where is the HP 6 p in Windows 7 printer driver?
I have a printer HP LaserJet 6 p Laser printer connected to a computer in my workgroup. My new laptop Windows 7 can be seen on the network, but it can't find the drivers for it. HP site says that they are part of Windows 7, but apparently Windows 7 can not find them. There is a browse button but do not know the file name or location (I'm guessing that Windows/inf) how can I select it if it is actually present?
- Click Start or press on the then select devices and printers from the list on the right. When the devices and printers windows opens and fills, click Add a printer among control options at the top.
- To open the Add Printer window, first select Add a network, wireless or bluetooth printer. Then, wait until your list fills and select the printer, and then click Next.
- In the next window, first click on the Windows Update button and wait a few minutes until the list is filled again. It will look like nothing is happening, but it's work. Once the lists are updated, select HP for the manufacturer or HP LaserJet 6 p/6MP Postscript Printers HP LaserJet 6 p . Click Next , and then select a name for your printer.
- When you click Next must install the printer driver and you'll end up with the last screen where you can print a test page if you wish.

Where can I find the download of the base for a HP Deskjet D4260 printer driver?
Where can I find the download of the base for a HP deskjet D4260 printer driver? I have a new Windows 8 tablet running, and the only thing I can find is downloadable for the complete software suite. References from the HP website they have a base driver download but you don't tell where. Search all of lead them to the download of the complete suite.
Hello eworth3,
I followed on the specific page for this driver and found the same thing - my apologies that there is not a link on this page for basic training. I did a search on the site hp.com for this text and it took me to a page that has the base driver... I have included the link below. This is the basic feature software solution and is a driver software intended only to users who want a basic print and driver scanning for use with their device from HP all-in-one.
Thank you for that bring to our attention: I would ask to add the link to the specific page.

Dell A920 for Windows 8 printer driver
HI -.
I followed the instructions to the title of the other positions and installed the A920 on my Windows 8 print driver, however, when printing it seems to be a problem to identify the ink levels. The display window shows no ink and therefore does not allow the queue to proceed. Is there a cure for this problem?
Thank you
TheIndianBradPitt,
Try the following...
First run, delete print jobs to eliminate any print job stuck in the queue.
Unplug the printer.
Download and run the patch (cleaning printer utility) until it prompts you to restart your computer.
Restart your computer. Make sure that the printer is deleted. Driver Manual printer removal
Download the 32-bit drivers for Windows 8 32 bit Vista or 64-bit drivers for 64 bit Vista Windows 8. Install the Vista drivers in Vista compatibility mode, you will get a message, the printer is not connected. Connect the printer at the moment (power on).
You will find links to the patch/drivers to...
Owners of printer inkjet all-in-one Dell A920 thread (W7)
Firewalls and anti-virus programs will block communications. If you have not installed one, Windows Defender is the default value. Try to read...

Where's the "recently played tracks" in windows media player 11?
As far as I know, it should be listed under file, or when you right click on the media player, however, I can't find where is the list of recently played songs.
If something has changed in Windows 7? How can I see what has been recently played?
Hello
Windows 7 comes with Media player default 12. Unlike other versions of Media players recent items under the file will not appear in Media Player 12. The best way to display recent Articles is by creating a playlist. By design, this option isn't there.
See you soon.

I'm having a time difficult transition from XP to Windows 7. Thanks for the input.
Hello
Thank you fo contact Microsoft Community,
Directory tree can be found on the left side of the Explorer windows or windows computer. If my guess is right, you are looking for the directory of the user account. In Windows XP, it is present in "C:\Documents and Settings" (if C:\ is be the operating system disk partition). In Windows 7, it is "C:\Users" (of course, C:\ represents the partition where Windows 7 is present).
Here, for the office, it goes: C:\Users\

Where is the location of games for Windows Live Marketplace Temp?
Hi guys,.
I'm having if bad weather try to install Games for Windows live. I downloaded the http://www.xbox.com/en-ZA/Live/PC/DownloadClient Installer and ran it on my computer Windows 8. The downloader has downloaded the files required to install GFWL, but for some reason some got to the point where it said 22.3 MB to 30 MB download and then immediately jumped and said GFWL is now installed.
When I try to open GFWL, it is ALWAYS asking for me to install Windows Live ID Sign-in Assistant. I downloaded that and tried to install several times, but without success!
- I tried to install with Windows 7 compatibility. -NO Succeess
- I tried to install as administrator (right click Run as administrator) - WITHOUT success.
- Every time when I open the installer, he don't ask me to redownload the Setup, which makes me believe that he jumps right to the installer downloaded previously, which the Setup file stored somewhere!
- I uninstalled and reinstalled SEVERAL times and did a reset later.
I have reason to believe that this file is corrupt because it did not download the full 30 MB as indicated by the program. So my main question is, how do I delete temporary files, where the hell it might be, so that I can re - run the installation program and do the installation of games for Windows Live Marketplace program redownload the files from scratch.
Thanks in advance!
MHi Morne,
Temporary files are stored and used in the TEMP folders and TMP/system or the user temporarily a task is performed.
Well, if you want to delete the temporary files, then try the following steps:
a. press the Windows key + R on the keyboard. Type folder in the Run dialog box and press ENTER.
b. press on Ctrl + A to select all temporary files and press SHIFT + DELETE to remove the temporary files.
Once you have finished the temp deleting files that you can download and check the status of the issue.
Poster with the exit status.

Where is the hyper Terminal option in Windows 7?
Hyper Terminal Server in windows 7 Pro
I'm not able to locate the hyper Terminal option under windows 7 Professional, please update on this issue.
Hi, hyperterminal is not available in Windows 7, it was also not available under vista. It is possible to run hyperterminal, although it is NOT officially supported. If you have a Windows XP CD, look for hypertrm.ex_ and hypertrm.dl_. Copy it to your hard drive. Extract them using a program (I recommend 7zip) and place them in the same directory. Run the .exe will allow you to use hyperterminal. You can also view this Web page. social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7programs/thread/938d4225-30cd-4db5-a0a0-bdeb9c439269

I get a recording of event ID 370, about once every four days, what about the EPSON Stylus COLOR 460 printer ESC/P 2. I recognize the device as an old device, which is no longer necessary, that I thought was completely uninstalled years ago and I am slightly surprised to see that the tracks still on the computer, or not, as it appears.
It is that I don't know if this record event was caused by a device driver package or the registry keys and values? Is the event ID 370 caused by or for both (device driver package / registry values) being obsolete?
I have the old appliance any longer, so it seems sensible to remove traces of the system and in turn eliminate the causes of event ID 370. However, to find all traces causing the registration of the event? What traces can be removed without problem?
1 today, this device does not show as a device available in display devices and printers to devices and printers.
2, I was unable to see a name similar unused volume in trying to remove the old device (when looking faded icons in the branches of the Device Manager with emphasis on -pilot no Plug and Play, other devices, portable devices, Port (COM & LPT), Printers).
3 reveals regedit there are registry keys and values in the registry that reference naked always at "EPSON" searches for the word. Yes, I have reason to assume that these registry keys and values have caused event ID 370? Is it safe to delete the registry entries, or should the registry key entries to receive new values? (I don't want the deletion of these registry values to cause instability in the print spooler.)
Event ID 370 Description:
The print spooler could not regenerate printer driver information for driver Epson Stylus COLOR 460 ESC/P 2 for Windows x 64 environment. Win32 system 2114 error code (0 x 842). This can happen after an upgrade of the operating system or due to loss of data on the hard drive.Search for "EPSON" in regedit concludes:
