what is the significance of the 'hazardous activity' in the column 'Group' going?

3 is a worrisome security problem, and what, if anything, can I do about it?

System information: Dell Dimension 3000 desktop computer; Win XP Pro 32-bit. 512 MB OF RAM; Avast! (free - latest version); MBAM Pro; Outpost Firewall Pro (latest version); SpywareBlaster; SAS (on-demand scanner).

I thank you for your time and any enlightenment!

  • What's doing cidaemon.exe and why should I use 1200% CPU?

When the Mnager task at hand this race, my PC slows down significantly I am running AVG (and SP3.

It is part of the Microsoft Indexing Service.

Here are some words of copy/paste to this topic:

This process builds and updates the catalog index and generally used a lot of time processor. However, cidaemon .exe is also set to run at a low priority, so it is not usually degrade the performance of the system, even if it's a high level of CPU.

It is true that t is running in a "Below normal" priority, seen in the Task Manager, but because most of the people seem to want their systems to run faster, I'll usually turn off in the Services Applet and think of it as a background running boring useless (one of many) service.

  • What is CSRSS. EXE - 08A6322A.pf? It is located in "C:\WINDOWS/Prefetch"__I tried to open it, but Windows is not a program that can be read. It is supposed to be there, or is it something that Can / should I get rid?

    Please answer quickly...

Please see my response to your other post in the networking forum. CSRSS.exe if located in the Windows/System 32 program is a Windows core system file. If it is elsewhere (not to mention the Prefetch - see below for that) it's a Trojan horse. By my suggestions to you in the other forum, you should always make sure that your computer is free from virus/malware when troubleshooting so that you know that you are working from a clean base.

    http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Removing_Malware

The file you mention in your question is a Prefetch file. Here is an explanation of what is Prefetch:

The files in the Prefetch folder are files of data associated with the speed improvement to the what applications start. Windows XP monitors files that are used when the computer starts and when you start applications. By monitoring these files, Windows XP can preload the. Data preloading is the process by which the data that should be requested are read-ahead in the cache. Preloading of applications and startup files decreases the time required to start Windows XP and launch applications. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!
