  I have a Windows 7 laptop, Android phone and iPad and I have access to my printer wirelessly with all three devices. Today, I have connected the HP ePrint center and received a message that I want to join connected HP. I like to keep my systems tidy, so I was just wondering what software / bookmarks that I now have to keep on my devices and what software / bookmarks have become redundant.
  
  I have on my iPad Tablet - HP ePrint & the printer control applications and shortcuts for HP ePrint Center & connected HP. I have no problem connecting to HP connected.
  
  On my Android phone I - HP ePrint App and shortcuts to connected HP & HP ePrint Center. However when I try to connect to connected HP characters for my email and password won't type on my screen. I also went to 'Register' and then click 'connect' from there, but once more my typing does not record so I can not connect to HP connected using my phone.
  
  I'm not near my laptop right now and do not remember exactly what HP apps and shortcuts are on it.
  
  I just want to know what I need and what I'm not enemy all three devices to keep things running smoothly, thank you for your help.

  Thanks for the quick response. I returned the ePrint Center using my phone and this time received a message saying that I was already a member of HP connected and just click on a button to go there. It worked without problem, after that and I have to put my password. Think he could have just HP Connect to be a bit slow to react on my phone or vice versa.

  I had the same problem.  I was able to get around by loading the driver for Windows XP 64 bit from the Canon web site and then install the printer using the normal menu of 'install new printer' Windows 8.  If I remember correctly, I could have gotten an error message or two, but the printer appears in the printer window and ran very well.  Hope this works for you as well.

  I can connect to the printer via IP and also tried to put the TCP/IP port with printer static IP. Can I print using this, but the software "suite" does not detect the printer.

  Installed HP printer diags and it passes all the tests, but the suite software HP will always be NOT detect printer.

  Tried without firewall, tried with, still can ping printer, connect to the web interface, the static value, always the software does not detect the printer... so whats left to please other than an another replacement warranty which is used to solve the problem, as it is definitely bad coding in the suite.

  I also tried downloading drivers/full later on the HP site.

  Note that all windows updates are met, reconstruction is out of the question that it is a machine of the company and would almost take me 3-4 days to replace all the software on it (Sage, DW, COFFEE, HMRC).

  Reinstalled Win7 completely without any pb.

  Another user said, an installation of Proset Ethernet drivers/software was necessary to get the problem resolved. But to be honest that I put t think that missing Proset utility would cause the question
