I have a few white papers white, and I don't know how to find out what programs open them. HELP please.

    Hello

Right click on those and properties - what is extension, the XXX of the filename.xxx?

Whatever program you have is more associated with those or maybe you have uninstalled the
    programs.

Set your main program associations, and then you can change any particular file type to the

  • What program opens the .dvd file created on a Windows XP computer?

I tried to open the video that have a .dvd file extension. I tried several trial programs, but none does not recognize the extension. The videos were created on my old computer using Windows XP, but many programs I moved were lost when the hard drive is gone on my new Vista machine. I do not have Vista Ultimate so I can't use the previous versions feature and I tried so many programs to open these films that the Properties tab shows that this last program that the file 'opens with '. I guess I need to know what program created the.dvd files and what I can do to save them. I don't have the original avi or mpeg files any longer. Thanks in advance,

You're welcome... and thanks for the comments.

Congratulations for the recovery of your files.

  • Programs open files/applications not found

Very suddenly, when I click on some icons on my desktop (e.g. Explorer), he asks me what program I want to open it with.  Also, many programs/files say "application not found" (for example, all items in the control panel).  Any suggestions?

    Hi, Sofie,.

You will need to update your antivirus and run a full scan of the system in safe mode. Reference: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315222 on how to start the pc in safe mode.

You may need to consult: listed process: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310585 :

You will need to rename regedit.exe regedit.com, and then click on Start-> Type Ru & -> Regedit-> ok.

    Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes\Exefile\Shell\Open\Command
(you will have to press on + to achieve order)

Now, double-click default slot right windows and then change the value in this box for '%1' % *.

    Repeat the same for HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Exefile\Shell\Open\Command

Close regedit, restart your pc and check if its working.

    I hope this helps.

  • What program opens a file CMHA?

I am trying to download a book from library & need a program to open a file for social mobilization.  Is there anything that I don't have to pay to clean my registry files?

    Just to add clarification:
A .acsm file is an "Adobe Content Server Message queue." It can be opened by Adobe Digital Editions software.

There is a Digital Editions 1.7.2 free installer that can be downloaded from the Adobe Web site.
    http://www.Adobe.com/products/digitaleditions/?PID=3081440

NOTE: Even if you have one software other than digital editions, such as Kobo Desktop, different eReader you can still receive a CMHA file when downloading an eBook. However, you must always install the Adobe Digital Editions software to download the eBook and then can be read and transferred to your eReader device.

    I hope this helps.

  • What program opens ical.exe files?

3rd attempt to solve this problem

Have a Samsung laptop. Windows 7. Have a file (see above) that I can't open. I do not have a program to open it and I don't know that one to download. I would like to delete the message that I get whenever I turn on the laptop but nothing I try gets rid of it. It drives me crazy. I scanned all files, etc, and I am not infected with viruses, etc.. Please tell me the program I need - or how to get rid of the pop up. Myra.

Thanks for your reply but I removed my laptop Samsung Recovery Solution. That seems to have done the trick. I don't think I need it anyway. Myra.
