  Hallo, I am DESPERATE for help, please.

  I have a Toshiba laptop Satellite A200 series with 32-bit Windows.

  My USB ports give me major problems.

  I use a USB Internet Modem on multiple computers and it works fine on all computers, including Toshiba.

  A month earlier, Internet USB would suddenly and constantly disconnect itself from the Internet, when I use it in the USB one. When I use USB port two, he recorded no more. The port does not have the device.

  I think that it is a problem of USB power.

  The USB 2.0 port provides 500mA, and in some cases more than USB ports can be connected to the same power supply to the motherboard.
  In case the USB device connected (in your case fan) would need more than 500 ma, it could be that other USB devices do not work correctly.
  I recommend you go to Device Manager and select the properties of USB controller.

  The last "Power Management" tab contains the option to turn off the device to save power.
  This option should NOT be checked. It should be disabled.

  So let this next logical step:

  -Obviously, you have mobile Australian model visit the to THE Toshiba support page and NZ
  -Choose laptop > Satellite A200-(PSAE3A)
  -Follow the list with 52 drivers listed, and in the Middle, you'll find some DCIS XP F6 Install Tool

  The creator of disc can be installed using only the Toshiba Recovery CD. The software is a part of the image on the recovery.

  I checked the page Toshiba, Satellite A200-10W belongs to the PSAECE series and so I was able to find only the Vista 64 bit drivers:

  Normally, these drivers are also working on Windows 7, then you should try. Perhaps all will work them and if you have Windows 7 with all the drivers. :)

• Satellite A200-1tw psae6e - USB ports not working not

  I use windows 7 ultimate on Satellite A200-1tw (psae6e-06u030du) and my usb ports no longer works correctly.
  In fact they recognize certain usb devices, but not all (for mouse and printer example work, but my USB does not work)

  Try resetting the USB ports. This means that you need to remove the USB ports/hubs/controllers in Device Manager.
  Then, you have to restart the laptop to get new USB ports.
  In my case it has worked.

  By the way; I recommend upgrading the chipset driver and disable the feature for each energy-saving usb port.
  This can be done in the Device Manager-> port USB-> properties-> tab to save energy

  As far as I know that it belongs to the PSAE0E series, so you must search for Satellite A200 PSAE0E downloads.

  Open start and type Device Manager and then press ENTER, to start Device Manager. Click on the sign + next to "Controllers of Bus USB" and then in the list, you should see some devices called 'USB hub root'. For each one, click right, hit properties, go to the power management tab and uncheck the box "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power." Then restart.
