When I back up my data files, I want to understand my favorites. Which folders and/or files should I include in my backup routine?

Under Windows XP. With the help of "ntbackup" to do the job. All software is located in C:, all my data files are on a second physical drive E:.

Firefox stores the bookmarks and the browser history in places.sqlite and either use a HTML file or creates a backup of the HTML for the bookmarks.

There are 10 daily rotating backups of JSON in the bookmarkbackups folder in the Firefox profile folder, one for each day when Firefox is started.

You can make Firefox create an automatic HTML (bookmarks.html) backup when you exit Firefox, if you set the pref to true on the subject browser.bookmarks.autoExportHTML: page config you can open via the address bar.

  • A data file has lost, but has the backup of control files

    Version: 10.2.0.1.0

    In our test DB, we lost a data file. This database has not been saved. It is not in ARCHIVELOG mode.

    This data file belongs to the SYSTEM or SYSAUX tablespaces. It is a user created tablespace.

    I have the backup of control file. But this isn't a control created using file
    ALTER DATABASE BACKUP CONTROLFILE TO TRACE;
    This is the original (binary) control file
    control03.ctl
    How can I make the data base to the top?

    According to Kamran Agayev, if you can mount the database, then you can do an "alter database backup controlfile to trace;"
    Then you can drop the

    SQL > startup mount
    ORACLE instance started.

    Total System Global Area 1068937216 bytes
    Bytes of size 2145048 fixed
    763364584 variable size bytes
    297795584 of database buffers bytes
    Redo buffers 5632000 bytes
    Mounted database.
    SQL > alter database backup controlfile to trace;

    Database altered.

    Then you should be able to use the file to create a new controlfile and we hope to open the database.

  • What jQuery files should be included?

    I use CS5.5 and launched a project using the phone gap jquery files:

    < script src = "jquery - 1.5.min.js" type = "text/javascript" > < / script >

    < script src = 'jquery.mobile - 1.0 a 3 .revolutions .js' type = "text/javascript" > < / script >

    I noticed that these files must be updated so I downloaded the following ZIP file to http://jquerymobile.com/download/

    The zip file: jquery.mobile - 1.2.0.zip (JavaScript, CSS and images)

    When I opened the files it contained six files:

    Capture.JPG

    (1) these files, which should I include in my project? Should I include all the files?

    Also, from my understanding, I should include a jquery file (I assume that this file is NOT included in the download above), a CSS file and jquery mobile file. Fix?

    My final project will be a native app for iOS and Android.

    You pouvez include all files, just to make sure that you have them, but you only need to include those that you are referencing actually.

    While in development, you typically use the standard files, and when you're ready to publish, you switch to .revolutions versions to save on loading time.

  • How to get to 'leave the event' script to run again when the form with the data file is reopened?

    I've created an Adobe Dynamic XML using LiveCycle Designer form with many fields / subforms that are 'visible' or the 'hidden' according to the selected options of different menu drop-down lists. Also, the form has been activated to save. Users can successfully fill out the form and save a copy with the data that has been entered.

    The problem I have is that when the recorded file is opened again in the 'hidden' fields / subforms that were previously made visible by selecting the appropriate options in the drop-down list NOT displayed now. However if you make the same selections from each of the drop-down list shows still hidden ONCE the fields / subforms are displayed, and do not contain data that has been entered.

    The problem seems to be that the script that determines whether a field / subform is 'hidden' or 'visible' is a

    "<event activity="output" name="event__exit">" "

    that is followed by

    If (this.rawValue is '0')- (i.e. the value of the drop-down list)

    sfCompanyDetails.presence = "visible";

    sfRecruitmentAgency.presence = 'hidden ';

    etc, etc.

    and, therefore, it is not executed again when the file is reopened.

    Can someone advise please how do I do this?

    Hello

    Check if you enabled the "auto" option to keep the script changes in the properties of the form.

  • What are the files must be included in a backup of the catalog?

    Is it enough to save the .lrcat file, or must the .lrdata file and folders setting always come with? The previews.lrdata is sometimes a huge file. A catalog works always with a slightly desynchronized previews.lrdata file?

    Yes, the catalog (lrcat) backup is a MUST. Not so important is the Preview file (lrdat) as LR will rebuild it for you if it considers that it lacks. If the size of this file is not commensurate with the size of the catalog file that it is maybe because you manage 1:1 previews. Options for what you can find in the settings of the Catalog under file management. What is a record of settings? Oh and don't forget not to backup the catalog file (lrdat) has nothing to do with the backup of your images - they you will have to do for yourself if you do not already done.

  • Problems with duplicate DATA when the data file was added after the backup completes

    Hello

    I am facing a problem when running of duplicate database with the command of database duplicate RMAN on a 10 g database. If I have the duplication from a full backup that is missing a data file that has been added to the database after the full backup of preforms, I get the following error message:
    Starting restore at 10-10-2009 18:00:38

    released channel: t1
    released channel: t2
    RMAN-00571: ===========================================================
    RMAN-00569: =============== ERROR MESSAGE STACK FOLLOWS ===============
    RMAN-00571: ===========================================================
    RMAN-03002: failure of Duplicate Db command at 10/10/2009 18:00:39
    RMAN-03015: error occurred in stored script Memory Script
    RMAN-06026: some targets not found - aborting restore
    RMAN-06100: no channel to restore a backup or copy of datafile 43
    Redo log which was Pond at the time of the creation of 43 of the data file is also available in the backups. It seems that RMAN cannot use the log information archived redo to restore the content of the data file 43. I guess that because failure is already reported in the RESTORATION and not in the RECOVERY phase, so again the archived logs are not available yet. I get the same message even if I do another backup of the data file 43 (so a backup that is not in the same backupset as the backup to all the other data files).
    The script, the command duplicate product, I guess that RMAN reads the contents of the source database controlfile and trying to get a backup that contains all the data files to restore the database Assistant - if such a backup is not found, it fails.

    Of course, if I try to perform a restore/recovery of the source database, it works without problem:
    RMAN> restore database;

    Starting restore at 13.10.09
    using target database control file instead of recovery catalog
    allocated channel: ORA_DISK_1
    channel ORA_DISK_1: sid=156 devtype=DISK

    creating datafile fno=43 name=F:\ORA10\ORADATA\SOVDEV\SOMEDATAFILE01.DBF
    channel ORA_DISK_1: starting datafile backupset restore
    channel ORA_DISK_1: specifying datafile(s) to restore from backup set
    restoring datafile 00001 to F:\ORA10\ORADATA\SOVDEV\SYSTEM01.DBF
    .....
    The 43 data file is re-created and then redo is applied to the course.

    So, does anyone know if the duplicate database can use archived redo logs to recreate the contents of a data file, as does a normal restore/recovery? If this is the case, then it is necessary to perform a full backup before each duplicated if a data file has been added after such a backup database.

    Thanks in advance for any answers.

    Kind regards
    Swear

    Hi swear,.

    I got exactly the same problem during replication.
    Because we backup archive logs every 6 hours with rman, I added an additional block of running this script.
    run
    {
    backup incremental level 0
    format "% d_ % s_ %%t p_ bk_ '.
    filesperset 4
    database not saved;
    }

    (I also hit a bug in the catalogue which was resolved by patching up the dbs catalog 11.1.0.6, 11.1.0.7 for.)

    This will restrict the data not making file not part of any backup rman 6 hours while jumping for which there is already a backup of data files.

    Kind regards

  • My data file trace the wrong frequencies in MWO

    I'm plotting a S parameter file, but frequencies in my chart do not match the frequencies in my file.

    Sometimes when you try to plot data files (let's say the measured data) against the results of simulation, you get unexpected results.  This coming do not select the right frequencies to the extent.

    When you add a measure to a graph there is a selection of default frequency, but you can replace it.  The extent of dialogue for this field is inside, as shown here:

    by pressing on the ' > ' to the right of the Freq Sweep field, you can see that there are two selections of possible frequency for the file for the data file.

    • Document is a list of the frequencies in the actual data file

    • Project is the list of frequencies in the frequency list of the projects and those who most probably used by your schema.

    If you try to plot two different measures against each other, you'll want to make sure that you have defined two measures on the same bandwidth.

    Another thing to watch if you are using a data file with a small number of frequency inside points is the interpolation method.  We have a knowledge base article that explains how to select an interpolation method and the trade-offs.

    But, when you start using a data file (.xls, .cdr, etc.) programs take about ten seconds to load (my word 2103 files appear to load very well).

    It seems that the process of transmission of data from the file to a program slows down.

    Advice?

    After extensive troubleshooting, it seems that Logitech SetPoint Event Manager (UNICODE) is the culprit.

    The software that came with my new keyboard wireless Logitech (MK710) and mouse (M705). It provides for the attribution of events in one of the eight buttons on the mouse and some of the keys on the keyboard.

    It seems that the background task interferes with some programs start by double-clicking its data file, thus transmitting the data to the program at its opening.

    I found a work around has been to open window setpoint either from the start menu point settings or control panel mouse options. Once this window is open, the problem seems to go away for a while.

  • growth of data files

    Hello

    11 GR 2, OS is not serious, the DSO is excluded in this case - only FS

    I wonder what the algorithm behind the growth of the data files that belong to a tablespace, but for example for performance reasons, are placed on 2 different physical volumes.

    Do you know if the Oracle Server always takes advantage of spread of these files?

    What happens if we only have one huge table? -It spreads extended this tables consistently in these 2 data files?

    example:
    my_huge_table is located in the USERS tablespace which consists of 2 data files:
    e:\users1.dbf
    f:\users2.dbf

    My observation is that it is not expected that users evaluations1 is filled and using the file mobiles2 in parallel. However I don't know if it is reliable where performance is concerned. Please share your verified knowledge.

    When you add a second data file to a tablespace after segments have already allocated punctuated in the first data file - these extensions will remain in the first data file - there is no measure of rebalancing mechanism on this layer. The new data file will then prefer to allocate extensions, if, so sooner or later, the two data files will have a fill. This behavior is independent of the type of storage to that of data files.

  • Automatic extension of a data file with the complete file system

    We are working on a database of Oracle10g 10.2.0.4 on HP - UX 11.31 (Itanium |) PA - RISC)

    We would create our database by activating the automatic Extension of our data files
    (defining the maximum size limit or unlimited)

    Our question is:
    What happens to the database in the event of complete file system when one of the data files should be automatically extended?
    The extended data file has become corrupted or the db cease its activity?

    Marco

    No data corruption should occur. If Oracle is trying to develop, OS it will send the message that it is not possible. That's all.
