Hello

1. what operating system is installed on the computer?

2. which device is configured to wake the computer?

Case 1:

Windows Update problem:

Step 1:

After the system restore is complete, you will be asked to reinstall the update of Windows, install the updates one by one and see update is at the origin of the conflict.

Step 2:
I suggest to uninstall the updates which is at the origin of the conflict from the computer and check if the same problem occurs:
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/remove-an-update

Step 3:

Once you uninstall the updates, go to this link, download updates and try to install it manually and check, type the number in the search box and press ENTER:

I'm not a pro at Oracle XE, but I would say that this is not a problem of SQL * Developer, but the listener of OracleXE.
Now, I'm in total guessing game mode:
find the "listener.ora" file in your Oracle installation (from [url http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E17781_01/server.112/e18804/network.htm#ADMQS168] this document is c:\oraclexe\app\oracle\product\11.2.0\server\NETWORK\ADMIN\listener.ora

I use windows XP Home Edition. It takes awhile to start when I turn on the computer. How can I speed up this process?

    original title: slow start
    • Faster processor.
    • Fastest hard drive.
    • Faster or more RAM/memory.
    • Less things loading at startup.
    • Appropriate and the most recent hardware device drivers.

In XP, you can cleanup and optimize it in some way, by using the following tips:

    Search for malware:

Download, install, execute, update and perform analyses complete system with the two following applications:

Remove anything they find.  Reboot when necessary.  (You can uninstall one or both when finished.)

Search online with eSet Online Scanner.

The less you have to run all the time, most things you want to run will perform:

Use Autoruns to understand this all starts when your computer's / when you log in.  Look for whatever it is you do not know using Google (or ask here.)  You can hopefully figure out if there are things from when your computer does (or connect) you don't not need and then configure them (through their own built-in mechanisms is the preferred method) so they do not - start using your resources without reason.

You can download and use Process Explorer to see exactly what is taking your time processor/CPU and memory.  This can help you to identify applications that you might want to consider alternatives for and get rid of all together.

Do a house cleaning and the dust of this hard drive:

You can free up disk space (will also help get rid of the things that you do not use) through the following steps:

Windows XP should take between 4.5 and 9 GB * with * an Office suite, editing Photo software, alternative Internet browser (s), various Internet plugins and a host of other things installed.

You can disable hibernation if it is enabled and you do not...

When you Hibernate your computer, Windows saves the contents of the system memory in the hiberfil.sys file. As a result, the size of the hiberfil.sys file will always be equal to the amount of physical memory in your system. If you don't use the Hibernate feature and want to reclaim the space used by Windows for the hiberfil.sys file, perform the following steps:

-Start the Control Panel Power Options applet (go to start, settings, Control Panel, and then click Power Options).
-Select the Hibernate tab, uncheck "Activate the hibernation", and then click OK. Although you might think otherwise, selecting never under "Hibernate" option on the power management tab does not delete the hiberfil.sys file.
-Windows remove the "Hibernate" option on the power management tab and delete the hiberfil.sys file.

You can control the amount of space your system restore can use...

    1. Click Start, right click my computer and then click Properties.
    2. click on the System Restore tab.
    3. highlight one of your readers (or C: If you only) and click on the button "settings".
4 change the percentage of disk space you want to allow... I suggest moving the slider until you have about 1 GB (1024 MB or close to that...)
    5. click on OK. Then click OK again.

You can control the amount of space used may or may not temporary Internet files...

Empty the temporary Internet files and reduce the size, that it stores a size between 64 MB and 128 MB...

-Open a copy of Microsoft Internet Explorer.
    -Select TOOLS - Internet Options.
-On the general tab in the section 'Temporary Internet files', follow these steps:
-Click on 'Delete the Cookies' (click OK)
-Click on "Settings" and change the "amount of disk space to use: ' something between 64 MB and 128 MB. (There may be many more now.)
    -Click OK.
-Click on 'Delete files', then select "Delete all offline content" (the box), and then click OK. (If you had a LOT, it can take 2 to 10 minutes or more).
-Once it's done, click OK, close Internet Explorer, open Internet Explorer.

After windows updated my computer, my laserjet6MP will not print.  When I click on print, an error message appears indicating that there is an error in printing.  When I checked for error it says there is a job prevents printing to the printer, but there is no jobs in the queue.

When turned on the computer it says - Error loading C:\WINDOWS\aluzonah.dll - specific module is not found - the computer seems to work very well however.

A Google search for this returned no success other than your own message.  This suggests that the file refers to malicious software.

You have a recent version of an antivirus with a current subscription application?  Have never leave you the subscription expires?

Startup like these messages can occur if your antimalware application has deleted the payload real malware but has failed to clean up the start of the call.

First download, install, update and run the following applications of malware free 2 the possibility that one or the other will detect and remove these remains (as well as anything else that your original scan could not detect):

    Malwarebytes

    SUPERAntiSpyware

If these two applications running is not the message disappears, you will need to know where the call to the missing dll file is now done.  The best tool for this is AutoRuns:http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx the main problem with the help of AutoRuns is that he finds the startup items as much as it can be a little overwhelming. One of the good features of AutoRuns is that you can prevent an element of commissioning by unchecking the box, but if you decide that you really want to start, just re-check the box.  Once you are sure that you will never need of the item to start, remove it.

Typical advice is to check the logon tab, but because the now-absent file is a dll, it is not likely to appear online in the logon tab.  Yet, take a look at the connection tab and if aluzonah.dll is there, or if there is a line of starting an application of suspect search, a Google search suggests is malware, uncheck the box and restart.  If the entry is far, re - run AutoRuns and remove the line.

The next place to look is the Winlogon tab, which should have little, or no, entries.

If you have not yet found the wrong entry, click the all tab, click the top row and then click on file > find and search for aluzonah.dll.  If you find an instance, uncheck the box and then manually move the selection on the following bottom line then press F3 to "search again".

  • evreytime, I opened the windows update the sistem says that the service is not runing what can do?

I have a windows Vista Home Basic in my pc, so I can't update it cause when I click search for updates, it says windows cannot check the updates because the service is not running

    Hi joselizama,

    1. Did you the latest changes on the computer?
    2. What is the full error message that you receive?
    3. You have security software installed on the computer?
    4. When was the last time it was working fine?

    Method 1

I suggest that you restart all services related to Windows update and check later if you can install the updates of Windows on the computer.

To restart services required by Windows Update

You must be logged on as administrator to perform these steps.

    1. Open administrative tools by clicking the Start button, click Control Panel, clicking system and Maintenance, and then clicking Administrative Tools.
    2. Double-click Services. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    3. In the Services window, double-click in the Background Intelligent Transfer Service.
    4. Under the tab general , under Startup type, click Manual, and then click apply.
    5. Click the connection tab and make sure that the service is enabled in every hardware profile listed.
    6. Click the general tab, click Start, and then click OK. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    7. In the Services window, double-click Windows event log.
    8. Under the tab general , next to Startup type, make sure that Automatic is selected.
    9. Next to Service status, check whether the service is started. If not, click Start, and then click OK. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    10. In the Services window, double-click the Windows Update service.
    11. Under the tab general , next to Startup type, make sure that Automatic is selected.
    12. Next to Service status, check if the drive is listed. If not, click Start, and then click OK. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    13. In the Services window, double-click software licensing.
    14. Under the tab general , next to Startup type, make sure that Automatic is selected.
    15. Next to Service status, check if the drive is listed. If not, click Start, and then click OK. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    16. Close the Services window and try to install Windows updates again.

    Method 2

If the previous step fails then I would suggest that reset you the default Windows Update components and later try to install updates.

    ·         Did you the latest changes on the computer?

    ·         How long have you been experiencing this problem?

    ·         What exactly is the computer or the mouse gel?

Search for the error message for the updates that have failed to be updated.

To check the update fails, follow the steps:

Click Start > all programs > windows update > view update history

I suggest you try the methods mentioned below and check if it helps.

Method 1: Put the computer in a clean boot State before proceeding with the installation of windows update.

Note: After installing windows update, follow step 7 in the link provided to return the computer to a Normal startupmode.

Method 2: Temporarily disable the security software.

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.
