If I'm looking for the non animated images and small GIFs, such as the humor Cheezburger websites or funnies to Touteleurope.fr, it does not crash on me. The majority of the videos I have watching is Anime related. I don't want to use Google Chrome, because I trust Firefox to catch other ads of arise, which is nice, but I might have to if it is not resolved.

  Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. As this feature has been added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there are still some problems.

  You will have to perhaps restart Firefox for it to take effect, so save any work first (e.g. you compose mail, documents online that you are editing, etc.).

  Then perform the following steps:

  • Click on the orange top left Firefox button, then select the 'Options' button, or, if there is no Firefox button at the top, go to tools > Options.
  • In the Firefox options window, click the Advanced tab, and then select 'General '.
  • You will find in the list of parameters, the checkbox use hardware acceleration when available . Clear this check box.
  • Now restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.

  My approach would be to start with a tool to collect functional needs - a way of documenting what you want to accomplish. Then extract the data definitions and features - describe what you need to store and how it should be handled. And finally decide the method of implementation - the language (s) and models.

  My personal recommendation would be to look at Oracle Application Express. Go to http://otn.oracle.com and click on tools development (under the heading products on the left edge). On the page that you would to see Application Express. I would encourage you go through the tutorials provided with the product. I would also use SQLDeveloper (also under development tools and also see the tutorials) as the support utility. (Well I like to Oracle JDeveloper and ADF, sounds of it, you would become quickly overwhelmed, so leave this question aside for a while.)

  You should realize that the Application Express and SQLDeveloper are free with the license for the database. If you want to be totally "consistent production license", you could easily implement the application using the Personal Edition at a very reasonable cost. For learning and prototyping, the free development license OTN MAY be sufficient for your needs.

  In addition, you can ask more questions in the forum Feedback of the community until you get the details of the technology, and (better) in the forums that relate to the product you use - once you have decided. Documentation forum is to report your questions and problems of doc is not of that nature.
