  When I type the text I get no new line when I hit return (enter). This happens if I draw a text box first or if I'm just typing on a line. The text tool seems to "disengage" - it is always selected in the tool box palette & layer, but I don't have an active cursor. This means that I can only type one line of text at a time. Anything typed after that hitting back is not displayed. Fonts will work, and the principal is not so big that the text did not fit into the text box or on the page.   I know it's late, but I finally got a real solution to this problem.  If your keyboard on your laptop has a 'NumLock' key make sure that it is in 'off' and use the Enter key in the main keyboard section.  This has frustrated me for a long time, fortunately, it is a simple solution.

  Last night, my Blackberry is not completely unblock after as I type my password. I type the right password and press ENTER, the password input section darkens (or it will stay on the "Enter Password" screen and seem to freeze). (If I type the wrong password it just invites me again, so I know I type the password). This is according to that multiple battery pulls.

  Sometimes, after you type the password, I can hold the blackberry button and it will bring to the top of the box that allows me to BBM, browser, homescreen, etc and I can "switch" to this program, but there is a sort of shadow frozen area enter the password on the app that never I going to and I can't use the keyboard or the trackball in these applications.

  This "box of jelly ' prevents me from using any application on my BB!

  I CAN receive calls. Barely. I can only make calls if I remove the battery and only unlock the phone and go to the option to purchase the place.

  I upgraded to OS 5 a week ago and until last night, things were fine. I hear my BB when it receives messages (work tones) or txt etc, but cannot read anything due to the lock!

  The only suspect is Google Talk, I have installed two days ago and seemed to be hogging resources and drain the battery, however the phone worked well for about a day with it on. Google Talk is perhaps run at startup and hang up things? I doubt it, but it is full disclosure.

  I also, pulled battery and removed the micro-sd card to see if it had an effect - unfortunately nothing helped.

  An analogy I can think of it is as if Windows Explorer is blocked, but everything else works.

  I had the problem described here with this submitted URL then tried to block an application. I tried several different browsers and computers and tried to block different applications for different users. I had the App block to work by removing the user of security for the family on all computers and then add on one only, blocking Apps and then adding the user in security for the family on the other computers.

  It was quite a tedious exercise of going through.

  Here's the very simple solution to remove from Firefox AVG safe search.

  2. click on "restart with disabled modules.
  3. click on "restart".
  4. the browser closes and a popup box will open.
  5. Select 'Reset all the preferences of the user by default Firefox'.
  6. click on "make changes and restart".
