When I do exp (expdp), why use the temporary tablespace?

Dear

Imp (impdp) is using temporary tablespace.

but I'm not using tablespace temp, while exp (expdp) is running.

I think that exp (expdp) will not use temporary tablespace. is it not?

Please let me know?

He could.  It must run queries on the data dictionary.  Some of these applications may require the temp tablespace.

    Hello

Check the sessions that are connect to DB, which is to use the temporary tablespace

    Select *.
    session $ v
    where in saddr (select session_addr
    v $ tempseg_usage v
    where v.tablespace = 'TEMP')

You can query the v$ sort_segment, v$ sort_usage and v$ tempeg_usage know for the temp tablespace.

  • Why using the typewriter in acrobat 9 adds less file size that the use of the text of the comment in acrobat 11 tool?

Why using the typewriter in acrobat 9 adds less file size that the use of the text of the comment in acrobat 11 tool?

Two employees, one using acrobat 9 and the other uses acrobat 11. The two employees open a secure document one page 105 KB in size. Used using acrobat 9 using the typewriter tool to add comments. Document increases in volume to 137 kb. Second employee using acrobat 11 uses the comment add the text tool (since it is no longer a typewriter tool). This employee has to use tool once and the document immediately increases size of 105 k to 950 + kb. Why is this? What can be done to avoid this?

As I suspected much earlier, the difference is in the fonts that are used for the text. For the smaller file, text annotation font is Times Roman. that is a policy that is essentially built into Acrobat/Reader. For the larger file, the font is Tahoma, which is not an integrated police force, which ends by happens so the entire police gets embedded in the PDF file. The size of this font on disk file is 681KO on my system (Mac), and it ends up taking more space when they are embedded in the PDF file. The same type of thing happens with form fields and this is done so that all characters in the font are available when the text is changed in a system that may not have the installed font.

One of the problems is if you try to reduce the size of the file by changing the font that used up one of the built-in ones (Courier, Helvetica, TImes Roman), Acrobat does not remove the now unused of the file font information, if you do not get the reduction in file size that you can imagine, even if the font is no longer presented as being incorporated. I submitted this as a bug some time ago, but it has not been fixed.

    Hi Frank,.

In the example, the '{cache-name}' is supposed to be replaced by a table name or view of data that is queried for the cached data. Its purpose is show how to pass parameters to the constructor of class.

  • created by using the default tablespace "SYSAUX' table

    Hi all

I am a newbie of semantic technology from oracle. I have a question that I do not understand why the "articles_rdf_data" table is not under the created tablespace "rdf_tblspace", but in the default tablespace "SYSAUX? I created a table space named articles_rdf_data and a network of semantic data using this tablespace. After I created the table "articles_rdf_data" and a semantic model 'items' which uses the created tablespace, and then I logged in the OEM to check it out, I found that this table uses the default tablespace "SYSAUX" rather than created tablespace which I thought that it should use. Thanks in advance.

    Kind regards
    Hong

    Salvation Hong,

When you created your table in the application "articles_rdf_data" have you set the tablespace?
    for example
    SQL > create table xyz (i int) tablespace rdf_tblspace;

If you don't explicitly set, you must change the default behavior of the user of the session
tablespace. Assume that your user session is scott

    SQL > ALTER USER scott TABLESPACE DEFAULT rdf_tblspace;

    Thank you

  • check box use the temporary Interface as a derived Table

    Hello
in some guides and oracle websits, they want to check the box use the temporary Interface as a derived Table (Sub-Select).
but the topology and datastor KM or target, I can't click on it...
is - anyone know why? what setting I need to change?

    reason
I want to create a temporary interface to use as a source.
MySQL-> temp. interface-> join oracle of temp table. interface.

    Thank you..
    Michael

    Hi michael,.

When you create a temporary interface, an interface in which the target data store does not exist, you can then use this temporary interface as a source in a different interface. Once you add the temp as a source interface on the mapping tab, select the temporary interface. You should see the check box in the Properties window of the Source to 'Use the temporary Interface as a Derived Table (Sub-Select)'. To use the code integrated into the interface of temp, check this box. The code will then be added as a subselect for this interface.

See this post for more details: http://www.rittmanmead.com/2011/06/odi-11g-new-mapping-and-interface-features-part-1/

    Enjoy!

  • Why delete the temporary file?

    Why delete the temporary file?

because temporary files are of no use to us and toff are created for temporary use so after use keep them in our system, as resulting from the decreade of memory hard drive and also a lot of downturns and vaults of virus, so it is better to delete the temporary files u can try one of them to make the best management of your temporary folder

    1. search for folder or folder type in the run command and delete everything in the temp folder
2.u can also use tune up utilities software
    3. famous is ccleaner it's free, you can download it and use it

The loss of the temporary tablespace planted the DB. A database can survive without sorting and Index - rebuilt (main uses of the Temp tablespace). Right?

    :-(

What this has to do with Sb?

    Results complete post of
SELECT * from version of v$.

OP mentioned 10 gr 2 and higher. But otherwise too, it won't really matter as this seems to be a generic question IMO. The only difference version that would leave 10 g, restart the db would make the temporary tablespace once again, that's all!

Installing Windows XP is for Pro edition - not Home edition.

Since you say that your COA sticker is for home, you will need to reinstall with recovery disks or OEM System Builder of the manufacturer suitable for XP Home Edition.

Software sometimes external will create or update an optional parameters file named user.js. For some reason, one of the things that often turns in there is a preference to restore your previous session at once. However, because Firefox uses user.js to override your normal parameters, whenever it starts, which then turns into a permanent change.

More contact information system (next to your message) shows that you have a user.js file. To check what are the benefits and/or remove, try this technical support article: How to fix preferences that will not save.

Note that by default, Windows hides your search Firefox profile folder and facilitate navigation in Windows Explorer. You can access the folder from inside using Firefox

    • button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > troubleshooting information
    • (menu bar) Help > troubleshooting information
    • type or paste everything: in the address bar and press Enter

In the first table of the page, click on the view file"" button. This should start the folder in Windows Explorer.

    A little luck?
