• Retrieving of e-mails from Microsoft Outlook after re-configuration settings...

  Over the last few days, I have been receving a pop-up that has been telling me to update and / or renew my anti-virus software.

  Recreate your mail profile using the mail applet in the control panel.  Use the Add button under the data files tab.  Who should open the location where to find your data files back and you should be able to get all your mail, contacts, calendar and other backs of Outlook data, just as it was.  Use the e-mail tab to recreate your accounts and point to the appropriate data file, that you just added.  Choose the option re-use an existing file data when you create the account.
