  If your topic: home is the home page, I don't think it will detect whether you are connected to a gmail account.

  I use firefox as my home page. On a regular basis, it tells me im not not using the latest version. When I click on the help icon it says im update.   Firefox is a web browser, not a homepage.

  Looks like you have the old www.google.com/firefox/ start page to be the default home page in Firefox before Firefox 4.0 sometime. It is not maintained by Google more so either ignore the message or while in Firefox, go to tools-> Options-> general-> home page section and change your home page.

  Hello

  It is usually not a sidebar on the desktop icon. Start - type in the search box-> SideBar
  Find up and double click it.

  Also:

  Start - All Programs - Accessories - Windows SideBar

  If you want to put one on the desktop then right click on one of those and then COPY
  go to the office and the DOUGH.

  Pressing F1 - key or click Help in Lightroom in the menu help should take one to the help content online. Instead I get a "Server not found" message in my web browser, specifically... Server not found, firefox can't find the server at community.stage.corp.adobe.com.  Where to find help?

  Hi I have Adobe Captivate 5.5. When I select help > > Adobe Captivate Help, the Adobe Help application appears, but it's just going to a web site at helpx.adobe.com. This site lists a manual for "Captivate 7.  On the status bar help from Adobe, it says "local content updates available". Under the search box, there are radio buttons for the location of the search: 'Online' and 'Local', however the 'Local' button is grayed.  All this suggests that, when I installed Captivate, the help files have not also installed.

  Is it possible that I can download and install the help files?

  If not, is there a site where the documentation can be viewed online?

  I have the rest of the entire education and have similar problems with all the products in the bundle.

  I don't have CS5, but if all goes well, they still have a somewhat obvious option 'Help' in the menu bar.  You will probably find them also by searching Google using 'Flash CS5 Help' as of CS4, the help documentation is not provided with the software.

  I try to reset Firefox (for Linux/Ubuntu 12.04 LTS), who has gone a bit wobbly... but following the procedure, the first thing is to select 'Help' ('question mark icon) and proceed from there. Unfortunately, there is no aid icon displayed in the choice as indicated on the Firefox Web site.
  It's like trying to find a corner in a round room.
  By the way, one of the problems I am experiencing, is the appearance of green, gray and black rectangular boxes in the browser window. Visually, it's like the text appears that usually it is has currently "hidden" or something.

  In aid of the menu choice "restart with disabled modules" is trying to find out what would be the consequences of this command, but I can't get any result on this SPECIFIC command. If I try, I definitely will disable my Add - ons?

  I have to ask this question because I've had nothing but problems with Mozilla Addons lately, especially the themes.

  I'm tired of Firefox

  Basically what the restart with disabled modules is it closes your Firefox and them it opens in safe mode, which is a temporary mode where all add-ons are disabled, and the settings are set to their default values. It helps you to be able to test and see if your question is without third-party variable. Then, when you close and restart firefox, it starts as before without Add-ons.

  I use Acrobat 9.5.4 Cougar 10.8.3 on my Mac Pro.  I usually have no problems at all with it.  However, I imported a great book in form PDF from a reliable source.  When you open the PDF, I can't find a bookmark icon in the left column.  Only a small icon of signatures is present.

  I installed the same PDF document by copying to a flash drive and then loading it on iMac to my wife in Adobe Reader on Snow Leopard 11.0.2 10.6.8 document of my wife, a bookmark icon is present.  When you click on it, a whole big bookmark is displayed showing chapter and verse.  This set is very convenient to navigate the large document.  After a lot of clicking around, I can't find how to display this icon to bookmark on my Mac Pro.  I need help, please.

  You can do this as well: view > Navigation panels > reset panels

  Firefox 4 and later versions use a combined Stop/Reload/Go button that is placed at the right end of the address bar.
  
  During the process of loading page it shows as a stop button and once the charging button is replaced by a reload button.
  
  If you type in the address bar this button would then become a button go.
  
  Click the Reload button to duplicate the current tab in a new tab.

• Digital Photo Professional - where is the HELP file?

  I'm curious.  I'm the only person who has installed the DPP4 and not get a HELP file?  Nobody else seems to have the same complaint.  When I click on 'Help' in the menu, there is only one choice, "by the way".  Good thing I used DPP3.

  My Photoshop cs5.0 freezes when I transfer a picture to copy with the rendering of lightroom to Photoshop cs5.0. General advice is to download a new copy of 'Manager', but it does not download (I think that Adobe has dropped all support) if anyone can help?

  Make sure that your PS CS5 is updated and or to do a reinstall of the PS CS 5 over the current installation.
