Where are my spfile, arch, cntrl files?

Hi all

11.2.0.3

AIX 6

I run the parameters for RMAN:

CONFIGURE CONTROLFILE AUTOBACKUP ON;

compressed backup backupset database more archivelog;

Next, I check my output to FRA/backupset. But I don't see that two (2) files:

> ls-l

Total 2501424

-rw - 1 oracle dba 1588736 Jun 09 19:12 o1_mf_annnn_TAG20140609T181631_9sc2czcy_.bkp

Where are the spfile, archivelogs, cntrl files located?

Thank you all,

    Hi, Rumail
Windows Vista system icons are stored in 'C:\Windows\system32\imageres.dll '. HOWEVER, because these are stored in a .dll file you can access them except through the programs, they have been made. (in other words, you cannot copy them)

    Hi Anthony,.

So, where are the files stored? When I see "offline", find the files somewhere on my hard drive?

Yes, it depends on where you save: Adobe Story help | Save scripts

Also, why do projects appear in the directory of Creative Cloud Files as my hearing and other project files online?

You can save here manually (refer to the documentation I linked to you).

Historically, history projects have been saved on the servers Adobe Story, which were in place before the creative cloud has been in existence. I don't know if the Adobe Story servers information will be migrated to creative or not at the moment cloud servers. I'm sorry.

It sounds like a good idea, however. You can share this idea with the team of Adobe Story here: [email protected]

    Thank you

  • where are stored the downloaded pdf files?

Often, in order to make things more simple and intuitive developers make things more difficult and less intuitive. In older operating systems I releid vessels on the search. Now search functions are simply not useful and effective and they are difficult to understand, so I now often lose where my files are located. I often download the pdf files from various websites. Where are these files stored? Some of these files are very important to me. I find it very expensive for always to remember to save it to a particular directory. Generally, I don't think like that. I think that generally as to the date I got things. I work very chronological. Gtetting back to my question, where are these file stored. I find it strange that I can download a file and when I search this exact file even my system can't find it. Something is not properly designed. Why hide these files?

Try to download all research.  Looking for a sound much faster and more complete than Windows.

  • Where are the 3rd party application files stored?

When I install an application "Hello World" simple on my BB device, is the *.cod extracted in the hierarchy of the original file of the classes?

If so, where are the class files physically stored? How can I find out the absolute path of this application? I can browse its files?

Also, is stored on the flash memory, NV store, or on the SD card?

You will not be able to find the class files associated with your cod.

I think you are trying to create a class file, you can run dynamically.  You'll never be able to do it, at least not with the current JVM.

    Please ask only once.

  • Where are the ARCHIVES, SENT, DRAFTS, files? Not in the profile/mail

Try to pass my profile to a new computer. ARCHIVE, DRAFTS, SENT, have thousands of emails, but are not in the folder/Mail / / Profile. So where are they hidden, and how to get them in the new computer? What a Royal PIA. Spent almost all the day blow up with this process.

Just do not post in this forum in a day or two you are difficult to move your profile because you have it in fragments with absolute path names. You choose to use absolute paths to store your data, you're on your own.

Oh my mistake you already did that. Three questions in two days around this decision you have made and then forgotten.

  • Satellite L650 - where are located the Office Setup files

    Hey there

I have a problem with office 2007 on my L650 and need to locate the files of configuration/cabins to rerun the Setup program.

Anyone have any ideas where the files are?

    See you soon

BTW the prob with Office is when I click on a file to open in office (ie: work.docx) spits out an error saying action valid only for installed products!
Yet, the icon is there and everything is installed, this happened 2 days without apparent reason.

I tried to go directly in MS Office file and initialize the word of the "EXE" and it gave me a memory error output.
Tried to uninstall in Control Panel and still another error came.

in any case if someone can help please.

AFAIK the office is preinstalled on your laptop and you can't restart the installation again it of just a trial version and if you want to have a full version, you need to make a purchase.

In your case, I see only one solution: the device must be reset to the factory settings for Office works again.

  • Where are the .pfb and .pfm files?

I installed Indesign CS3 on an iMac running m & Windows XP Pro, and one - and only one - police disappeared. Century Gothic appeared when I installed CS3 on my PC, but it does not appear on the list of the drop of the police now. The documents that I created on my PC can't "find" police. Naturally, all the documents I created for my business for the past three years has used Century Gothic.

A previous debate mentioned copy .pfb and .pfm files, but I don't know where these files, or if, indeed, it is the answer. Any thoughts?

  • where are all my logical session files stored?

I have logic on my computer and save all my sessions on an external hard drive, but on the hard drive I don't see the icon for the session, no files or anything, as in Pro Tools theres a lot, a lot of files for each session, but not with the logic! just an icon of the session and that's it!

I can't complain, just a logical question works / records in a different way?   It seems easier and more net like this.

When you save a project in logic, you can save it as a file or a package.

If you save as a folder - you can see the directory structure of the file system that you expect.

If you save as a package, the package contains all of the assets of the project.  If you want to see these assets, highlight the package in the finder file, then right click and view the package file. This will show you the files for the session all contained in a nice package file.

  • Where are the installation of Vista on the recovery partition files stored?

Where are the real Vista installation files stored on the recovery partition? If it helps I have a Compaq Presario SR5601UK. They are all stored in a folder or are they distributed? A quick dir at the command prompt, the only way you can access the files :-(, revealed a large amount of .wim files, mainly in "preload", but none on about 100 MB in size. I just assumed that HP uses the real Vista installation process, just gives their graphical front-end and adds some garbage in. If he does not tell everything.

Anon, they all are on partition D: and no, this isn't a hidden Vista copy. It is integrated with the HP software. This is also why you cannot repair Vista unless you have a retail copy. Other you need to perform a restore.

  • Re Mail Yosemite: where are the files of signatures and rules are?

I had to reinstall Yosemite from scratch. I want to import Signatures and rules - without accounts - back-up of the previous installation. What are the names of the files in question and where are they located?

You need locate the folder ~/Library/Mail/V2/MailData/Signatures for your signatures and ~/Library/Mail/V2/MailData/SyncedRules.plist for your rules.

Drag and drop in the same location on your new installation.

    I hope this helps.

  • Where are stored the files ePub & books

In iTunes when I get my iPhone connected there is a section for books. Actually two sections, one on top and the other slot on this device. I understand what is on the device, but where are the other books. Only some of them are checked for synchronized in the phone. Where are him remains stored?

When I go into iTunes/iTunes Media/books I see some of them. Where else can be stored? in iTunes for books, there is no right click to view in the Finder, or delete, in fact it has no context menu at all.

I can check a book or PDF on and it syncs on the phone and appears on the phone, and if I uncheck, it will disappear from the phone, so the file most be somewhere on the Mac. But where is it? The same thing with iBooks. It seems that all iBooks, iTunes, books and PDF sync is a real mess. Books and PDF management is terribly clumsy. I have a lot of obsolete books and a PDF file I want to get rid of, but there seems to be no reasonable way to do it in the OS interface.

Any help would be much appreciate.

EPUB and audio books is now stored and managed in iBooks. Control which must be synchronized to your iDevices is always iTunes.

When this change was made, the first time that you have started iBooks, that he must have asked / told you to migrate all books and PDF documents from iTunes to iBooks. You always have this option in iBooks > file > move books from iTunes...

It's an incredibly confusing system, especially since it is always possible to add files to iTunes.

The current storage location is here, but don't expect it to be easy to use:

    ~/Library/containers/com. Apple.BKAgentService/Data/documents/iBooks/Books
