  Can't find update drivers for my laptop Hp Pavilion dv6 smart who has the graphics card ATI Mobility HD7470M, once recommended with AMD driver auto-detect mess to the top of the resolution and the only solution to that is a system restore.

I looked in your question about your Hp Pavilion dv6 Notebook and questions with looking for a new driver for your ATI Mobility HD7470M.  The driver will change not only updated. If the device works properly I wouldn't try to change the system.

  Here is a link to the HP Support Assistant, if you need it. Simply download and run the application and it will help with the software and drivers on your system that need updated.

• "Other devices" yellow question marks

  In my quest to have sound on my computer, I noticed that everything on my "Other devices" tab in "Device Manager" has the yellow question mark next to them. I have a "Biometric coprocessor" "Network controller" "Controller of Bus SM" and a "Unknown device" tab listed here. Should I be concerned by these? And, if so, is this another driver issue, as if the sound was? Thank you for your time and this is my specifics.

  You can also try to identify the device in Device Manager on the "details" - tab of each device in the "Device instance ID".

  If there is an ID as "PCI\VEN_yyyy & DEV_xxxx... "entry"xxxx"in the right field imput on www.pcidatabase.com

  In the result list to compare the "yyyy" (above) with the VEN ID and then you have found the name of the device.

  Other/similar "device instance ID" starting with 'USB '.... ' or 'ACPI' you will find in the table I linked above.

• other devices (yellow question mark) ethernet controller. docking station

  I have 2 laptops, two T2400 MPC.  A laptop works fine in the MPC TransPort station.    My newly re-installed windows XP laptop has no internet connection LAN when it is docked.  the material found continues to rise, there is no driver for the docking station.  How do I get rid of the other device errors (I know that I can uninstall but it comes back) and get the internet working properly.   USB/printer /..., all work at the station connection terminal simply not LAN.

  Clear the cache and cookies only from Web sites that are causing problems.

  "Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/tools > Options > advanced > network > content caching Web: 'clear now '.

  'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems:

  • Firefox/tools > Options > privacy > Cookies: "show the Cookies".

  If you use a bookmark to access the mail page, and then try to navigate to the page of the mail from the Yahoo homepage or the login page of Yahoo.

• HP 15 Notebook PC: Question of recovery

  When I tried to achieve the recovery last night, it gave me an error saying "Cannot find X:/src/recovery/rita-tool.exe" (or something like that) and I clicked on OK and reset it this PC option was always there and I was still in the Recovery Manager window, but the system recovery option was missing. I do not understand how this cause that happened I never touched or defragmented or did something unusual on the recovery disk. All if the automatic defrag was on but it in the application of defragmentation, he said that the recovery disk was never executed. So I don't know how this could have happened and I need help with fixing this so any ideas would be great. THX.

  I finally contacted HP and they said I was making the recovery of the bad way, she said that I need to use the computer reset instead of the Recovery Manager and if the problem has been resolved.

• My HP Pavilion Notebook has questions

  Recently, I turned off my PC then started to connect, once I had entered my password that the PC got stuck on the part "Welcome" (this is the first time, it has happened and that happened for two hours). I recently got this PC not a month ago. Before I shut down my PC I was do pop ups and asked to rate sites Web etc, I noticed that it seemed to be a virus but when I scanned it, no viruses were found. The only issues with my PC are internet and my trying to connect. I would be extremely grateful for the help please.

  peerone suggested its probably of malware, adware, Trojans etc.
  What antivirus do you use?
  I suggest you download following the latest software of their authentic sites: malwarebytes 1) free version - scan completely & remedy in threat analysis, 2) adwcleaner - run the download file n do a complete scan n remove all found threats, 3) trend housecall - a full scan (may take several hours depending on the size of the hard drive (, mine took 6 hours) & delete or correct any threat detected.
  
  After all this rebooting your system, download CCleaner on their website, install it do a full scan... do not change the settings. Click on correct after the scan.
  
  Restart scan with some another antivirus online scanner again, opt for trend housecall new scan online eset, do the download, install... sweep remove n or difficulty threats detected, if any. That's all.
  After all this, better do you windows defender after analysis to date for confirmation.
  
  post your results of the analysis... If you have found any threats in any of the scans after each of them,
  If it is a Trojan or a virus, you may need to restore your system to a previously affected State.

  Hi, I am considering an upgrade of processor, possibly an I-5 intel or maybe an I-7 for my machine. The vehicle currently has a plug i - 3 3130 m G2 (pga998b).  I use the latest version of the bios, v27 and all chipset drivers and equipment are up to date.

  Also. the manual indicates that it supports a maximum of 8 GB of ram?  Yet, the chipset, HM76, according to the website of intel says that it supports 12 GB, which is correct?

  Finally, do I need to use a drive hard format advanced when replacement / upgrade of the reader?  I'm looking at 7200 RPM to at least 1 TB of space as the 500 GB drive current 54oo RPM is 80% full and I need more space.

  Look at your owner's manual corresponding to your part number and it will tell you what CPU you can upgrade to and read your maintenance manual which will show the upgrade of RAM as well. In regards to the HARD drive, there is no need to format ahead of you only use GPT for larger HARD disk and 3 TB under you only use the MBR then they are both still NTFS format.

  Thank you... I tried to update the drivers, has not helped.  Just talked to an old friend who is in IT, explained it would be too much to try to replace the graphics card in a laptop.  Says that this isn't worth it since mine is already 5 years old.  Guess it's time for a new laptop...

  Try disabling the startup of Windows 10 hybrid - you can do the following.

  Open settings and select System.  Select food and sleep, and then click additional power settings - in the next window, click on "Choose what the power button" in the left pane.

  In the next window, click on "Change settings that are currently unavailable" (close), then Remove the check mark from the box against 'Turn on a quick start (recommended) '.  Click on the button Save the settings, and then close windows open and stop the laptop by right clicking on the icon in Start Menu, select (Admin) command prompt and click 'Yes' to the uac prompt.

  Type (or copy and paste) the following command (including spaces) and click Enter.

  Shutdown /s /t 0

  Start the laptop and let Windows take over completely for a few minutes before checking if it is now shut down properly in the Start Menu.

  If this has fixed the problem, it may be useful by turning the quick start back on - sometimes simply remove and re-create the file will solve the problem.

  If your friend is unable or refuses to change the setting on the router there is nothing to do.

  If he does not know how, the router manufacturer or Internet provide are likely to help change the mode to mixed, so it does both.

• Pavilion dv6500: HP Pavilion dv6500 Windows 10 update chart question

  I have a HP Pavilion dv6500 originally shipped with Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit on it. I bought a copy of Windows 7 Home Premium and put it out there. Now that I've learned, I can get Windows 10 free on it. Launch day came and the app get Windows 10 indicates the graphics card is not compatible because NVidia has not done yet. I checked the NVidia website and they said to come to support OEM site. HP support site has not updated drivers. Y at - it somewhere that I can get the proper drivers if they exist?

  I can't upgrade my laptop Hp Pavilion dv6318ea W8.1 to W10.

  This because HP did not support the Nvidia Gforce 7400 display driver in this notebook to go to W10.

  Will there be the W10 display driver for this laptop?

  Just bought a HP Stram SKU K3Y85UA #TBA 11. I guess that's a d011, but that does not appear on the label, it shows as AU58Y3K model number, which I cannot find in any of the manuals - maybe I'm looiing in the wrong place? In any case, I have two questions about SD cards:

  1. (both parties question) what is the speed of the interface of SD card? A class 10 card will provide a benefit or a card low speed will be just as fast because of the limitations of the interface?

  2. has anyone successfully used an SDXC card with this laptop? I know that he is apparently not supported. Linux not is not supported either, but works very well. I hope to be able to use a 64 GB card in the slot.
