If Windows Movie Maker video publishing gets crushed half size
Hello
I have Vista Home Basic and whenever I publish a movie in Windows Movie Maker, even if I don't cut and regardless of the length of the film, if its 3 minutes and 3 seconds, the end result is that the video is compressed vertically and the lower half of it is a green screen Uni. Half top shows the entire video, but she is crushed to half its normal height. Even the icon on my desktop shows the Green band at the bottom half. Before that, all right. I can change everything normally, but when he did publish, the final product is messed up. I don't get an error message. The files I'm trying to edit/publish are. AVI. I don't have any other file types to test and see if it's only this type of file, originally a problem.
Anyone know what is happening?
Oops, sorry.
I followed your link, a search in this forum for "Publication of Windows Movie Maker error" and came up with a net with this linkhttp://www.bernzilla.com/item.php?id=884 follow the instructions and it doesn't work, so I followed the directions again and this time no selected

Problems with Windows Movie Maker: video/Audio, cut and cutting
I recently did some videos, but there was this thing really annoying happening in the middle of the video. Okay, let's say I put together all the clips in Windows Movie Maker for my taste, and it's how I wanted it to be. I saw it and then suddenly in the middle of the video the sound shuts down or freezes the clip or it will just empty. I have not been able to solve and so I can't do more videos without him just hide or cut.
Please help, I need to make a video for a deadline but nothing I try suddenly freezes or cuts in a specific clip. How is what is happening and what can I do to stop it. I've accidentally done something or it just freezes.
Thanks, I need all the help I can get!
I use Windows Vista. And this has only been produced recently, that my previous videos have been very well.
Well well... once again, without success. The same thing happens, it freezes in the middle of the clip. I get the FLV file by orbit actually, but I don't know who is a hoarder of corrupted file. What should I do?

Error: 0 x 80280006 when installing Windows Movie Maker 2.6

Windows Movie maker 2.6, is NOT a "new and improved" program
On the contrary, the 2.6 version is just a "watered-down" version It is used for some Vista computers that are unable to support its native version of 6.0 integrated which, in my opinion, is the best version of Windows Movie Maker.
2.6 is compatible with Windows 7, but why waste your time when Win 7 can have Windows Live Movie Maker that is intended for Windows 7?
Please don't waste your time at the 2.6version facility.

Windows Movie Maker plays the slow song about 5-10 seconds
I have not used Movie Maker in about three months and it used to work properly. But I just started using it again and when I go somewhere in the middle of the video, I'm trying to make, securities and boot images in the right place, but the sound starts about 5-10 seconds too early. When I start from the beginning, everything is ok, but as it is a five-minute song, I don't want to start again whenever I need to add or change something. How can I fix? I tried to use different songs and I opened and closed Windows Movie Maker. Any help is appreciated.
How would I do that? I get my music from Itunes.

Windows Movie Maker - my WMV clips will show not in preview, but I can hear them.
I do a film and that I imported a few clips .wmv. I can't see one of the clips in the preview, but the audio for these files works fine. I just see a black screen when the clips are displayed. I imported these files from my Sony Handycam. I have converted the .wmv files before import into Movie Maker. Thanks for any help you can provide!
What type of converter would you suggest, and where would download it? I converted just inside the program that came with my camcorder and the only option was to save like .wmv. Should I try converting to a different file type next time?
Thank you!

Windows Movie Maker is important video imcompletely (only five seconds to hour long video)
I tried to import this hour long video in windows movie maker, and the result is that only five seconds of the video is imported. I tried over and over again, but still five seconds of the video is imported. I have searched the Internet for answers, but impossible to find a single solution to all but one of this forum that leads to a page for the Director in windows vista, which certainly does not help. Any help on this situation would be greatly appreciated. If it helps, I am running Service Pack 2 for Windows XP Home 32-bit Edition.
The extension is (.mpg). I've just updated to Service Pack 3, but the problem is still persistent... Right, the Windows Movie Maker version is 5.1, if it helps.

Problem with the sync audio to video when you use Windows Movie Maker version 6.0
I have a HP Slimline Pavillion S.3220.uk PC, using Windows Vista Edition Home Premium. I have problems with the audio video synchronization when using Windows Movie Maker, version 6.0, I 'get' raw AVCHD files to .wmv using voltaic HD. I've noticed that the audio and video are out of sync, ONLY after the first thumbnail. No indirect problem with videos, but when people talk to the camera, in case of DISASTER, as he is out of sync. I tried to reduce the resolution of 720 p and 540 p, and no solution to the problem. Any thoughts on the matter please?
Hi Fabian119,
Today, there are hundreds of audio and video codecs in use. Some were created by Microsoft, but the vast majority of codecs have been created by other companies, organizations or individuals. By default, the Windows operating system and the player includes a number of the most popular codecs, such as MP3, Windows Media Audio and Windows Media Video.
There might be times, however, when you want to read the content that is compressed with a codec that does not include Windows or the default player (for example, a file compressed with the DivX video codec or the Ogg Vorbis audio codec). Because the player is extensible, in many cases you can download the necessary codec on the web for free or for a fee.
You can visit the following links for more information on codecs:
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/codecs-frequently-asked-questions
You can also view the following link to download the audio file conversion programs and check if you can convert AVCHD to Mpeg.

Windows Movie Maker stops working after importing video MP4
I am running Movie Maker version 6 and Windows Vista Home Premium. I imported my videos my camcorder Flip Ultra HD from Sony MP4. The clips will play in preview pane and I can edit in the timeline or storyboard table. However, after about 5 minutes of use Moviemaker stops working for no apparent reason.
