  In Windows XP, 2000, 2003, user profiles are stored in c:\Documents and Settings. In Windows Vista, the profiles are now stored in c:\Users. You will see a folder c:\Documents and Settings in Windows Explorer in Vista, but you will also notice the shortcut icon on the folder, and you will not be able to access this folder. c:\Documents and Settings is now a junction Point. You can use the random dir command to see where c:\Documents and Settings point to or use the table below.

  The following table lists the old profile path and the new path under Windows Vista.

  Records to take note of here are the folders in the path of all users. Many legacy applications that use outdated methods to solve the system folders, will solve the railways under C:\ProgramData when looking for common places. For example, the joint office can be resolved as C:\ProgramData\Desktop, however; This is actually a point of junction for C:\ProgramData\Users\Public\Desktop. A random entry in the C:\ProgramData folder dir reveals the following Junction Points:

  Here are two things to try:
   
  The file is saved in the Temporary Internet Files folder. To locate the path, open the attachment to new then, and now Alt, press F, and to open the Save as window. In the save window slot, right-click on another file in the list, and then click Properties. On the general tab, copy the full path to the location. Then, open a Windows Explorer window and paste the path copied into the address field. This is where the edited file was saved.
   
  Since Christmas

  Copy this line:

  Search-MS:DisplayName=temp%20Files&crumb=ext%3AZZZ*&crumb=location:shell:cache%5CContent.IE5

  Now press Windows-E, Ctrl-Alt-D-V

  ZZZ change to the extension of the file you edited, and then press enter.

  This should show all the recently saved files in temporary Internet files with this extension. Good luck!

  PS Si the file is, please copy in your documents folder before anything else. Open the copy to work.

  This isn't how it's done.  There is such a file, but customizing the send option in the context menu is a little more complicated that just add entries to this file.  Here is the procedure:http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/67599-send-context-menu.html.  In fact, if you are interested in adding move to a folder or a copy of a folder specifically, the following article may be also useful: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/89196-context-menu-add-copy-folder-move-folder.html (even if it would be any folder and you need browse and select which one you want may not be exactly what you're looking for (although know it may be something you also want to add) but the first article will include the ability to add a folder of) specciic to send it to the menu as well as other programs and just about anything you want).

  Also another clue.  The contextual menu has more options you see when you right click on an element to access.  Try to hold the SHIFT key when right-clicking on an item and you will see an expanded list of options that can include something that willl help you.  It does not the question asked you (the first link above did that), but it is linked and I thought that I have it add in case you weren't aware, and where it is very convenient at a given time.

  I hope this helps (I'm sure it will).  A suggestion - be careful how you add to the context menu.  Not that it has a limit or something like that, but add the more you more it will be difficult to find whatever it is you are really looking for.  It is easy to get carried away and end up with a menu that is so crowded it defeats the purpose to save time with shortcuts.  Try only to add the options that you use often enough that the feature will really help you.

  I had to re - install Windows XP SP1a, from a CD of resettlement came with my Dell laptop. This was done because I upgraded the hard drive. This facility went well. I went to the Windows Update site to try to get the SP2 and SP3. The webiste is said to SP2 until you can do SP3. The only version of SP2, I find on the website says that it is for the professionals and see the link for the Service Pack to the simple version. When I go on this link there is no one version. Do I need to install SP2 before SP3? If Yes, where can I find the Microsoft of SP2 version? In addition, the site says that automatic updates SP2 but I checked my Configuration of the automatic updates and it will not take anything in.   I totally agree with PML, you should be able to set up IE and then go to the Windows updates from there, once you get on the Windows Update site it will scan your system and implement critical updates and optional updates SP2 and SP3 should be on the list. It's a way to force an immediate update.
