  Items scanned by scanner are stored as Images (usually from the MPEG files) so I would look in the pictures folder. Otherwise if you remember what you call the files when you saved them you could also search for them via Windows Explorer.

  File photo:

  1. open Windows Explorer

  2. look in the folder list on the left side of the Windows Explorer window

  3. Locate the folder of photos

  Search:

  1. open Windows Explorer

  2. place your mouse cursor inside the Windows Explorer search box (upper right side of the Windows Explorer window), and then type the name of the file that you want to search

  3. Windows will now search for the file.

  4. once found, click on the file to open it.

  Photos for Mac doesn't have the option to detect the library even for lack of faces.  All photos will be scanned for faces, when first import you the photos. And this analysis is exhaustive. There is no need to search more faces.

  Faces analysis takes a lot of time. It runs in the background. So it helps to keep the mac running with open pictures for background processing as long as you're not using your MAc.

  I totally agree with PML, you should be able to set up IE and then go to the Windows updates from there, once you get on the Windows Update site it will scan your system and implement critical updates and optional updates SP2 and SP3 should be on the list. It's a way to force an immediate update.

  Found folder gets created only when the disk check corrects errors according to find them. The file will be in the same drive on which the command chkdsk was run. This will be a hidden folder and you need to unhide the to find.
