  When I bought my Toshiba Satellite Pro A40 my audio is not affected by loading programs and any other activities that could slow down my computer.

  I had to resinstall windows a few months back when my HD crashed.

  I reloaded all my drivers etc. and installed itunes.

  When I play music or any audio I listen to jump seriously when loading programs or when processes are performed on my computer.

  This used to be the case, I tried to change my settings from quicktime to run in safe mode, I even now deleted quicktime and itunes that I thought it was the source of the problems.

  Nothing worked, my sound is still seriously affected when my processor is busy

  I uninstalled, reinstalled my sound card drivers, but nothing has worked...

  I would really appreciate it if you have all the settings I could change to stop this problem.

  I ran the repair for Microsoft redistributable 2015 (both x 86 & x 64), but that does not alleviate the problem. I could solve the problem by deleting files of preferences that have been imported from the previous version of the AE. This forced AE to use default preferences, and I managed to load the program. I was then able to restore all preferences exactly as they were for the 2015.2 version and still had no problem. Not sure why the automatic import of these settings could cause a problem.

  I noticed that after updating the driver Nvidia to the last version that I was no longer able to set enable GPU tested for CUDA acceleration in the Previews of the AE preferences page. A message indicates that the card was not recognized. I had to go back to a previous version of the Nvidia driver in order to use the GPU again.
