When you start a Vista computer, send a message that MSVCP71.dll is missing

Hello

When I started my computer, I got a window to open up and say that Avast! could not be started because MSVCP71.dll not found. I had Avast! installed on this computer for about 6 months now and never had a problem. My characteristics of the computer. are:

Windows Vista Edition Home Premium 64-bit
Service Pack 2
A6750y HP
AMD Phenom 9650 Quad-Core 2.30 GHz
8 GB RAM

Any help is really appreciated. Thank you.

Uninstall/reinstall Avast.

Disable Avast first > right-click on its icon in the notice area > Stop On-access Protection.

Go to Control Panel programs and features > uninstall.

http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html

Download and reinstall the update.

See you soon.
