  • "Operation requires an interactive window station. What does that mean?

Currently, I'm unable to install USB flash drives. The "new hardware found" Wizard, but always results in windows encounters a problem, saying that it can not install drivers because the "Operation requires an interactive window station.

Can someone tell me what means this somewhat cryptic error? Which means by an interactive window station?

The mistake of station interactive window seems to be a common problem reported in a number of the threads here trying to install a new USB hardware. The standard response is to block all programs from third parties, but this did not solve my problem (or many others). Indeed, the only real solution to this problem seems to be to reinstall windows, which appears as a slightly excessive measure and not what I would consider as a solution.

If I knew what the error means, I might have a better idea how to fix... Either way, I am running windows vista professional, 32-bit

Thanks in advance for any advice

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Can help someone identify the symbol icon on 8520

The symbol will appear along the top of the screen, usually to the left of the provider network and the time.  It is a red circle with a diagonal red line at the top left to the bottom right. As a sign "do NOT".  Below the Red are three vertical lines, according to me, yellow, red, green, but it is too small for me to see things clearly.

Anyone knows what the symbol and how to remove or address, that it alerts me?

I can see all the other symbols in messages, requests or elsewhere on the phone.

  • What does it mean? average

    Hey guys,.

My book is a code example. I'm confused by one of the lines. The point of the code is to create a list of pet owners and the pets they own. A bit like a database table.

    Public static map < person, list <? extends from Pet > > petPeople = new HashMap < person, list <? extends from Pet > > ();

Some can you please explain what the "?" means? Also, I don't understand why "extends" is here. The manual is not to explain it. I would have just written 'List < Pet >' and I don't understand why not all the other stuff.

    Thanks in advance.

It means that it it a stranger who Pet or a subtype of Pet type. An approximate result, is that it makes the list unalterable, thought it's more complex than that.

  • What is the meaning of the symbol pipe?

What does the symbol of line in this code? The pipe means generally "or", but this doesn't seem to be what he does here.

  • What does the symbol of a bolt of lightning on iPhone?

I can't find a definitive answer anywhere: average what symbol of Flash on iPhone?

Specifically, the battery of my iPhone is dead and sometimes the battery symbol appears WITH the lightning bolt and the symbol of battery above it with a small amount of red. If I jiggle the cable connection the lightning bolt disappears, then reappears, but the battery symbol is always present. So my question is, more precisely, what is the difference? That means the lightning? Why Apple makes so cryptic? Sometimes the lightning, sometimes not, that referred to as load? Both? Why do you then?

You see, I don't know whether to shake the cable until the Flash is NOT visible, or whether it jiggle to make it visible. That means that the phone is charging. Why have a symbol that is subject to various interpretations but have no icon legend/reference anywhere a user can know what it means? Why have this symbol when it is just as easy to have plain text "charge" or "do not load"?

If the bolt is present, it indicates that the unit is charging successfully. https://support.Apple.com/en-us/HT201569
