Original title: nlsphelp.exe

Whenever I have shut down my system, I get an error box "nlsphelp.exe". What can be done to fix this?

Now you or you already had versions of SQL Server installed on your system of unspecified of brand and model with the unspecified XP version and Service Pack?

If not, it may belong to a third-party application you have installed or it might be some something remains either of something that you have uninstalled before this incident.

If you are not sure whether you need it or not, click Start, run and enter in the box:

services.msc

Click OK to open the Services Applet and locate the assistance of NetLib SQL Service Pack Service, right click, properties and after making a note of the current startup type, set the startup type to "Disabled", reboot, run for a while and see how things work without it.

If you find things that don't work without it running, set the startup type to what it was before and pick up another idea.

Is it your desire, you can also delete the Service completely so that you will never see it again.

    Hi K - Ann,

Thank you for the above information.

I followed you instruction to back up the registry keys, but when I followed step number 7. Navigate to the location and look for the name of the file with the .reg extension and click Open, the message of answers that I received from the registry editor has been as follows: -.

Impossible to import C:\Documents and Settings\Compaq_Owner\My Documents\My Backup\Backup260910.reg of register: not all data was successfully written to the registry.  Some keys are open by the system or my other processes.

So I closed my computer and restarted. I then followed your instructions again (this time save the backup of the registry to a member in the same library, called "Backup260910bkup"

Yet once, when I followed the number of the step 7. Navigate to the location and look for the name of the file with the .reg extension and click Open, the message of answers that I received from the registry editor has been as follows: -.

Impossible to import C:\Documents and Settings\Compaq_Owner\My Documents\My Backup\Backup260910bkup.reg of register: not all data was successfully written to the registry.  Some keys are open by the system or my other processes.

Can you tell me what I need to do to work around this problem of backup of the registry?

I look forward to receiving your response.

    Thank you

    Neil Clark.

  • Whenever I have shut down my computer I comnnection in bulk for my printers and having to reconnect again when I start-up

I have two printers (HP G85 & Konica Minolta 2500W magicvolor) on a small business connected by ethernet network and other cable series. The network server is managed by Windows XP Pro V2002 SP3I and I have access to the network through one of the two laptops Toshiba Tecra to operate Windows Vista Business SP1. My problem only occurs on one of the laptops (the other works fine). The problem is not always consistent and often causes different symptoms.

When starting the printer seems to be online and connected, however when I send a print to the system command accepts the order (or nothing at all), but the print window displays an error message after a few minutes. When I check the printer proerties sometimes I'm not able to display the port information at all. I have to cancel the print order, remove the printer from the network and 'Add printer' again. I send the print command and the printer now prints. Sometimes the print command works normally and sometimes, it takes a long time to print and the printer very very time consuming to complete the task from start to finish.

Now, I have added the printer once again I lose the connection again when I shut down the computer and must go through the same drama when I start again. The problem is that with a single computer.
