  I have some data entry forms based on a datagrid control.  Users typically use the keyboard navigation (tab, enter, etc.) when you fill in the data in the cells.  According to various criteria, some cells may not need to be filled.   I don't competely disable them... just make them ignored in the navigation to the default keyboard.

  In other words, I want to make these fields 'disabled' with a silver background (no problem here) and I want to that they be ignored when navigating by keyboard.  However, I want them to be able to enter data into these fields if they specifically click on it with the mouse (essentially a substitution).

  Make sense?  This sounds like a requirement unusual and potentially difficult to implement.  Hoping someone here can tell me how it's going to be easy

  Any suggestions it if possible and maybe some tips?

  For the regular DG, you are supposed to call preventDefault on ITEM_EDIT_BEGINNING and editedItemPosition to a new position of the cell.  I think that works for ADG, but I could be wrong.

  Here's a question that we faced for some time with a colleague of mine and after looking for some info on the forums and doing some tests,
  We are still not sure about our conclusion.
  
  Here's the deal: supposed we have a PERSON table with, among other things, a column that stores the last date of update. We define an INSERT trigger and update on this table. On each insert / update of operation, the trigger maintains the last date of update to date.
  
  Through the EntityManager of Toplink, we recovered a PERSON POJO that is mapped to a record in the database. Suppose that we make changes to this PERSON object, when the trigger fires?
  
  -Commit?
  -On the flush?
  -Both (a little would be illogical, I guess)?

  When a trigger is executed is more a question of a matter of TopLink/JPA DBA and depends on how you set up the trigger. While it is perhaps possible to implement your trigger must be performed when the postings of transactions (I'm not sure), an insert trigger is fired when the database receives an insert statement.   When I open about 15 sites in firefox 6.0 and 6.0.1 with Morning coffee add-on version 1.35 there not too slow to browse all the it takes about 30 min or more some time never load sites
  but when I do in firefox 5, 5.0.1, or 3. XX is the browsing speed is good and take about 2-3 minutes to completely cover each of them.
  I think that there is a problem with several tab navigation in firefox 6 or maybe a security that allows to slow to browse many sites.

  Could you please give the solution for the error table mutation during the use of triggers. I'll give you the simple scenario here,

  I created a trigger on the employees table, whenever all DML operations takes place in the employees table, it must run the trigger body. I intentionally used also of the employees in the body of the trigger table. Please give me the solution.

  Triggering factor:

  DML statement:

  Update employees set salary = 20000 where job_id = "AD_PRES" (I run this query)

  Error message:

  ORA-04091: table HR. Is the transfer of EMPLOYEES, the function of triggering/can not see

  ORA-06512: at "HR. TEST_TRIGGER', line 4

  ORA-04088: error during execution of trigger ' HR. TEST_TRIGGER'

  Can anyone tell, in what other scenarios, we get this error or recursive table mutation?

  When you create a trigger on a table, you cannot edit/query this table the trigger is not completed.

  You can use

  (1) transaction of Pragma autonomous

  (2) instead of row-level trigger, you have statement-level trigger

  (3) to 11 g, try with COMPOSITE trigger

  Try below to avoid it (a solution):

  create or replace trigger test_trigger

  before you insert or update or delete employees

  for each line

  declare

  PRAGMA AUTONOMOUS_TRANSACTION;

  an employees.first_name%type;

  Start

• Muse menu jumps upward and in place when navigating

  Muse on a simple website using http://whitehorseedgworth.co.UK/ and I have a problem with the menu bar, it seems to jump then go back to the correct position when clicking / navigate to another page.

  The menu consists of a menu widget, then a horizontal bar that is full-width.  They aren't grouped or pinned.  I tried everything off and re design, but it does not change.  I changed the header margin to below the menu bar, and it does not change.  I tried to combine the two and it does not change.  Previously, the menu has been grouped and pinned up using a scroll effect, but I removed this feature as he struggled with responses when filling a form.  Can anyone help please?  Thank you very much

  I agree, seems to be something in the master page is causing this issue. I advise you to check follow as well:

  1. check if any element in the master page still has active scroll effect. If yes then turn it on and get a preview of the site in the browser to file > Site overview in the browser.

  2. If you have used an external code (embed code) then please make sure that there is no syntax error.

  3. delete the code and preview of the site in the browser and check if it works very well.

  4. If you used any third party widget in the master page and then remove them one by one and site Preview in the browser to the jumping stops.

  If the problem persists, then I would watch the .muse file.

  I have a PDF with two embedded videos. The document is created in InDesign CS5.5 and output as an interactive PDF.

  However, I have two problems with the videos:

  1. If I pause a video to watch it halfway through and then go to another page and then return to the video page, the reading head is always suspended when he left. However, I would like that, so that the video will always return to the first frame when loading the page. Can someone help me with a way to get there?

  If your video annot is set to 'Disable closing page' then it resets whenever you navigate away and vice versa. Change it with a right click / Properties.

  The default property in Acrobat is only to disable the video when the user chooses to do so - this keeps the position if they sail around, and this is intentional (find your position in a long video is a real pain!). If they press STOP instead of BREAK, they return of course initially.

  Setting the video to disable close on page, will present a delay during the navigation. Keep this in mind it can be annoying for users.

  As for the superposition of artifacts on the screen caused by active content on other pages, Yes, it's a known - but I can't say more than that.

• Stop audio when navigating

  I work in Captivate 5. I have the narrative on each slide and I disabled the playback bar for some very basic navigation buttons. My problem is when the learner clicks to go to the next slide (before the end of the audio on the current slide play), he continues to play when they get to the next slide.

  I don't know if there is a setting that I can change, but if there isn't, I guess that I add several variables to my forward and back buttons so that they stop also the audio on the current slide.   So in Flex 4, I have a DropDownList control that (according to a variable previously defined in the application) will trigger an alert via a handler function. The alert is fine, but the DropDownList control does not close. What's worse, is that when I navigate away from the view with the DropDownList control always open, that the choice of the DropDownList control are always visible and active, even if the DropDownList control is not on the active screen.

  I tried in the same function of Manager, both until after the alert is triggered, to set the selectedindex of the DropDownList control to-1, and I tried myDropDownList.close, but to no avail.

  A solution would be to store your values to pageFlowScope. By doing this, your variables are going to be alive and with the same values as long as you are inside your stubborn workflow. For example,.

  You can create your Java Bean and have something like:

  String Variable1;
  String variable2;
  String variable3;
  String variable4;

  setters and getters for those.

  In your values in the inputText fragments would be #{pageFlowScope.myBean.variable1.inputValue} and so on.

  Since your bean is created once when creating your workflow (choose pageFlowScope) your variables will remain the same as your living taskflow.
