  Method 1:

  Re-register the engine install and try to install the game.

  (a) click Start, click run and then type cmd in the dialog box, and then click command prompt.

  (b) at the command prompt, type the following and press ENTER after each line:

  ·         MSIExec /Unregister

  ·         MSIExec/regserver

  (c) try to reinstall the game.

  Make sure that the Windows Installer service is not set to disabled.

  (a) click Start, click run and type services.msc and press Enter to open Services.

  (b) click the Windows Installer service, and then click Properties.

  First problem is there are 9 updates in waiting, but they don't seem to update when you click on the button update.  The update button simply returns.
