Where is the button "see the hidden taskbar icons?

I can't find the button 'To see the hidden icons.'  I want to disconnect my external hard drive and it doesn't have an icon eject.  He had last week.  Huh?  When I go to MS Help I tells me to click on the button "See the taskbar hidden icons" but I don't see one.

Is the small arrow to the right of the taskbar notification area.

    Hi, Rumail
Windows Vista system icons are stored in 'C:\Windows\system32\imageres.dll '. HOWEVER, because these are stored in a .dll file you can access them except through the programs, they have been made. (in other words, you cannot copy them)

  • The invisible taskbar icons

If this product was something else I would have taken this back to the store for a re - Fund now.
I'm lucky that I can still post this question because after I installed Win7, I couldn't even on the ' net (fortunately I can dual-boot XP, which worked well and I was able to get a response (disable the network card, and then re - enable - EVERY time that I boot)).
Anyway, as well as to renounce characteristic streaming music which I was very excited by (the TV adds forget to mention that only a small number of devices will actually support this function) and the dumping of Media Player for Mediamonkey (the new Windows Media player is terrible), I now have what appears to be another common problem, namely that after believing the hype that I could clean up in my office by pinning the icons more used to most of these icons have become 'Invisible '. They are all still there, they all work it is just that I have to right click on each in turn to find the one I want. Hardly a great feature.
Someone would like to restore my confidence?

    Hello stu_cj,

Thank you for visiting the Microsoft answers community.

Try these few things and determine if they have solved your problem.

    ========================================================================================================

    Perform a clean boot:

    ·          Click on Start Orb > type msconfig in the search box

    ·          Click msconfig in the results of the research

    ·          Click the general tab, and then click Selective startup

    ·          Under Selective startup , clear the load Startup items

    ·          Click the Services tab, select hide all Microsoft Services and then click disable all

    ·          Click OKand when prompted, click restart.

If the problem does not reappear when your computer is in clean boot mode, a background program probably causes interference. You can try to determine which background program is causing the problem when the computer is in clean boot mode.

To try to determine which background program is causing the problem, start by turning off all drivers, third-party programs or services and startup items that load with Windows. Then, if the problem is resolved, go back on half of these services to try to isolate the interferent service. If the problem is not resolved at this stage, you will repeat this process until you have isolated the interferent service. Finally, if you are able to determine which specific program or service is causing the problem, contact the manufacturer of the program to determine if there is a solution. You can also disable the program or service to solve the problem.

Enable half of the service points:

In this step, you try to isolate what background service is causing interference with the program. Start by half of the services turn on and off the half.

    ·          Click on Start Orb > type msconfig in the search box

    ·          Click msconfig in the results of the research

    ·          Click the Services tab, select hide all Microsoft Services and then click to select half of the check boxes in the Services list, leaving the other half not controlled.

    ·          Click OKand when prompted, click restart.

Determine if the problem is resolved:

If the program works after you restart your computer, then you know that interfere service is not among the services that were turned on. So, it must be among the services that have been disabled.

If the program does not work after restarting the computer, then you know that interfere service may be among the services that were turned on.

Now that you have eliminated some services as the cause of the problem, you can use a process of elimination to determine which service might be the cause of the problem. You can keep selectively turning services or turn off until you isoliez a service that might be causing the interference. To do this, follow these steps:

Run the program and see if the problem is resolved.

If the problem returns, follow these steps:

    ·          Start the System Configuration utility. (msconfig)

    ·          Click the Services tab, and then click to select the hide all Microsoft Services check box.

    ·          Click to clear half of the check boxes that you have initially activated in the Services list.

    ·          Click OKand when prompted, click restart.

Run the program and see if the problem is resolved. If the problem returns, one of the services that is enabled may cause interference. Continue to repeat steps, disabling services to try to isolate a service that is causing interference. If you are unable to isolate a service as the cause of the problem, these services are likely not to cause interference. If the problem is not returned, then one of the authorized services is originally the interference. To isolate this service, follow these steps:

    ·          Start the System Configuration utility. (msconfig)

    ·          Click the Services tab, and then click to select the hide all Microsoft Services check box.

    ·          Click to select half of the check boxes that you originally disabled in the Services list.

    ·          Click OKand when prompted, click restart.

Run the program and see if the problem is resolved. If the problem returns, one of the services that you selected in step c is an interferent service. Continue to repeat steps, by disabling services until you to isolate the service that is causing interference. If you find that the services in the Services list cause this problem, go to ' activate half startup items "in an attempt to determine whether a startup item is causing the interference. If you were able to isolate a service as causing interference with the program, go to 'solve the problem '.

Enable half of the startup items:

In this step, you try to isolate the startup item might be the cause of interference with the program.

So start by half of the elements start turning on and off half the points.

    ·          Start the System Configuration utility. (msconfig)

    ·          Click the Startup tab, and then click to select half of the check boxes in the startup list.

    ·          Click OKand when prompted, click restart.

Determine if the problem is resolved:

If the program works after you restart your computer, then you know the interferent service isn't among the startup which were on items. So it must be one of the startup items that were disabled.

Otherwise, if the program does not work after restarting the computer, then you know that interfere service is among the startup which were on items.

Now that you have eliminated some startup like items being the cause of the problem, you can use a process of elimination to determine which startup item might be the cause of the problem. You can keep selectively turning startup items or off until you isoliez a service that could be the cause of interference.

Run the program and see if the problem is resolved.

If the problem returns, follow these steps:

    ·          Start the System Configuration utility. (msconfig)

    ·          Click the Startup tab.

    ·          Click to clear half of the check boxes that you have originally selected in the startup list.

    ·          Click OKand when prompted, click restart.

Run the program and see if the problem is resolved. If the problem returns, one of the startup items that are turned on may cause interference. Continue to repeat these steps to isolate. If the problem does not return, among the previous authorized startup items is a service interfere. To isolate this service, follow these steps:

    ·          Start the System Configuration utility. (msconfig)

    ·          Click the Startup tab.

    ·          Click to clear half of the check boxes that you have originally selected in the startup list.

    ·          Click OKand when prompted, click restart.

Run the program and see if the problem is resolved. If the problem returns, one of the startup items that is enabled may cause interference. Continue repeating steps a through d, turning off startup returned to try to isolate a service that is causing interference. If you cannot isolate any an element start as being the cause of the problem, these services are likely not to cause interference. If the problem is not returned, then among the disabled at step 2 startup items is a service interfere.

    Solve the problem

If you have determined what specific context program or service is causing the problem, contact the manufacturer of the program to determine if the problem can be solved. Or, you can disable the interferent in the System Configuration utility. To disable the service, follow these steps.

    ·          Start the System Configuration utility. (msconfig)

    ·          Disable this service.

    ·          Click OKand restart

Safe mode starts Windows with a limited set of files and drivers. Startup programs do not work in safe mode, and only the basic drivers needed to start Windows are installed. Safe mode is useful for troubleshooting problems with programs and drivers that might not start correctly, or that might prevent Windows from starting correctly. If a problem does not reappear when you start in safe mode, you can eliminate the default settings and basic as possible cause device drivers. If a program recently installed, device, or driver prevents Windows from running correctly, you can start your computer in safe mode, and then remove the program that is causing the problem.

    ·          Remove all floppy disks, CDs and DVDs from your computer and restart your computer.

Click the Start button, click the arrow next to the lock button, and then click restart.

    ·          Do one of the following:

o If your computer has a single operating system installed, press and hold the F8 key as your computer restarts. You need to press F8 before the Windows logo appears. If the Windows logo appears, you need to try again by waiting until the Windows logon prompt appears, and then stop and restart your computer.

o If your computer has multiple operating systems, use the arrow keys to select the operating system you want to start in safe mode and press F8.

    ·          In the display Advanced Startup Options , use the arrow keys to select the option of safe mode you want and press ENTER. For more information about the options, see Advanced startup options (including safe mode).

    ·          Log your computer with a user account with administrator rights.

When your computer is in safe mode, you'll see the words Safe Mode in the corners of the screen. To leave safe mode, restart your computer and let Windows start normally.

  • Since the last update of Windows 10 build 10041 does not display the hidden taskbar that Firefox is well on the screen.

    Hello
As I already said. Firefox is the only program that prevents the taskbar hidden to come if the mouse falls down. It wasn't before and I use 10 Technical preview Windows as it is available. I always minimize Firefox if I need the taskbar.

  • Where is the voice search icon?

I had problems to my home screen to crash, so I cleared my cache from the home screen.

My Google voice search (microphone 1 X 1) icon is now gone. It is not in my applications or my widgets.

It is shown as installed (in the game store), but it does not appear anywhere.

I also tried the applications of research, the 'G' blue and white search bar.

Neither can be resized or adjusted (in the settings) to return looking for Mic icon/app.

I also assigned the double tap the magnifying glass of voice search button, but it also just opens google search and not looking for voice (without the extra step of tapping on the microphone in the application icon).
