Where are stored audio files Windows 7 (Windows Live alert sounds, etc.)?

Hello.  I would change one or two of my audio files Windows 7 message alerts (kind of like "You have a message", etc.) and I didn't something like this for a few years and on a latest version of Windows.  Please can someone tell me how and where I store files new sounds and how to install as new alerts?

Thank you.

Hello

Audio files of Windows 7 are found in default C:\Windows\Media .
Follow the steps to edit the audio files of Windows 7.

a: Type change system sounds in the start search box and press ENTER.
b: now click on the right drop-down list and click Browse, and then select the file you want to edit and click on apply.

Hope that helps.

  • Where are stored the files ePub & books

In iTunes when I get my iPhone connected there is a section for books. Actually two sections, one on top and the other slot on this device. I understand what is on the device, but where are the other books. Only some of them are checked for synchronized in the phone. Where are him remains stored?

When I go into iTunes/iTunes Media/books I see some of them. Where else can be stored? in iTunes for books, there is no right click to view in the Finder, or delete, in fact it has no context menu at all.

I can check a book or PDF on and it syncs on the phone and appears on the phone, and if I uncheck, it will disappear from the phone, so the file most be somewhere on the Mac. But where is it? The same thing with iBooks. It seems that all iBooks, iTunes, books and PDF sync is a real mess. Books and PDF management is terribly clumsy. I have a lot of obsolete books and a PDF file I want to get rid of, but there seems to be no reasonable way to do it in the OS interface.

Any help would be much appreciate.

EPUB and audio books is now stored and managed in iBooks. Control which must be synchronized to your iDevices is always iTunes.

When this change was made, the first time that you have started iBooks, that he must have asked / told you to migrate all books and PDF documents from iTunes to iBooks. You always have this option in iBooks > file > move books from iTunes...

It's an incredibly confusing system, especially since it is always possible to add files to iTunes.

The current storage location is here, but don't expect it to be easy to use:

    ~/Library/containers/com. Apple.BKAgentService/Data/documents/iBooks/Books

If you did a custom installation, then the normal location of the Windows Mail folder is hidden folder: C:\Windows.old\Users\\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail\Local files

  • Where are stored the files open, unsaved?

    Details:

    • OS X 10.5.8
    • Photoshop CS4

At the end of several hours-long of one automated process (Contact Sheet II), Photoshop decided error on me as soon as he finished. He has a pop up that says:

"Could not complete your request because of a program error."

It seems that I have to force - quit the application. What is frustrating is 102 files that it generated are sitting just behind this error, but I can't go further - it appears just to the top when I click OK. I really don't want to lock this computer for another day, when the files are there!

If I could find the temporary files on my computer, I would like to quarantine and pick them up on my own. I'm a little surprised that no one seems to have asked this on Google (or maybe the fact that I can't find it).

Where is Photoshop puts its files open, unsaved?

To update, I closed the application and then force re-directed the process. On the plus side, the error not yet arrived.

To use a custom sound when mail is delivered with Microsoft Outlook, Windows Live Mail, Windows Mail and Outlook Express:

    a. Select Control Panel from the Start menu.

    b. make sure you are in Classic view.

    c. double-click on sounds and Audio devices.

    d. go to the sounds tab.

    e. highlight the New mail Notification in the program events list.

    f. Select a sound in the sounds list, or use the Browse button to find a sound not in the list.

    g. click apply and OK.

  • Is there a file where are stored the data pause & rewind live TV in Windows Media Center?

Is there a file where are stored the data pause & rewind live TV in Windows Media Center? More to the point - how can I save the time shift buffer in WMC?

I would like to know if it is possible to find the data that Windows Media Center is to store during her watch TV Online. I don't speak data WMC stores by itself to allow the use of the function of pause & rewind live TV, how to find files that you have saved yourself by pressing the Red record button.

For example, I often live TV playing on the computer in the background while I do something else. Can I see or hear a brief fact/clip/segment of interest that flashes by and I think, ' I wish I had recorded that. " If I go back to the bit I wanted to capture and hit record, it will not capture the part I want, it will start recording from the point, the program has achieved in real time.

Does anyone know where the actual data of the TV are kept so that I can retrieve these clips that interest me, but were never recorded by me manually? I found the "TempRec" in the folder "Recorded TV" - anyone know how to convert this video (if indeed it is the location where you store temporary data for pause & rewind live TV)?

If not, is it possible to enable a feature in WMC, which automatically starts the recording of TV channels as soon as you go to them? This way I can record everything, then just cut all the scenes of interest using Movie Maker. If not, are there other Win7 compatible programs that will do this?

    Thank you.

Apparently, there is a way to achieve the goal.

A nice gentleman from the Germany wrote dll that create a "time-shift buffer recording" add-in for WindowsMedia Center (for Vista and XP only) which can be found at:

    http://thegreenbutton.com/forums/p/3...83.aspx#162083

For Windows 7, there would currently be via a 3rd party of program, i.e. PowerCinema 6, which records from any point in the time shift buffer zone - I don't know why Microsoft has not also incorporated this feature into WMC for have other programs third 3rd (including EyeTV for the Mac).

Unfortunately, suggestions from another forum to change file extensions in .tmp .dvr-ms TempSBE and double-click on the file to read the file of time lag in WMC, does not work in Windows 7 x 64 (the message in this forum has been regarding the Vista x 64), however, I have not tried with other versions of Windows - I would like to know if anyone has had some luck using this method.

Even if it had worked, I think I would have always preferred the usability and features of a program that does the job for me, like Power Cinema - damage, it could not have been WMC. What do you think?

    Thank you.

  • Where are stored the Pick/Unpick/reject flags?

    Hi all

On LR4.0, I went through the process of creating a new catalog and import the Cat 3.6 with the proverbial error at the end of the update, and have worked with this cat in LR4.  I added about 300 new images for that cat 4.0 and have done a few Pick/reject signage and Star ratings.

I just moved to the RC1 LR4.1 and properly put to level my original catalogue of LR3.6 without any error. Now I have added/synchronized my cat LR4.1 RC1 to add up the image folders, I added with the flags of Pick/reject.  I see stars but neither sides Pick/reject flags on these files.  I see the flags on the images that have been updated with the good catalog.

Where are stored the Pick/Unpick/reject flags?  In the catalog only?  In the XMP file?  Both? A Ctrl-S does not seem to make a difference.

Thanks in advance for any comments.

    Tony...

    Catalog only.
