When you use a specific search engine, clicking on a result goes to a website unwanted XP

If I use a (google, bing, yahoo) search engine, then click on a result, I am led to another site. (ie. tavelocity.com goes to escape wizard.com...) Already scanned with essentials and microsoft security scanning. Nothing has been found.

  • RoboHelp Server 8 shows Blank Page when you go to the search engine

    Here's my problem.

    I have 6 projects between 2 regions on our RoboHelp Server 8.  I have

    never no problem posting to the server, our IT Department had no server, including configuration problem

    installation of Tomcat.  We have changed the port so it would go on the http default, 80 port.  Everything worked fine until this morning.  When you go to the link that is used to run in the search engine (i.e. name http://server/robohelp/serveur: ports? project prj = name & area = areaname), rather than the redirect page we get normally, get us a blank white page that shows in the status bar.  Our COMPUTER service attempted to restart the server, has not fixed the problem, they tried to restart the services (Tomcat and the RoboEngine), has not fixed the problem.  I tried to connect to the server via the RoboHelp development interface and get a connection to the server has no error. connection error.gif I checked the Webhelp Pro editing interface, which is what we use and all settings are correct. publish error.gif When I try to refresh the area get the impossible to get the list of the area of the server.  We can access projects as if what we use Webhelp.  We would use regular Webhelp but us isn't good because then there is no reporting functions because it is not executed in the search engine.

    When I'm well the Web administration Interface and you're trying to look at the section of the project that we get a server is refreshing to project data, try again later.  It's the same mistake that we received all day.  admin error.gif I'm now stuck and don't know what to do or try.  Between myself and my IT dept, we have tried everything we can think of.

    Just another treat so it can be excluded.  I applied the patch to my copy of RoboHelp 8.0.2 patch.  And since I am the only developer at this time, is not the issue.

    I have not tried to remove the shape of the server project, because

    has. I can't see them in the projects pane, so I can't delete them and

    b. I can not connect to the server of the re - publish.

    A Counsellor in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Ian,

    Did you change the property of "re-indexing" in your robohelp_server.properties file that I suggested to you in the email that I sent you?

    You must change the property of "re-indexing' to 'false' in the file robohelp_server.properties in the folder 'WEB - INF' in the RoboHelp Server installation folder, and then restart your server. I think that should solve your problem.

  • Reader 9.3.2 crashes when you use the bookmarks search & close pane

    I have some PDF files created using the Bookmarks pane left unresolved - that is to say the Bookmarks pane is open whenever I open the file. This means that the display of the actual page is too small to read.  I can close the Favorites bar and everything is OK.

    However, I use the index search function a lot - I have an .idx indexing file a bunch of PDF files, and I have search in PDF files with this index.

    If I search something, then select a search link, the file opens with the shutter open bookmarks.  If I close the Bookmarks pane after searching a something * kaboom *.  Player crashes.

    BTW, it also blocks if I resize the window - so I can't even increase the size of the page without closing the Bookmarks pane.

    I'll see if a co-worker can use his copy of Acrobat Pro to edit the files, close the Bookmarks pane and re-save the files.  But in the meantime, this is a very annoying bug.

    Works on Vista Home Premium SP2 32-bit.

    Open the drive, go to Edition-->--> Documents Preferences and select "Restore last display settings when reopening documents."

    So now when you reopen the PDF with bookmarks bar you have closed earlier after checking this option, you will see the bookmarks bar is closed.

    Unfortunately, this accident involves your Norton software. Perhaps it checks links in Google results to see if they are trustworthy?

    Can you go to the Add-ons page and see if you can disable temporarily check links to see if that helps. Either:

    • CTRL + SHIFT + a
    • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

    In the left column, click Extensions. Then locate the Norton Toolbar and a button for Options see if you can change the way it works. If all else fails, try turning it off for a few hours (Firefox can show a link to restart if necessary to disable the extension).

    I just upgraded my 10.1.3.5 at 11.1.1.7 ODI and has encountered some problems.  When I run one of the interface with the 'Local (agentless)' (via ODI studio Designer in which the ODI software is installed, say Server A), it can complete successfully without error.  But if I run the same interface with specific agent (also via ODI studio Designer in Server A), it will fail.  In fact this specific agent I is also located in Server A.  The error message is as below:

    Since seems can't find the json.jar file (actually it away under % ODI_HOME %), I tried to include the middleware library path (C:\Oracle\Middleware\EPMSystem11R1\common\misc\11.1.2.0), which has the json.jar in the ODI_ADDITIONAL_CLASSPATH in the file odiparams.bat in the folder and restart the agent.  Then the error message is modified as below:

    Hi mrt181, it is planned to use the same search engine as in firefox - however, there is a bug at the moment, so it does not apply in all situations.

    I think that Safari has the same keyboard shortcut in Firefox 'cmd + F' on a Mac or a 'Ctrl + F' on Windows.

    Look in the lower left corner to find. There are more likely to be next and previous differences in keyboard shortcuts, but continuing in the search bar at the bottom no matter what browser you use. It is an 'X' to reject the search bar. In Windows, the "Esc" key will reject the bar if you are in the search text entry box.

    Sounds very similar to what I had come last week. I did not now what the site was, but I noticed that the box seems to be analysis what were the Windows system files, it could not have been real. I do not download anything either, and I think that if you have not then you are probably safe. I am far from being an expert in the field and am sure that someone with more expertise will also. I learned that the best thing to do is vacuum history of cache, cookies and remove and close the browser. Don't try not even close the box that I have read. I don't know if I did or not. I think that there is some nasty things circulating right now try to deceive us in their installation on our Macs. I agree that it's a very scary experience.     My iMac started having continuously the turning wheel.  From what I can tell, it's mostly when using Safari.  Lasts for a few seconds, sometimes longer.  When you use Google Chrome, it seems not to happen.  I want to just make sure that it isn't something serious.
