When using Facebook in Firefox (does not happen with IE), any time I click to see the previous comments to a post or to play a video of inbedded, the question appears asking "are you sure you want to exit this page. Any ideas?
The problem only occurs with Firefox. Answer 'Yes' to the question box is that open Facebook in another tab where the problem persists.
Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the Add-ons is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Modules > themes).
- Makes no changes on the start safe mode window.

How to prevent the prompt "are you sure you want to exit this page?" on Facebook?
I use Firefox 35.0.1. If I do a post on my Facebook timeline that contains a link, when I type 'Post' and the page will refresh to add my post on my calendar, it asks if I don't know that I want to leave the page. I see messages on some sites before, for example, if I'm on a forum and I write a post and go to leave the page before submitting, it asks me that, but I never saw him on Facebook a few days previously.
Is it possible to disable this message? Or better yet, can it be turned off just on Facebook? Thank you.
Hi DJSigma, to my knowledge you can only disable this behavior in the world: enter Subject: config in the bar firefox address (confirm the message information where it appears) & search for the preference named dom.disable_beforeunload. Double-click it and change its value to true.

Norton 360 on my computer identifies this file as c:\windows\system32\muweb.dll, Version 7.6.7600.256, Microsoft Update Web Control. Why should I install this file, if it is a real file everytime I open Microsoft Update? Is not install that once is enough to still be log-ons on Microsoft Update?
Yes, it's legitimate.

Since I upgraded to El Capitan, when I launch Safari, my fan is running hot, CPU goes into battery and use 100% drops quickly. This does NOT happen with Firefox.
Force Quit Safari and then restart Safari while holding down the SHIFT key. This will launch Safari without plugins or extensions. If works in Safari you have to remove all extensions you have installed and reinstall better one at a time until you find the offending Safari extension.

How can I get a previous version of Firefox. 17 Firefox does not work with banking online edit
Similarly I cannot now (with v 17) start a download from a Web site to Quicken. At least it seems with four different financial institutions, I've tried. Each of them worked before version 17. I am now on 17.0.1 so that does not solve the problem.

Firefox does not load with a certain wifi
So I have this problem, Firefox does not load when I connect with a wifi but when I change my connection to different wifi, that's going to walk again.
even if the first wifi works fine on my computer because I can connect to the internet with another browser. Many programs can "phone home" for the updates and such.
These work yet?Type of topic: preferences #advanced< enter > in the address bar.
Under Advanced, select network.
Search for configure how Firefox connects and then press the settings button.
If you use a proxy server, make sure that these settings are correct. If there is no
proxy, first use No. Proxy. If there is a problem, then try Proxy system. Some problems occurs when your Internet security program has been implemented.
trust the previous version of Firefox, but not more acknowledges your
update as being approved. Now how do I solve the problem: to allow
Firefox to connect to the Internet- Make sure your Internet security software is up-to-date (for example, you are using the latest version).

Why Firefox does not work with Hotmail more?
Hotmail opens but I can't click on anything whatsoever, can not open e-mails or open folders.
Hello
Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily disables hardware acceleration, restores some settings and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).
If Firefox is open, you can restart Firefox Safe mode in the Help menu:
- Click on the menu button , click Help , and then select restart with disabled modules.
If Firefox does not work, you can start Firefox in Mode safe as follows:
- On Windows: Hold down the SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
- On Mac: Hold the option key during the startup of Firefox.
- On Linux: Exit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox-safe-mode
(you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)
When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "start mode safe."
If the problem is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, theme or hardware acceleration. Please follow the steps described in the section Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems to find the cause.
To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.
If Safe Mode did not help, delete all references to Hotmail, as described under the heading "How to remove a single website to my story?" in this article - delete navigation, search and download history on Firefox, then try again the site (not related to an old favorite). Note: It may take a few minutes to complete the removal.
When find you what is causing your problems, please let us know. This might help others with the same problem. Thank you!

Yesterday, Firefox does not open. It hangs at the "stage of connection." For hours. It doesn't even turn off using the Manager of tasks for applications or processes, and it hangs almost all other applications. I thought that I managed to save a Word document opened yesterday - it looked like a slow, but normal save during the shot of Firefox, but the document was empty when I restarted my computer.
Although my machine is not pentium 4 in service, I tried to start by using the configuration of Windows XP/M, I downloaded and re-installed (above) the existing version, I checked that no process of Mozilla turned before trying to start Mozilla and tried to create a new profile. Absolutely no success. Every time (dozens), I tried to start Firefox, I had to force a difficult to exit the application shutdown. I now have this marking Firefox in my taskbar, because I keep forgetting and hit by reflex.
I am running version 11.0 (at least that's what I just downloaded - I am not positive of what I was running yesterday). My system is Windows 7 Home Premium, Intel Core i3 2.4 gHz, 4 GB of RAM, 64 bit OS.
Next option is to restore to an earlier version. If this does not work, I uninstall and start again from scratch.
I disabled AVG (antivirus free 2012) for 10 minutes, open Firefox and browsed a bit. Close the browser, whereas the temporarily disabled AVG activated itself again and restarted Firefox. Now, it connects perfectly - several times faster than prior to this incident (I have installed v 12.0; previous version was 11.0). I use the Microsoft Firewall, if while the firewall solution suggested above has not worked, he put me on the right track.
