Where is the option "Manage" bookmarks in Firefox 19.0.2 so I can rename or delete a folder?
I tried the 'wheel' icon to manage / delete / rename the bookmark as records suggests the tutorial, but it does not select the option "Delete" (I can see 'remove', will not work) and it offers the option to rename the files. Before I can do a right-click on the title and then rename but now nothing works.
I have Firefox 19.0.2 on an iMac
The menu item has been renamed "Show all bookmarks" at any given time. Who should open what is now called the Library dialog box.
Bookmarks > show all bookmarks
Under Windows, on the shortcut menu, you always choose Properties to rename, there wasn't an element of rename it. Does it work on Mac?
Yet, who would not explain why you can't remove...
You can do what you need to do in the Library dialog box, or is this dysfunction as well?

where is the option to "bookmark all tabs"?
......
Some menu entries in the main menu bar are hidden if you are using the mouse and only appear if you use the keyboard to open the menu (Bug 626825).
You can see the difference if you use Alt + F to open the file menu and other menus such as the Edit (Alt + E) menu and the menu bookmark (Alt + B) and compare that to what you see, if you use the mouse to open the menu after the bar of menus visible by typing Alt or by pressing F10.
- "To bookmark all tabs" (Shift + Ctrl + D) is no longer present in the menu bookmarks unless you open the bookmarks menu via the keyboard (Alt + B).
- "To bookmark all tabs" are available through the context menu of a tab on the tab bar.

Cannot save the no http bookmarks in firefox
Cannot save the no http bookmarks in firefox
Among the Favorites of standard Web sites registered on my IE toolbar, I have several of my own making html documents/pages. These start obviously by a non-http address.
Include pages that contain an array of webcams on one page or a page that opens several sports venues each in their own tab, or strip of video covering windows live tabs stormchasing chase, weather radar, scanners of emergency etc etc.
An address would take the format on the lines of
'C:\Documents and Settings\All Documents\Football results and Tables\UK.html'Firefox insists on adding "http" before the C:\ (and unlike IE, it also adds the %20 for space.)
Can someone help get FF to accept a favorite that is not a Web site.
It's ok I just solved it me, waived the need to type %20 for each space.
Need to add before c: the following
file:\\\
So a sample address
file:\\\C:\Documents and Settings\All Documents\Football results and Tables\UK.html

Hello
Usually in the BIOS, there is an option called SATA controller mode. You can choose between AHCI and Compatible mode.
But I believe that not all motherboards and BIOS version contain such an option, so probably your computer doesn t offer such an option.

Where is the option for OCR?
We're trying to highlight words in a PDF attachment to an e-mail message. The user has Adobe Standard 8 or 9. The menu bar at the top only has File, Edit, View, window. Where is the option to choose the OCR recognition? I know it's in the "Document", but on the computer of the user 'Document' does not appear in the menu bar.
Looks like the user has Reader and Acrobat not.

What is the use of the file winsxS\Policies if we can rename or delete arbitrary?
The solution proposed by Snave_Nivek for a NET problem was:
Rename %windir%\winsxS\Policies (or remove) and then reinstall .NET.
Which will not affect other programs? What is the use of the file winsxS\Policies if we can rename or delete arbitrary?
Hello
The point behind rename/remove the policies folder is to eliminate the possibility of corrupted files. Once deleted/renamed, the folder is recreated.
However, note that renaming/deleting is not applicable to all records.
For more information on the WINSXS directory, see this article:
What is the WINSXS directory in Windows 2008 and Windows Vista, and why is it so important?
