  • What operating system to use for Exchange 2010?

I'm currently in the planning/design phase of implementation of our new Exchange 2010 server.  Our current environment using Exchange 2003 on Windows Server 2003.

Exchange 2010 is 64-bit, I want to install Windows Server 2008 R2 64-bit, but my question is... do I install Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard or Enterprise?... What is the main difference between the 2 platforms, OS should I consider before decide me which one to go with?

I searched online for a while and can't seem to find a definitive answer to this question, or at least a logical explanation that would allow me to determine which is best for what I want.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

The main difference between the medium Standard and Enterprise's clustering and memory. It was a big difference in Windows 2003, if you need more than 4 GB of memory. With Windows 2008 x 64 I think 16 GB of memory allows to use this grouping is the $ 64 question. You do cluster CCR or SCR with Exchange 2010?

  • What operating system is used on the readynas RN10200?

I need to know what is the operating system of the system, and how I can access! I think it is probably Linux and am ready to install on a laptop so that I could access the readynas's Chitlins. I am totally not familiar with SSH and do not know how to use it. But what I've read, it would be a way to access. Someone let me know what are the procedures I need to follow to access the system.

BTRFS is the file system, not the operating system.

In regards to the operating system, ReadyNAS OS 6, it is based on Debian Wheezy. Yes, we use Linux.

You can use PuTTY (SSH/telnet client free) on Windows or Terminal on Mac/Linux SSH in to the ReadyNAS. SSH is a service that you can activate under system > settings > Services. As IX has mentioned you can do a lot of damage if you don't know what you're doing, then you must think carefully if you really want to use it.

There is an OS 6 VM available ReadyNAS, you can experiment on: http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=70699

Note that the virtual machine is x86_64 while your 102's ARM so some things will be different, but if you break things to do something in a virtual machine, then you will know not to do on your 102.

Everything you have to do is your film simply drag the icon of the sequence and it will create a new sequence for you with all the correct settings.

Alternatively, you can start editing your video right there on your phone with Clip first from Adobe app, and you can open this project inside Premiere Pro when you return to your desk.

Pass Vista (requires a minimum of 2 GB of RAM) and install Windows 7 (just 1 GB of memory for the 32-bit version).  If you buy the "Full" version (not the upgrade version) from Windows 7, you can Dual Boot between XP and Windows 7 (not all XP software will be running in Windows 7 and dual-boot will allow you to continue to use any software that you place a high value on the). You must first check if your Windows XP-based computer supports Windows 7  Go the the computer manufacturing technical support web site and see if they list Windows 7 device drivers. No driver Windows 7 means that you can not (the most often install Windows 7, if this isn't the case find Vista drivers).

Is VoIP a kind of internet connection what operating system using VoIP?

VoIP means "Voice Over Internet Protocol". Have a read of this - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voice_over_IP for a little more in detail.

Any OS with a proper application should be able to use it. Skype is a typical example, there are others.

  • disk space issues: How can I find out which components of the operating system I use is more to free additional disk space?

HI: I have problems with disk space; I went to Windows Help and read that if I go into Add/Remove programs who said I could remove programs or components of operating system I no longer use. I remove some programs that I don't use anymore, but I do not know what operating system components I should delete!  Little help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Before you remove the services I would remove all but the most recent backup and restore point.  Then make a disk for temporary files Cleanup Wizard.  You can make you smaller file page, if you do not use put into hibernation, you can save 4-8 space gigis.

    Hello

This may depend on your condition. If the computer on which you want to install the new operating system is for typical home use, then you may want to buy Windows 7 rather than Windows Server 2008.

Also, please take a look at the underside of the articles that might help you to choose the operating system.

  • Can we synchronize permission selected with the settings of operating system Notifications BB10 for our Application.

    Steps to follow:
    BB10 device--> settings--> Notifications--> Applications--> [name of your application]--> all alerts [Toggle button]

I have an obligation to check whether or not 'All alerts' is allowed through settings when the application is running. To check if we can synchronize permission selected with the settings of operating system Notifications BB10 for my application. How to get javascript code if alerts permission is on / off, while the application is running.

I tried adding the blackberry.system function and tried to hasPermission (blackberry.push) also, I can't determine if permission is allow / prohibit... Please suggest how to get that.

I don't see a WebWorks API for this. If I expected to be anywhere, it's here:
    https://developer.BlackBerry.com/HTML5/APIs/beta/BlackBerry.notification.html#jbo1385148829097

But it seems that this API has not been fully implemented; It may be useful to connect a developer Issue Tracker JIRA to get this feature added.

At the same time, there is this API of Cascades that looks like what you're looking for:
    https://developer.BlackBerry.com/native/reference/Cascades/bb__platform__notificationapplicationsett...

Write an extension for this feature should allow you to access this feature:
    https://github.com/BlackBerry/WebWorks-community-APIs/tree/master/BB10-Cordova/template

At the same time, a colleague is currently working on an extension that should open many features of Qt, and I think that the API above should be accessible through this extension. He must be released over the next week or two, so you can wait for that as well.

EDIT: On this last point, see this extension which provides a mechanism for attaching in the majority of the Qt APIs.

You always check the Web site of the manufacturer of the motherboard for the compatibility of the operating system and drivers.

    Hi R0w1% 40nd,

Adobe Photoshop CS v.8 and Lightroom 2 v.2.4. are very old software and the operating system you are using is the most recent, so there may be compatibility issues that adobe has not tested these applications on newer operating systems.

The installer for Adobe Photoshop CS v.8 and Lightroom 2 v.2.4. are no longer available.

  • Install R12 on PowerEdge R200. On what operating system?

    < p >
    Hello community,

We recently have a PowerEdge R200 Server single processor Intel Dual-Core < sup > & reg; < / sup > Xbox < sup > & reg; Negative > series E3100 @ 3 .00GHz, with 4 GB memory and 500 GB of hard drive. The system offers the possibility to choose the operating system to install.

    The available operating systems are:

Red Hat Enterprise Linux (Version 4, Update 5) x86_64.

Red Hat Enterprise Linux (Version 5 Update 2) x86_64.

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 9 Service Pack 4 x86_64.

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 Service Pack 2 x 86-64.

My question is: in your experience, what operating system is more suitable in order to install version 12 on this subject.

    Thanks in advance.

    < /p >

I was installing on a Linux 32-bit operating system when I created the doc. You can start with 12.0.4 for Linux x 86-64, but keep in mind that you want more memory on the server to take advantage of the possibilities of 64-bit memory allocation. Your CMS database will not be limited to 1.7 or 2.5 GB, and you won't have to waste his time with the base RAID card ETC.

Memory is cheap. Add another 4 or 12 GB of RAM for this box if you want acceptable performance, unless you expect only to have a few simultaneous users.
