where is the jdbc driver?

Hello
I have wls814 with Oracle db9. In my classpath, I don't see any for the oracle jdbc driver jar file. Is configed url "JDBC: thin: @<>" and the name "oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver". wls get the driver?
Thank you

Here, the magic is in the META-INF/Manifest.MF of weblogic.jar. It lists the other jars that will be implicitly included.

  • Extract metadata check constraint using the JDBC driver

    Hello

How to extract metadata check constraint using the JDBC driver?

I know that by using the package dbms_metadata is possible, but the results of the get_ddl function are limited by the permissions of the user account, log on to oracle customer. So, how others pure Java implemented customer oracle can get the metadata of check constraints by using the same user account used to run the dbms_metadata.get_ddl function when this function cannot obtain metadata restrictions for approval when throwing an exception saying that the cheque does not exist?

For example, in Aqua Data Studio and further implemented in pure Java metadata check constraints are extracted and showed in the Table Properties, but when I use the same user account in a java program using JDBC to execute dbms_metadata.get_ddl, an exception is throwed with a message that the constraint does not exist.

So I guess that these pure-Java Oracle customers use Oracle JDBC driver to extract the metadata of check constraint (ddl or the status of the audit). If anyone knows how to use the Oracle JDBC driver to do this, please help me!

    SELECT *
    FROM all_constraints
    WHERE constraint_type = 'C';

You run this under Linux or Windows? The path of the log file looks like Linux, but your classpath is configured to use windows (semicolons instead of colon) separators.

    Hello

It's my instructions on my Solaris platform:

       export PATH="opt/SunProd/studio12/SUNWspro/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/ccs/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:$PATH"
       export LD_LIBRARY_PATH="/scratch/programs/lib:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH"

       chmod +x jdbc/install-sh
       make install

For the building in db.h error, you mentioned, it seems that the building must include "config.h" on your Solaris platform. If the CFLAGS definition as above might help.

  • Failed to load the JDBC driver class

    Hello

I managed to install Flash Builder 4 (FlashBuilder_4_LS10.exe) with the plugin (Adobe_Application_Modeling_plugin_v102_eclipse35.zip) data model. On my local pc (XP Professional), I'm under tomcat with LS (lcds31 - win.exe). I can run all the samples, but when I try to add an oracle DB data service I receive
' Not found data source: java: / comp/env/jdbc/ORCL.
"Could not load the"oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver JDBC driver class.

I copied ojdbc6.jar (I tried ojdbc5.jar as well, but without success) in the C:\lcds\tomcat\webapps\lcds-samples\WEB-INF\lib directory. I also uncommented RDS servlet in C:\lcds\tomcat\webapps\lcds-samples\WEB-INF\web.xml and changed useAppserverSecurity to false. Finally, I added the following to C:\lcds\tomcat\conf\Catalina\localhost\lcds-samples.xml:

    < resource name = "jdbc/PUF" type = "javax.sql.DataSource"
    driverClassName = "oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver"

    URL="JDBC:Oracle:thin:@oradbsrv:1521:ORCL" username = "atest" password = "aaa123" maxActive "4" =

Any idea what I might be missing or hurt?

    Thank you

I have an Oracle data source running in LCDS31 of screens LCD liquid samples.  I have my Oracle driver in tomcat/lib not WEB-INF/lib.  I connect to an Oracle 10.2 server.  I am also under the odbc14.jar

I would like to start by moving your tomcat/lib driver.  First try ojdbc5.jar.  I think I went to ojdbc14 because latest drivers did not work.

  • orai18n - mapping.jar in Instant Client, but not in the JDBC driver

    Hello

I searched my question, but no answer. :(

    I downloaded the complete JDBC driver packages (* ojdbc5.jar* + ojdbc6.jar + orai18n.jar) for Oracle 11 g to the:
    http://www.Oracle.com/technology/software/tech/Java/sqlj_jdbc/htdocs/jdbc_111060.html

I downloaded the base + supplement of JDBC Oracle 11 g Instant Client packages to:

There is a mismatch of files between 2 ways to get jdbc drivers. In the Instant Client version via JDBC-supplement, the orai18n - mapping.jar is present, but not in the sense of JDBC.

Why is the orai18n - mapping.jar present in one way and not the other? Is this a mistake? It's 11 g oracle version...

    Thank you

Well, in my understanding, Instant client and JDBC drivers are completely different products: JDBC driver is a full set of packages needed to run the JDBC compatible program, that is just to run a program in any Oracle supported environment. On the other hand, client instant is a light version, which does not include several pots and some of them are present in different form, but it is sufficient for most JDBC-programs. See: orai18n.jar is a package that is required for the correct object handling Oracle VARCHARs attributes. It contains files of locales for different languages. In orai18n - mapping.jar, there are not a lot of them, but I guess that it would be sufficient for the same task (probably they stores local not in this version of the JAR, but rather to generate on the fly if necessary with the help of DB - but I don't know for you).

  • Problem with the JDBC driver

I have a little problem of JDBC Driver to put the files in a database of the OAF page.

I need to put some files larger than 64 KB and all file formats in a database in a BLOB column.

I had a problem with a driver JDBC 9.0.8 it was solved when I installed the 10.2.0.4 JDBC driver in my room and then, runs ok, but the problem was when I tried to download files thought eBusiness following a problem like ORA-01460: letter dead or unreasonable conversion requested.

People how administered eBS servers has not install these drivers because Oracle has said that this driver is not a graduate with e-Bussiness Suite.

    ORACLE said:

I answered your question above. Sorry but you can not upgrade to 10.2.0.4 driver JDBC as this is not certified with Ebusines
following s. If I can help you with any problem of e-Business, that you have or if you have furs
other issues please let me know.

Despite said Oracle, administrator has put new 10.2.0.4 jdbc driver, when former 9.0.8 driver, but does not work properly.

It is rare, because is the same database that I used locally and the application.

Do you know what we can do?

    In the meantime your suggested.

What is the problem you get with the driver JDBC JDBC 9.0.

[need for files larger than 64 KB and all file formats in a database in a BLOB column] This feature, you can easily provided by OFA.

    Let us know your needs?

  • where is the hard drive on my HP? Laptop

I have a laptop HP I have just purchesed new and no manual. I can't find the hard drive. I received a titanium safety drive, but don't find any disk drive. Computer shows drive D with memory.

    Thank you

Oh THIS kind of hard disk. No, you do not have a. You can get a DVD burner external usb for not much money. If you have another computer with a hard drive, you can copy the contents of the disc to a Titanium flash drive, with a little more effort, you can make the disc on another computer available to the Sleekbook on a network or you may download the files of titanium on the Internet and use the key on the drive they gave you when it exists.

  • Where is the graphics driver in Windows 2000 for Fusion 3.01? Stuck in VGA :(

    People

I just upgraded from Fusion 2 to 3.

Overall, it works well except for a Windows 2000 SP4 virtual computer. When I started it OS complained that the VMWare SVGA driver is not compatible. I thought okay - we're going to update VMWare tools. It worked too, but (as usual) I received the message at the end of installation to the effect that the graphics driver must be manually installed. Yet once I went for him... but for the life of me I can't find the CD virtual VMware. Usually it would have been in

Program File\ VMware-VMware Tools-drivers, but all I can see are SCSI drivers...

Any help would be most appreciated as I'm not stuck with a VGA screen! http://communities.VMware.com/message/1453346/ !!

I dcn can't run Windows 2000 on my Mac.    But I run Win2000 VMs VMWare Server and Player.  The video driver installs normally with VMWare Tools in these cases.

I noticed this on page 24 of the guest operating system guide:

After you have installed VMware Tools, modify the Windows 2000 screen area to be larger than 640 x 480 pixels; If you do change it, Windows 2000 uses the standard VGA driver, and performance will suffer.

I would say, try to uninstall tools, restart Windows, and then reinstall the tools.

  • Where is the new driver for the DesignJet 1000 series?

I am registered for the driver and Support alerts.  Today I received this for our 1050c HP large-format printer (plotter):

    Routine Driver Alert , August 10, 2011
Products of the series of printers HP Designjet 1000 light Installer more HP ePrint and share (ver v447.40.4200): HP Designjet 1000 Printer series
    OS: Windows
Description: This package installs the drivers for 32-bit and 64-bit platforms, and also includes the package of ICC profiles to provide a set of color for types of HP paper profiles.

However, when I click on the link, I am told:

We're sorry, we couldn't find the document description driver you asked.

Subscribe to the drivers and support alerts to be notified when information is added.

Which is exactly what started the process.

I am not really interested in the ePrint and store solution.  However, I am interested in new drivers when they come out.

It is a tracer of several years old we are out of warranty.  Which excludes me an online chat with someone at HP who could tell me the download link.

My current driver is 4.8.4.  This seems to be a series of numbering different from what is stated above.  My hypothesis is that the link above includes a newer driver than what I use.

Anyone know where to get this new driver, or know where I can contact HP directly to find out?

    Thank you!

The only thing I find is the ePrint and share stuff here.   You can have the best results, post in the forum HP Designjet here, Designjet experts hang out there.

  • How to set the properties of the JDBC driver

    Hello

I run a JEE Application based in JDeveloper embedded 11.1.2.1.0 WLS spring.
The database connection is by jndi refered as Data Source name. As there are not many properties in the menu contextual-properties of the connection db other than the user name and password, I am wondering how to set other properties as autoCommit or oracle.jdbc.convertNcharLiterals = false for example for the connection used by the application.
    I don't understand.

    Any help appreciated.

    Thanks and greetings

    Chris

You should be able to put this on the data source that is defined in your WebLogic integrated - call the Weblogic http://localhost:7101 console / console and locate the data source you created.
