HP pavilion 6210y of critical temperatures

Hello everyone, I'll try to find what the critical temperatures are for my CPU, GPU and MCP.  My system is stock and not overclocked at the factory.  Any help would be appreciated. I searched several places and did not find the info.  I'm worried, as I start FSX which places a high demand on thecpu.  Have deleted the cache just in case.  The authors present times:

CPU 53 c, GPU 85 c, MCP 85 under high pressures.  Fans are clean.  Thanks in advance.

Athlonll X 4 620 2.6 GHz processor can go up to 71 degrees centrigrade.
Most GPUS have a max of about 125 C temp rating.

  • HP Pavilion 15-n278sa: maximum temperatures of HP Pavilion 15-n278sa

    Hi all

is there any where that I can confirm the maximum temperatures recommended for components in my laptop?

I'm under CPUID HWMonitor after having just bought a cooling pad but I don't know if the "temperature max" values are playing to my machine or are simply arbitrary.

Also, am I correct that you do not know the speed of the fan on this model with any application of diagnostic or monitoring?

The max is the max that he never measured for your machine. These times are reasonable and very good for your laptop. If you start to see years 70 and 80 on the GPU and the kernel start to worry

    This is my current motherboard

    @sooperglew

You need your memory problem.  See the response I posted on your other thread.

You won't even have a CPU upgrade.  Run Windows resource monitor in the background and then start the game for about 5 minutes. Now, put yourself in the resource monitor and click the CPU tab and look at the history.  How many processors are used and what percentage microcopies (busy) for each processor?

  • Satellite X 205-S9349 - Question on the temperature of the GPU

    Hello

    I bought a * Satellite X 205 - S9349 * 10 months ago a recently installed a temperature monitor for the nVidia 8700 M GT card. When using 3d modeling applications, I recorded the average temperature in * 97 degrees Celsius *.

The computer translates a temperature idling of * 60 degrees *. The computer is present in an air-conditioned room, which is in the average temperature is * 19 degrees *.

What's the normal functioning of the X 205-S9349 temperature when it is at full load?

This temperature may harm my computer?

Is that what I can do to reduce the temperature without voiding the warranty offered by Toshiba?

    Thanks in advance,
    Pabst

PS: I stalled the back of my computer to the top so that air can easily circulate through the bottom.

    Hi Pabst

In my opinion there is no reason to panic. If you use the original display driver laptop Toshiba is protected and if the laptop will not appear at the level of the critical temperature will stop automatically to avoid damaging the material.

With rear shoring is great idea. Sometimes I do the same. The laptop can be cooled much better. And one more thing: don't always believe that show these third party applications.

    Good luck!

  • Satellite A665-11Z - idle and load temperatures

Guys pls. post your sleep (stand-by) and loading (games, multitasking, ect) in A665-11Z. While we could compare and know if he have overheating issues. Also, post you solutions to the problems of overheating and cooling method. Thank you

    Idle: 55-65 degrees celsius
    Load (game): 80-90 degrees celsius

I have cooling pad and recently clean my radiator and fan...

I wonder if this temperature is quite normal to same model (A665-11Z).

    > You also publish solutions to the problems of overheating and cooling method
Always use the driver of Toshiba graphics card because it has a thermal protection.
The pilot controls the GPU performance and slow performance if the level of the critical temperature is reached.
The drivers of manufacturers of graphics card to origin don't support that and the use of this can lead to a higher temperature.

  • Re: Satellite L650D - 16Q - high CPU temperature

I have the high temperature of my CPU when im play is not on the next screen
    http://ImageShack.us/f/708/Temperatura.PNG/

When I play the temperature is around _73_ Celsius and _63 percent _, cooler _80 percent _ speed
    The temperature rises immediately.
    I worry about this.
I bought my satellite 2 months ago, I don't know what is recommended temperature and fan speed. How to reduce the temperature? My fan does not?

In my opinion there is no reason to panic. When you play games, it makes sense that the CPU and GPU must offer more performance and these hardware components will produce also more heat. Sensors on the motherboard to register this heat and fans will be auto activated to operate with a higher speed and a hard recovery.

This is nothing unusual. 73 for the processor temperature is certainly not the critical temperature level.

  • HP s 4330: cannot install Windows, freezes before restarting. [solved: chipset defective stepping]

    Hello!

I am banging my head on the wall with this case, can not understand, how to proceed.

My experience: I worked a few years as a computer store technician, especially on desktop computers, so at least vaguely, I know what I'm doing, and I'm very careful when handling material.

Background of the computer: I got a used HP 4330 s after the deceased family member. No fringe, pretty clean, no damage or traces of fall release. He had dead hard disk (click), broken DVD (engine brackets bent, I am told it is a child work) and was very dusty (blocked fan). I removed the optical drive, carefully removed all the dust, replaced heat is dedicated to the Sub CPU and put inside SSD, I took my other machine (erased). In the BIOS, I went from starting EFI.

I jumped into the USB with Windows 8.1 fresh install, which ran well, until he wanted to restart. Screen went blue/violet (same color as the background of the normal installation), and it stopped, no disk activity, nothing. I turned to bike it, Windows installation proceeds, but failed. This is repeated several times.

Steps I took to solve the problem:

-Legacy mode and I tried to install again, same result.

-Memtest Ran, past, memory switched to a few specimens (DDR3 and DDR3L), tried both slots, pass all, Windows will not complete the installation.

-Traded stock to i5 - 2520M i3 CPU I had to hang out, which has been removed from the machine work (during upgrade), same result.

-Done everything once again, this time without the battery and using big HP 120W 85x0w charger, same result

-Exchanged on a different disk, same result.

-Try exchanging AC7260 network card, only to discover he is blacklisted (* beep *?), removed wifi do map altogether, no change

-Traded thumbdrive to another, and I tried two different Windows 8.1 relies

-Turn off all devices in the BIOS, except USB.

-Tried to install Ubuntu, only to find out that it works perfectly, but it will not boot from EFI, had efibootmgr shows the correct entries, laptop says that it cannot find the operating system.

-Hiren Boot CD with BartPE is Windows XP starts and works very well.

-Check time CPU, at a time using reporting and pirometer software, it does not exceed 65 degrees Celscius in any moment, which is well below the critical temperature on both processors.

BIOS is F47. To my surprise, it is newer than what I can find in the download page (F07?).

Can what steps I take to close on the issue? I would leave it under Ubuntu, but I need Windows on this computer, and I'm afraid he's going to go belly up.

    Last updated.

First of all, doughjohn - problem is not in the initiation of the stop, but it will not accomplish the closure. There is almost everything disabled except BNT kernel and the video driver.

The problem has been very difficult to diagnose, until I found a friend who also had the same machine.

    And here's the final solution:

Like unbelieveble as it is, all three motherboards have manufacturing defects.

Problem is the chipset: all of them, as, as I suspected, have Cougar Point B2 chipset with SATA bug. This degrades the connection of the HARD disk. There were two clues: USB3.0 adapter SATA with Windows 8.1/10 work and fine closures. Same disk moved in the hard drive bay or optical Bay can not close correctly and works over slow (!). Second, was my friend who had same 4330 s specifications, but without problems. I disassembled the machine and to my surprise he chipset B3, with visible signs of flow around it, and fix the markings certified HP. This laptop was RMA would once. I moved my installation to his mother, and he also starts very well on SATA ports.

This is the first (and only) for laptop with Sandy Bridge-era components that suffer from a degradation of link chipset primary HARD disk SATA lines I've seen so far.

To sum up: HP, your fault this time.

I sold the laptop and I'm looking for a new machine, it will probably take HP 6470 B, if I can find all the components.

Thank you for all those that the air here and offered advice and guidance. I really appreciate your help!

  • Satellite A300D-126 - GPU Overhead

    Hello

I'm owner of Toshiba Satellite A300D-126. I have a question about my GPU.
Is overheated when I play games or watch a movie. Beginning of the screen up and down, other times I sometimes have a green lines on it or just stopping.

I can do anything on this subject?

Can I change the video card? I have an ATI Radeon, but I don't know if my model is for sure for about $ 100. It is going to work or just need a new system?

Can I upgrade with 512 MB?

Exchange GPU or upgrade is not supported. Generally the hardware upgrade on mobile machinery is very limited and supported upgrade is for RAM and HARD drive only.
Overheating can also come from dust in the cooling rack.

Satellite A300D is pretty old machine and as a first step I recommend to clean it.
After having done that, your laptop can take a new breath, and I hope that it will not reach the critical temperature again.

  • Satellite M50 breaks down just for no apparent reason...

Well, I had this problem a few months after I got the laptop. It would be just closed especially if I had it on my bed, now I keep it on top of a desk and it's better but lately its been going again. Please help I don't know what the problem is.

I imagine that the laptop when it is placed on the bed cannot be cooled properly and if the material critical temperature is reached the laptop, turn off without any warning. The material will be protected on this path.

On the desktop, it works better because the cooling fan is free and the cooling fan is not blocked. If you use your laptop on different places, it is possible that there are now more than inside and portable dust should be cleaned. Believe me the dust can disturb the cooling and the laptop turns off again. Especially by games or applications that requires the CPU and graphics card to run at high speeds.

Think about it. You can try to clean the cell phone only or it can be done on the professional manner of service.

  • My Satellite phone stops during the restore recovery disc image

On several occasions the laptop suddenly stops until he's finished completely restore the recovery disc.
I have a suspicion that this may be due to get warm. If so, is there anything that might be too sensitive to heat and therefore tripping? It becomes a little hot but not more than my other laptop which is not traveling. It seems to work longer before stumbling in a cold room.

I have not been able to fully restore the image without problem and had to do the installation with a XP disc. This succeeded, but again, it fires after a short use.
Something should be reset or the laptop should it take repair?

    Hello

According to the description of your problem, the first step should be professionally cleaned. Dust blocks the flow of air and I imagine that shortly after, the critical temperature of portable erached. In this case the unit will stop automatically because of protection of the equipment.

The device, I'm sure everything will be OK again.

  • Chrashes S70-B-118 satellite all at stake

    Hello
I bought my Satellite S70-B-118 in September last year. I've still guaranteed, including the pick-up & return.
When I play a little more demanding games (GTA V or WoT) the laptop crashes after a while. Like 20 min. Every time! I Don t have the problem with low graphic games. So maybe the laptop is overheating? It is not a bluescreencrash or a mistake... the computer laptop lights out. * Click * and everything is black.

So what to do? It is impossible that I have to cool it with a tampon or something like that... Laptop is on smooth surface...

    Thank you for your help

    H. Zeuschner

I also think that your machine has reached the critical temperature. I suppose that you run your laptop on the food, right?
Before you start the game, close all unnecessary applications and processes in the background, change the power to 'high performance' profile and also check advanced power options. Remember that the cooling method is set to "maximum performance".

What you can also try is to put next to your laptop a little higher. Maybe on two CD boxes, just to make more space between the laptop and desktop that allow better air circulation.

  • Satellite S50-B-131 disconnects after a few minutes

Today when I finished my recording and after only 2 minutes my S50 has disconnected itself... I restarted again, and then again after 2/3 minutes and then... I tried to use only the batery to check if the power supply is a problem... Same situation... However, whenever I have started on the laptop set to normal and fast before disconnect you again. Clues?

I have to finish the work and its only in the hard drive, I was about to copy it into the external memory... but not the time until it discoinnected...

    I had suggestions appreciatte

    Thank you!!

    Carlos

With "disconnect" you probably mean "unplug", no?

On this virtual path, it is not easy to say why this is happening. What kind of job do you have?
I mean if the laptop turns off without apparent reason, it could be due to overheating and critical temperature of material.

Can you please do a little test? Start your laptop and enter the BIOS settings. After doing this let him for a while and let us know if laptop will stay on or switches OFF again.

  • Equium A60-199 randomly shutting down - could it be overheating issue

Hi, I am writing on behalf of a friend who knows his laptop A60 closing unexpectedlly... (she says that he stopped after a few minutes, or when she tried to open Firefox)

    Details of system
Toshiba Equium A60-199 Model No.: PSA67E-00J00C8J
    18 GB free & 19 GB used
    512 MB OF RAM
    CPU Celeron 2.93GH

    Running Windows XP Home
    NIS 2006

I took a look at distance and was about 30 minutes without any problem using FF logmeinitreach... There was nothing showing in the event log manager, for the time of day, that it would close down all before... so I was wondering if it is a faulty power supply?

Everythng is going on well just clicked on the analysis of complete system of Norton Internet security which has not been run in a long time and the PC, stop NOW, it will not restart everything. ??

Apparently she can hear some buzzing but nothing happens... (which I think might well be the blow fan)

Advised her to let a little and about 2 hours later, she was able to turn it back on... I wonder if it could be overheating. ??

Apparently he is 3/4 months than what was going on then ceased to happen and started again...

Please can you give me some advice on how to clean it - other than to take it to a hardware shop

I downloaded the A60 user manual and have themselves asked to confirm what show the lights - in an attempt to check overheating
    is the question...

I've also read online "you can spray compressed air into the gills of admission but not airflow vents to help get rid of the dust and debris." I have looked at the manual and can see 2 lots of mouths... It is on the side and the other on the bottom, is e eintake the one on the side? I literally direct the air on side air intakes and the spray?

When you ask him if she knows that when the fan is always, sometimes on, never an etc. she was thinking ot is ALWAYS on... who'd show up again overheating...

    Please notify
    tamba1

    Hello Cathy

I also believe that the sudden stops are the result of overheating. If the dust is blocking cooling air flow grill is blocked and material can reach the critical temperature of material very fast. Sometimes you can start any application pre-installed, the CPU usage goes to the next level and laptop will suddenly stop.

The laptop should be cleaned as soon as possible. If you have no experience with the disassembly procedure I recommend you contact the closest service and the laptop must be cleaned on professional way. It costs a little bit, but you can be sure that you use Notepad for a longer period of time.

If you need the addresses and phone numbers to contact the ASP (authorized service provider) please visit http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com > support & downloads.

    Bye and good luck!

  • Qosmio X 70-A-10N turn off when I play the games

    Hello

I bought 2 months ago Qosmio x 70-a-10n with geforce GTX 770 M. I read everywhere that it is a computer game. Months ago, I installed F1 2013 and start it. After 20 minutes of play my PC just turn off and never again. (like this guy here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lZmeMyu5Cto).

Can I send my PC to the service and then they change my motherboard (maybe). 1 week ago, I took the service and see that the computer still has a problem with the temperature. Early 2013 F1 for 5 minutes only and see with Speedfan, that the temperature of the GPU goes to 60 years and I stop the game, because that think the pc is overheating so it shuts off again.

If I want a pc for movies or on the internet, I'll buy another pc for less money. :((((
I am a little angry because I like to play games, but does not have this problem. What can I do to fix this? :((((((((

    Excuse me for my English!
    Thank you

Computers laptops Qosmio are offered by Toshiba for years. I don't know how long, but perhaps a dozen years and this laptop has been on the first day, designed for multimedia and games so that every Qosmio laptop has a powerful graphics card.
I don't really know what the problem with your machine and why this happens, but try it with different games and close down unnecessary applications before starting the game.

Use laptop on the desk and don't forget the laptop can be cooled properly. Temperature of 60 degrees is certainly not the critical temperature so you don't have to interrupt your game.

One question: are you using the original pre-installed OS that you got with your laptop?
