  -How can I get these? If they are not free, how much it costs?

  -Can I develop plug-ins that will interact only with the Adobe Acrobat pdf viewer embedded in my app - like menus and tools buttons - and not with the regular Acrobat Reader we download from the internet? If so, would still need to go through the process of approval of Adobe?

  You don't need permission to develop a plugin for Acrobat - you can do it without even taking the trouble to tell us that you do.  You have just need a copy of Acrobat and the SDK (which is free).  It has all the documentation, code samples, headers, etc..

  The IAC classes work with Adobe Acrobat as well, but they are quite limited.  If they will do what you need - large - you can call them from any language such as VB COM/OLE / c#, etc.

  There is sample code in the SDK to integrate the viewer into your own application - no problem at all.

  If you want to choose a product that will be the test of the future and integrate following Hyperion then I'd look to an Oracle tool like ODI/OWB (these two products will merge with time). If the transformation that you need to achieve is simple then you can not even an ETL tool.
  I see OBIEE as more of a reporting tool and do not really consider it to be in the region of the ETL.

  As far as I KNOW, web browsers do not read image metadata.

  You should use the alt attribute for this sort of thing, or you might have a legend hidden with 17 languages, if you do not want to display on the web page.

  The new layout BI Publisher Editor to create reports which have an available interactive output type. The interactive Viewer allows to popup details, tables scrollables, filtering the table, table sorting and filtering through the various components of the report.

  So, if you are interested in providing this kind of functionality, you can design reports with the layout editor.

  No, Bootcamp is just so you can run Windows on it. If the games are for Windows, then you need Windows to run it.

  The fact that it can run on Windows means that it can also run on OS X if you have a version of the games for OSx.

  Minecraft or Sims require a system that is too powerful, or it is not working properly.

  If you have a lot of Windows-based games, I'd go for the PC.  Otherwise you will restart the Mac every time you want to change from OS X to Windows to play a game based on Windows.
