  (Pigmented) black ink is not compatible with the media of photography and color cartrdige (s) is used for printing on photo paper.  You have an installed color cartridge?  There ink?  What model is your printer?

  If the image on the external monitor is ok then the graphics card should be ok.
  If an FL inverter would be defective then everything would be visible, but just a little more dark and as behind a fog

  Try to make a copy using the glass, then a second using the ADF and compare two copies. Both have lines or not only made using the ADF?
