whea_uncorrectable_error

Does anyone have a solution for WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR for Windows 8, this error occurs on a new DELL computer?

Rob. I have a Toshiba Satellite, Dual Pentium processor, Intel Mobile Chipset. Windows 7 came preinstalled and ran very well, I was offered the windows upgrade and installed 8 which then, through update was installed Windows 8.1. Since the computer has been running hot, repeated BSOD, WHEA ERRORS INCORRIGIBLES, if badly he fragments the disk and required a complete reinstallation of the operating system, from new partitions. I have a spare drive, on which I have installed the version of Windows 10 pre version, which runs as champion, no BSOD, fast, stable. I put the 8.1 Windows drive back in and BAM, I get the BSOD. I got Seagate disk tools, opposed them the 8.1 Windows installation drive, there is no error in the drive. Clearly, the problem is related to the Windows OS 8.1, that I eliminated the other variables. It can be a screen to hide the problem disk Windows 8.1, which was resolved when Microsoft released an update for the video driver, if you are planning a video driver issue.  I find myself with hoping Microsoft custom cut my 10, Windows, or free update my Windows 8.1 to Windows 10, because if they cut me 10 Windows, and I am obliged to return Windows 8.1, I'm screwed.

  • Constant BSOD, "WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR."

    Hey guys,.

Lately, my computer has been crashing all playing games on it and I do not know what to do. The time that I am able to use my computer before it crashes varies, but it tends to occur more quickly on most demanding games. For example, I could play Dark Souls 2 for a few hours and be well, while it will crash within 20 minutes on GTA V. I don't know what the problem is and was hoping that someone can help you. Here's the info from my last BSOD:

    Problem event name: BlueScreen
    OS version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3
    Locale ID: 1033
    BCCode: 124
    BCP1: 0000000000000000

    OS version: 6_1_7601
    Service Pack: 1_0
    Product: 768_1

I used WhoCrashed trying to find out what the problem was, and he told me that ntoskrnl.exe broke and WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR was the error.

If we need more information, let me know what you need and how to get it!

    MU

The results tend to point to the CPU, but it could also be the heat, POWER or else block.  It's probably the processor but I would continue to do other tests to eliminate other things as the source of the problem.

A bit ago I was using my laptop HP Envy, as usual, just to watch a video on Youtube, when it crashed and I got a blue screen with the error 'WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR '. My boyfriend suggested that maybe it was a driver that requires an update, so I was going through the list of drivers in the "Device Manager" and I was almost with the list when I had the 'WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR' even once.

My laptop is fairly new, I got it in March, so I don't know why I get BSOD.

Anyone have an idea what is wrong? I'm afraid to use my laptop for what it is now because of this.

Yes, my problem has been resolved. I had to send to HP to fix it and they had to replace the motherboard. I have not had this problem since.

    Hello

    There DEFAULT_BUCKET_ID: VISTA_DRIVER_FAULT mentioned.
Maybe the BSOD appears due to some problems with some Vista drivers.

It's really hard to say what's going wrong here.
Have you tried to recover the laptop to check if the BSOD would appear again
    Maybe you should do this.

In recent days, I get a blue screen of death with the error 'whea_uncorrectable_error', I read something about the BIOS update, because the error is probably caused by the previous version of the BIOS. I gave the updated correctly, but as soon as restarting my laptop, nothing has been started.

Can you please help me and tell me how to recover my BIOS?

Older version of BIOS does not BSOD... cause the BSOD appeared during the last day, but I guess the laptop worked correctly in the past under the old version of BIOS... the BIOS could not the problem here...

However, the fact is that the laptop is dead now... probably because the update process was interrupted due to the BSOD...

    Hello

Could be heat related - try using a small fan to blow into the air intakes to see if that helps.
It is just like it loses power or stop it in the normal way?

Remove ALL power and reinstall all the memory cards and cables (both ends where possible).
in fact, remove and replace - don't do not just tight. Remove the dust bunnies and clean the

Please help - what can I do?

    Concerning
    Sebo

    Hello

Could be heat related - try using a small fan to blow into the air intakes to see if that helps.
It is just like it loses power or stop it in the normal way?

Remove ALL power and reinstall all the memory cards and cables (both ends where possible).
in fact, remove and replace - don't do not just tight. Remove the dust bunnies and clean the
air vents. Check that fans are working (before and after opening the case). When your laptop on all the
You can do is to reinstall the memory and clean the vents (still may try to add a small fan as a
    test).

This sounds like material so if the above does not help you then probably need help
a real computer store (not the leeks and the glances at a Best Buy or other stores) or the
    Support of system Maker.

    WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR
[Note: the underlined address is not always the same, but the others are still the same]
    Description:

I get this blue screen for the past 4 months frustrating, and I have tried everything to fix:

    • I switched RAM locations
    • Bought a new hard drive (my previous failure gave me a hard drive test, although apparently it wasn't the problem)
    • Paid for internal fan of cleaning... and although my laptop MUCH less heat, it still crashes
    • Formatted 3 times:
    • Once with the new drivers
    • A second time without having to install other applications (vanilla installation)
    • A third time remove my HDD, partition, install drivers manual (no windows update) and do not install other software applications
If I am inclined to believe that the problem is hardware related.
The time it takes for the laptop down to the blue screen is completely random. Sometimes the laptop only lasts 5 minutes, it takes sometimes an hour before it crashes.
Of course, after my final format, when it crashed with only IE and painting opened, I started to install software and noticed that the time it takes to crash is linked to the CPU load:
FL Studio, Skype and other applications of large size tend to lead to the accident in less than 2 minutes. Other programs like TeamViewer, which (to me) uses a lot of bandwidth, lead to a crash in less than 10 minutes.
During navigation only the web does not cause an accident at least an hour.
    Please... I'm desperate!
What could be the cause of this error?
I took the laptop for MANY it professionals, those who claim that they can solve this problem, when they did infact. I even took it to my local distributor of HP.
    Can not fix my laptop?
Any help is greatly appreciated :)
    Miguel Muscat

    PS: This could help:
A friend has been inspecting my minidump files generated from the crash (C:\Windows\MiniDump) and found something he thought might help:
    Error: ICACHEL1_SNOOP_ERR (Proc 1 Bank 1)
He says he has something to do with the lower cover of the CPU. The CPU would be defective? Hope this helps :)
If this can help too, I'll gladly upload my files to dump :)
