  I can help you with the it policy... lack of procedure for access to the BES server, this (and only this) cleanse a BB to an it policy:

  If you do a backup/restore, don't do this basically... rather, backup/restore only the databases specific you need (for example, calendar, contacts, messages, etc.) and more precisely to avoid data bases having something to with COMPUTER policy, business, etc..   As for a BES Server trying to reach out... There is nothing that I can offer you. Your best bet is to talk to your provider and make sure you have no BES-level service enabled on your account of them. Who should (note 'should'... is there no guarantees) prevent a BES server to reach out and the reactivation of your device.

  OK, I had my phone for over a month now.  It was perfectly fine.  I had no problem at all.  Today, while I have to send text Messages to friends, I check my phone to try to open the texts that were waiting for me, and it wouldn't let me open the app.  I checked to see if it was the ball, but other applications open except for the yahoo mail app. I can text even if I pick up the phone on the sleep of protection while it vibrates or I can send texts through my contact list, but I still can't look at the texts that are pending.  I now have 10 waiting on me... can someone help me with this...

  Tips to clear the message unread... try them in the order.

  If you have a new icon rogue Message on your home screen, or a negative number (-1), one of these solutions could erase or reset:

  Try these options:

  Open the Facebook for BlackBerry and make sure that all messages are read. Check as well the first and the second icon at the top of the screen.
  The main Messages folder and select today's date, click on the menu button and then select Mark prior opened.
  * Hard Reset BlackBerry now ALT CAP (right Shift key) and DEL (or with the BlackBerry power, remove the battery and reinsert the battery)
  Messages > saved Messages
  Messages > view folders, check each folder (calls, SMS and MMS, and boxes, saved missed boxes, browser, phone logs etc.)
  * Scroll at the top of the folder, on the title menu, click or tap to MARK PRIOR OPEN date

  My wife and I have all two storm with Verizon phones and I synced our contacts on two phones using Google Sync all contacts appear to be normal and functional.

  On her phone, when I'm inside the contact list and try to call a person from there, the phone screen opens but nothing happens.

  The only way it works is if I first enter the phone screen and choose the Contacts there - then it works.

  We talked to someone from Verizon, and they said that we had to hold the green button or the menu entry "Call Mobile" (etc.) for a period of time - never heard of this before and it didn't work ONCE - while remaining in the store...

  I have set up five accounts on my first BB I bought a few weeks ago. I have icons for all BIS email accounts on my desktop, but I can't find an icon for my BES (by Rackspace) e-mail account. I think that this icon, if it is there, is called "Desktop". Initially, I realize that my work email did not have its own icon and e-mails to this show account only the "Messages" icon with all the other emails, sms, etc..

  I use Sprint and every time I miss a call, the Messages icon appears and doesn't go away until I opened the folder and open the message missed calls. This is incredibly annoying for me, because I usually just press send and see what I have missed calls. It does not erase the messages or the notification icon.

  I really don't need WhoCalled sent messages, the only reason why I ever use the Messages folder is to clear the icon from my screen.

  Can someone help me clear this icon or change what is sent messages?

  Click the call log > Menu key > Options > Call Logging > select None.
