Wheel of death when I start ACC on Windows 8.1

Hello

After I restarted my computer this morning and I am now unable to successfully launch the VAC. I googled the solution and I did everything on this document (App won't open |) Wheels of progress turn continuously). I had an older version of PS and I deleted it, I tried to rename and delete the OOBE folder. I tried to run as administrator, I rebooted maybe 20 times and nothing works. I figured out how to get the program actually appear (end all tasks of the ACC and run support CEF then run CC as an administrator), but the program has just the blue arrow. I really need a solution that works or I need an email to contact support because the 'Web' site maintains just redirect me to the page "App will not open. Your promise of support isn't exactly very accurate because it is impossible to find any email, phone number or chat live (as someone else has said in another thread). I would really like to have ACCESS to successfully launch so I can install my programs.

Thank you

Kyle N.

Kyle what version of the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application you have installed?  You can find the version by clicking on the option of the machine, then go to preferences.  Also can you confirm the location of the OOBE folder which you removed?

    Hi Harry,.

Looks like you have some program registry installed and programmed to run at startup, which does not work.  I suggest we identify and remove the boot and then remove it totally from the system (uninstall).  Registry modification programs are generally risky, rarely do much good, can cause great harm and are not really necessary as Windows does a good job of managing the registry on its own.

Try a boot minimum http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135.  If the problem goes away then it's just a matter of tracking down the culprit at the origin of the problem.   Follow the procedures described in the article.  Once found, remove, delete, disable or uninstall.  Once don't forget to reset your operating system to normal status, as described in the procedures. If the problem occurs in clean mode then just restore the system to normal and reboot - this solution will not work.

Start in safe mode with network and see if the problem is here.  A result allows us to narrow down the search for the cause.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

    Restore point:

Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:

Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.

  • Circle/wheel of death when connecting to wifi

Bizzare.  Wifi connection (UK Plusnet) results in circle/wheel of death.  Disc and cleaned and reinstalled Snow Leopard.  The same problem.  * but works in a different House (UK BT) *.

  • When I start my computer Windows 7, it starts but nothing appears on the screen.

    Original title: startup problem

    Hello.

When I start my computer win 7, it starts (fan starts, dvd disk drive turns on, lights on the Tower of keys on and even usb ports give power IE can charge my phone by usb cable), but nothing appears on the screen (empty, nothing, does not react)

However, after you restart the computer several times active and computer screen display works fine without problems.

This problem occurs only when I turn on the computer after having completely off but does not happen when I restart using the option restart.

I'd be suspicious of an imminent hard drive failure.  Download and run the program tester for the manufacturer of your hard disk drive.  Give me the model number of your player (Device Manager), and I'll give you the link to download. At least, you have to exclude this possibility before you spend a lot of time trying to re - build.
