  I don't know if you use FTP to download the files, however, this error can sometimes refer to a hardware problem. Please try to turn hardware acceleration by clicking on an element using the flash plug-in and selection of parameters.

  It seems rather simple, but maybe I'm missing something (hoping that I'm not)!

  We use the Apex 5.0.1, but I believe that this is the case for other versions as well. At least that which was already identified and fixed in the latest patch.

  Here's the scenario:

  1. we have a table EMP where we maintain details about employees.

  2. we have an EMP_FILES table where we maintain one or more document (s) of support for each employee.

  3 page P1 displays the details of the PMCS with an IR showing the list of documents associated with this employee. This page also has a button called "New Document" when you click on it, takes users to P2 where they can upload a new document. The IR has an 'Edit link ' who also takes users to P2 where they can modify the file information (such as comments, date expiration etc.) or replace an already the document with a new document.

  4. we need to force users to download a document, when they save it in P2, then the easiest option was to highlight ' required ' 'Yes' as shown below:

  

  5. This works very well for a 'New' file upload / insert features.

  6. when users click on edit link to access the P2 and if they do not want to replace an existing document with a new document, but want to update the rest of the file info (like comments, expiration date etc.), it throws errors illustrated below:

  

  7. to address this problem, we put 'Value required' on 'No' and check the length of the BLOB in DB trigger BEFORE INSERT or UPDATE, as shown below:

  8. If I understand correctly, the file upload in the APEX is nothing other than an action of 'INSERT + UPDATE' in the same folder. For example when we upload the fresh file, it creates a record with EMPTY blob and immediately update the record with the contents of the blob. Thus, regardless of whether or not users select a file, it would raise an error as mark is right at the top of the trigger code.

  9 ok, well move this piece of code at the top to UPDATE section because we want to allow the insert 1 to cross. But the problem is... Download the second part of the APEX file, which is updated would happen only if there is a selected file. If there is no file selected, ONLY the INSERT is pretty good. Thus, within the section of UPDATED trigger validation would never run for a fresh download.

  If someone has encountered this? I can't imagine that we are the 1st :-). Happy to provide / discuss it further. Thank you in advance!

  Set the validation property default value is required on file upload on No.element.

  Create a validation of Non Null point about to file download pages and subordinate, for example the button CREATE is clicked and the PK null line item. This will ensure that the validation is done only when you insert a new file and check the updates that do not involve a file upload to be accepted without error.

  Once you have authorized image, you can download them via the page history of a license . Click on the image you wish to download and select "save image to the desktop".

  IM building a website via the Muse and British Colombia for a movie star client that includes pictures of herself tattooed by ardent fans. Basically, the site is a gallery for fans featuring the best inked images of herself on their skin. On the form of contact in Muse, I add an option somewhere for the client to upload an image of their own tattoo to appear in the Gallery (which will be added/changed manually in PS).

  Is this possible without too much code xtra? Or, I need one page where people can upload their image we which will include some kind of widget? I would like to be able to manage it without giving an if possible email address?

  If you use a BC form then the data downloaded by users are stored in the section "Related files" in cases of clients within the catalyst for Business Server and the maximum size of the attachment may be 250 MB as indicated by you.

  However, if you use a central form of adobe - forms, then you have the option to specify if you want the files downloaded by the client in the email address indicated or good it is downloaded on the adobe server, and you can retrieve it from there. But the limit on the size of an attachment using the Central form is 20 MB for a paying user.  Please see this link for more information on this subject:- https://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-2656

  So, if you ask me I suggest you use the form BC if you plan large images to the client.

• CFFILE upload and the choice of variables of form b4 download

  Even with tons of research on google I can't understand this:

  I have a back-end (CF) management system that identifies the user and the company they accompany on login. These variables (and a few other identifyiers) are stored as session variables in the page of the app when connecting.

  Some users (according to the user level), set up a staff member company or a client through html forms regular of the CF with the action pages. This post to a SQL database.

  Part of what I'm trying to do is finally released an index of pdf forms that are downloaded or generated dynamically. This index contains categories and subcategories.

  So... Let's say, for example, when a company staff member is entered into the system, according to user's role the staff member must be given - I put in place of the folders and subfolders with cfdirectory (as well as other inserts to the database).

  Here my problem is:

  I need to have the user put in place a download by selecting through drop-down menus on a couple of form templates. The value of these drop-down lists the StaffID (for example) that the download is for and what category and subcatgory and other variables that are stored in the database - where the download is etc...

  I understand as a download of cffile only ' will make the upload part "customer and you will have to rename/move the file.

  What I can't understand is to know how to pass variables from the previous drop-down list forms to download form and be able to use variables for the database inserts because the cffile enctype publishes about himself. For me, this post of cgi is as a page refresh, so form variables that are passed to the upload form is lost when you actually download the file (announcement in itself).

  I am trying to integrate "double loading" I found the website of Nadel which seems to fix some security issues on downloads. (This "double upload' download the file in a temporary directory where it performs checks on the upload and deletes it if everything is wrong and goes no further in the treatment...) If all goes well this, the 'real' upload to a different directory).

  I can put up these directories two upload as 'session directories' on the application during the login page...

  But... I need to user (uploader) to put up the 'who' and 'where' fields until the file itself is uploaded. A main issue here is that if the download does not meet requirements until the download takes place - I have nothing to be inserted into the database. (The line of database created when the file is downloaded the StaffID stores, file name, category, subcategory, etc. and the index to retrieve this support will be subsequently pulled the database will indicate where reside the uploads).

  Is this enough information to understand what I'm doing? I know that I can rename and move a file once downloaded, but the upload info must be configured so that the download takes place, and not to take place (no insertion of data), if the download does not meet the criteria, etc..

  I assume that you want to upload pictures and use them as a slide show for the wallpaper, right?

  If so open the windows Explorer and copy all the pictures in the library > photos.
  Click with the right button of the mouse on the desktop, and choose personalize > wallpaper.
  As the location of the image, choose image library. Select your Favorites, set the position of the image and the change of time. After that confirm with save changes.
