What video card should I go to?

I would like to buy a better graphics card for my office. This is mainly my office of game.

Video card I have is a 2 GB AMD Radeon HD 8570

I want to buy a better, but after I watched all the video cards, they are all great for my office, that I have now is just the video card it self with a small fan on top and the is no shell or case to the video card.

PC Specs

Intel Core i7 3770 (3.4 GHz)

10 GB OF RAM

2 GB AMD Radeon HD 8570

Windows 8 (64-bit)

Resolution 1920 x 1080

I want to buy one for games or is there a way I can buy a video card and out the case of the latter (AMD or NIVIDA CARD)

OR is it one can buy by HP for HP Envy H8 for games

Thank you

Brandon, welcome to the forum.

When a help request, you must always include the brand / model of the computer or the monitor. This information is necessary for us to review the specifications for them.

The main concern with the video card upgrade is the power supply unit (PSU).  Latest intermediate cards require at least 400W runs correctly.  The video card that came with your computer was most likely manufactured specially for HP working with other OEM components.  Detail of the same model cards may not work with the existing power supply.

Also, I normally recommend buy a card that does not exceed 9 "long.  This ensures that it fits in the space provided for this purpose.  Double a card (covers two slots) is normally not a problem.

I want to add a new video card (not too expensive) for my old HP Pavilion Slimline s3720, but I do not know what video card to buy, because there are far too many choices. I know that the new card must be low profile with a half support so it can fit into the currently available in the motherboard slot. I hope that Conect my Dell UltraSharp 1708FP 17-inch LCD flat monitor VGA on this new card to get the best resolution and graphics. Can someone give me a recommendation indicating which card to buy? Please be specific. Thank you.

The slimelines should never require a lot of video.  Your 2008 model circa was Vista.  Updates drivers ended with WIN 7. It's a miracle you got WIN10 without drivers available is another story.  Another factor is the skinny 160W PSU. That limits your options if you have a.  The common consensus is that either.  added heat from a graphics card, the likely additonal to a new power supply really outweighed costs.

  • Pavilion a6530f: what video card installed works for Windows 10 and a 300W power supply?

I have a6530f a desktop Pavilion PC.  I am currently running Windows 7 and am interested in upgrading to Windows 10.  I get and error message when you try to install the W10.  "NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430".  I think I need to improve my video card.  Can what video card I install that will work for Windows 10 and is rated for the power supply 300W in my lap?  I'm not very techie.

Many of these inexpensive graphics cards for Newegg.com should work with Windows 10. Just watch for those who require a 300 watt power supply system or less.

Drivers for these cards may be on the page drivers GeForcefunds. Simply select the card in the drop-down list or use the "Auto-Detect".

Help, please. I WANT TO KNOW WHAT VIDEO CARD I HAVE, BUT DON'T KNOW WHERE THE SPECIFICATION OF THE SYSTEM IS ON THE COMPUTER.

  • What video card do I need on a Dell Inspiron 1545 playing Fallout 3?

I have a problem when I try to play Fallout 3 on my Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop. I tested my computer with the System Requirements Lab and he told me that I need an upgrade. I have a Mobile Intel (r) 4 Series Express Chipset Family.  He said that the Minimum that I need for my computer is Direct X 9.0 c compatible video card with 256 MB RAM (NVIDIA 6800 or better/ATI X 850 or better).  I looked this up, but I can only find ones for desktop computers. Do you know what I should get the video card and what one is for my computer?

    Shawn

Generally, you may not get a new video card for your laptop, but if you can contact so that they can install it for you, unless you know how to install mobile video cards yourself.

I looked towards the top of your machine and it looks like you have the possibility to have a 256 MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD4330 for your machine. That would probably be it. I don't know what type of processor you have, but this card should work for you. Integrated Intel cards are not good for games at all.

    Good luck.

  • Satellite Pro L40 - what video card

The boss plays the Knights of Baphomet iii and he crashes an hour and 40 minutes. The game recommends a GeForce 4 Ti 4200 or equivalent - I think that the lack of any video card is causing the problem.

Is the recommended card good or is there one more suited to laptops and this one in particular.

    See you soon

Graphics card can not be upgraded.
    What is overheating?
If you can play nearly two hours, I assume that graphics card can handle with this game.

To be honest, L40 is not portable game and you can't wait for the performance fabulous graphics card.

  • What video card can be added to the s330f to support two monitors?

I want to add a second monitor to my HP Pavilion s330f.  I think I'll have to add a video card that supports two monitors.  Since this is a slimline box, size is a matter in addition to compatibility.  What cards can be used?

I was unable to locate a "s330f" on HP support site. Please provide the number of name and/or product of full model specific aid. Assuming you have a HP Pavilion Slimline s3300f desktop PC, the power plant is only rated at 160 watts and there is no PCIe cards x 16 graphics in your computer's power market will be based.

Depending on what you plan on using two monitors, because there may be an alternative to a new power supply and graphics card.

  • How can I tell what video card will be compatible?

Hi, I think I need a new video card, but I don't really know what the new card will be compatible with my computer, a m9077c of HP that works with Vista.I see there a Nvidia Geforce 8500 gt in there now, but looking for new to buy, I see things like (86JYAHG PVT XFX GEforce 8500 GT 450 mhz 512mbgddr2svideo/dvi/vga/pci-express16) for $35 , but then I just see alongside plain old GEforce 8500 gt for $111. What is the difference? I want just a replacement, it doesn't even have to be of the same brand, as long as this will work as well or better. How can I say that it will be compatible?

    You are the very welcome.

Make sure you first uninstall the drivers for your card current video and then instead of restarting the PC, stop it and install your new card.

Please post back and let us know how you like your new video card.

  • What video card is officially supported by Adobe for Mercury motor/GPU rendering?

    Hello

At work, we have a couple new i7 machines that run the last CC using Adobe Premiere. Today, I noticed that the machines are made video on the CPU. There is no dedicated graphics card inside the machines that use the color first.

We would like to buy Graphic cards for these machines to reduce rendering time.

    Question 1:

What card is officially supported by Adobe for Mercury motor/GPU rendering?

    Question 2:

Are supported new generation series Nvidia 1000 already? Are the new series AMD already supported (Sapphire Radeon RX 480 for example).

    Question 3:

How our users will benefit rendering on video cards mentioned above, instead of rendering on the CPU.

I know it will be difficult to predict because it would need more information, but I'm looking for a rough estimate that I can introduce to our users.

  • What video card?

I have a p6120f have installed XPsp3 and put in a power of 500W.  Need a decent video card, but understand a lot does not.   I hope someone here can give me a recommendation on a map (at least 32 MB) that fits.

    Thank you.

Dave - Thanks for the reply.  I just post that I found a card (recommended by a friend who has one in the model of his wife).

I ordered a card of 512 MB, Geforce 9600 GT, low profile.  I was also told that it will work on 250W food that was in the computer, but since I went to 500W which won't matter.  This should be more than enough card for me.

Hi Chris, your guide is HERENOTE from the ADMIN: broken link has been removed / replaced this post by Dell >

, and it is said that you have a 305wPSU and a PCIe x 16 slot for your graphics card. With that in mind, I would recommend the 9500GT, see HERE. If she says necessary 350w, manufactors overstate their power necessary for their cards, and Dell is understste power for their PSU.
