OK, I'm not happy.

History:

I installed my store bought boxed copies of microsoft windows, I had checked the microsoft page on the false versions and he passed all checks, (holography etc.).
I registered and activated copy, all very well, enabled! and ran for maybe six months without problem or warning that it is an illegal copy.

I then swapped catches my hard drive and sound card was connected to try to solve a problem of latency, after reboot, I was told due to hardware changes that I had to re - install.

When you start windows, I was told that my copy of windows was now invalid (because he saw my changes to the hardware as a new computer and windows Ultimate edition is only good for one computer).

It is a nonsense.

I ask again here that microsoft corrects this problem, is updating its database and re-active software, or I'll make formal complaints to trading standards about this system\scam.

Windows activation after repairs

Recently, I had to have my hard drive replaced due to overheating laptop computer. I lost everything, but the repair has reinstalled windows vista Home premium and the laptop worked ok. I noticed that I need to activate windows in 11 days or I will lose it. repairman said I just need to enter the product code on the label of the rule on the underside of the laptop, as it was the code for Vista which has been included in the Laptop.But it keeps getting rejected and it seems that I have to buy a new product code. Are there Windows gods out there who can tell me how I can get more than 2 icons window active in my windows task bar? When I have 3, 4, 5, + active Windows Open the stupid task bar opens a UP/DOWN arrow I click on [1, 2] view [3, 4] [5, 6] etc. This is VERY STUPID, because my taskbar has about 6 1/2 inches of unused task display area that could EASILY show about 13 ICONS MORE. 2. You can find online. It was a rare product in stores because of compatibility issues. Yes, it's a CD.
3. None that I know. 64-bit was pushed more with Vista, because of 32-bit and 64-bit being equal.
4. XP 64-bit went up to Service Pack 2, since it was a renamed Server 2003
And with that last line, we see the major 64-bit XP had: it was a renamed Server 2003. He had a lot of application compatibility problems and was not really pushed with Vista around the corner. A big problem was the drivers because the drivers for most consumer devices written for XP waiting for XP 32-bit. They have not waited 64-bit Windows Server.

Vista has brought Windows and Windows Server in the same code again and therefore, did not have the same kind of XP 64-bit compatibility issues did.
