White along the silhouette layer

Hello, I am an indie game and the problem that I seem to have is around one of the layers, it seems always to place a white border on the sides of the painting. I always put this layer as a transparent layer. If it was a regular drawing so it wouldn't really a problem; but, because these photo must be sized, scaled and placed along a map with a bit of Gaussian blur Editor, it leaves edges white on texture making it unusable (especially when launching a beta version), even when I try to use the quick magic wand tool. Everyone knows about this problem? If so do you have the solutions to help me with this? In addition, I have a few textures that have this white border along the texture - what does anyone know a solution to solve this without having to start over?

I posted a picture staing the problem, it's right after I used quick Wand tool:

OK, so when you do the top layer, you are making nothing, just hand it drawl or is form from another source?

What it looks like to me is the basic form that his car has been created on a white background then wanded magic and the Cup (which is the normal cause of the white contours,

A quick way to clean up the blur of the border is to make a copy of the shape layer, desaturated layer, now make a solid white layer and place it under the new shape layer. adjust the contrast and brightness so the dark real shapes and white contours, merge the two layers and the magic wand and remove white. This gives you own model to cut the fuz off the colored ones.

For good measure, I would also add an inner shadow of 1 pixel to make it look more 3d.

You use the camera 'Before' by mistake. Switch 'Before' in 'Active camera' in the Model Viewer and you'll be good to go.

  • Crossfade of the white frame to the adjustment layer doesn't work more in 2014 CC

Windows 7, first Pro CC 2014

I have a video clip in a sequence, nested on a layer of setting on the V2 and V1.

I want to dissolve a white frame on the clip using the adjustment layer.

In CC PP (not 2014), it was simple:

Beginning with a white PNG on V2, melted chained to the adjustment layer.

However, in PP CC 2014, this causes a fade to BLACK for the duration to dissolve, then a CUT to video.

This behavior in 2014 CC is illogical. Why has it changed?

There are other ways to do this, but it was quick and easy and is required for hundreds of clips in existing scripts / projects.

  • importing a dxf to the outline layer Board of Ultiboard

I try to import an outline of the map of another CAD file, but I have several problems.  First of all, with the layer "Outline of the map" selected, if I import the .dxf file it place in white color, while this layer must be yellow.   How to convince Ultiboard is the outline of the map?

My outline of the map also has a semicircular path in its perimeter;  the entire Board is rectangular, but there is an outline of a semicircle on the side.  When I import the .dxf, it comes out as a full circle.  So no idea what is the problem?

    Thank you

    Hi Jweaver,

When you import an outline of the map, Ultiboard to import the settings of the DXF file, including the color layer. Often, this color is white in AutoCAD, and so when you import the file, the layer of the Board outline is white. You can check in the Toolbox of design and also change color to yellow.

Import DXF in Ultiboard has some limitations, which is probably why import is to convert the semicircle to a full circle. The next version of Ultiboard has some difficulties to import DXF, and unfortunately, there is nothing you can do until then. However, I encourage you to post the file DXF here so I can see if the problem is resolved.

  • Unable to complete the command reverse because the active layer is empty

    Help!

I think you're misunderstanding 'Reverse' what about and you really mean "Fill."

    Try this

    (1) take your image and create a new layer by clicking the marked icon. Do not put a lock on this layer as it crashes the layer

    (2) make sure that your foreground color is black as below

    3)

Now with the blank layer selected press alt-backspace or option-back on the keyboard and the new filled layer of black

    (4) I don't know your reason for wanting to invert the layer, but if you pressed ctrl-I or command I'm going now you change the fill color of black to white.

  • Scale along the way

"Animation guide based on the width of the variable line", number 2, I can't find "Interpolation" to activate "scale along the way.

The create link paths to animate CC

    Thank you

You would have a layer that is a line that you want to track. This layer would be attached to a Guide layer. In the next layer, you have your object you want to follow the line. Drag the object on the layer of the line layer, so that it is off.

Do a lot more images, to the duration of the desired animation. Right-click on the object's layer in the timeline and create a classic Tween.

Go to the first image and drag the object until it snaps into the beginning of the line. Go to the last image and drag the object so that it snaps onto the end of the line. You should be able to scrub the timeline now and see the object to move along the line.

Click on in the timeline, on the first frame of the layer of the object. In properties, you should now see the option to scale the long way and other things you can do with colour or orientation.

If you click this box, that nothing will not be changed, you will need to use the width tool to change the thickness of the line. Do not get carried away, very slight changes in the width of the line will represent a large percentage of change. It might be interesting to start with a thick line.

  • Make the text layer transparent logo

    Hello

I want to create a logo with the text layer and the background transparent (so that both are found with the gray and white square)

I have it done before, but when I now create the circle logo, create the text, then use magic want to select the text you want to delete and make them transparent, he said: I can't edit without pixelation of the image.

Once I did I use the magic wand to try to make it transparent, it removes the text and watch only the circle.

Can someone give me a step by step guide?

The attached picture is the effect I want to create with transparent lettering.

    Thank you in advance!

    Rphotoshop_problem.png

You get the error because you are trying to remove pixels from your text layer.

When you have the choice of characters, activate the layer with the circle, then click on remove. (Hide your text layer when finished)

BTW better (than the magic wand) to select the text is in control, click on the thumbnail for the text layer.

Another option is to put the Options bar of the Rectangle rounded to the path tool

Trash bolt for the background layer, hold down the Cmd key and click on the symbol of the new layer to layer below the image to white. Then edit > fill with white.

Return the image layer and draw the image as a path

    2. make a page break

    4. compensation for reset and paragraph style

Nothing works. The only thing that kind of work is SHIFT + entry, but then the last line of my last paragraph is justified and a little weird.

  • Keyboard shortcut for fill with the color layer are opposed on my PS CS6 OSX install help?

    Hi all

I'm kinda a noob and following a tutorial... and found something strange and I wonder if you could help me understand what is happening.

I have Photoshop CS6 extended on a macbook pro (late 2011).

    I am running OSX v 10.7.5

I'm the long and the instructor has added a new layer. I did it.

He then filled the white layer which is its background color (it has foreground black, white background). I have same evidence / background colors.

Now I thought on mac to fill with the foreground color, you hit Apple + Delete and to fill it with the background, press Option + delete

It's the exact OPPOSITE for me. I hit Apple + DELETE (or even BACKSPACE) and filled it with my background color, which is white

If I hit Option + DELETE (or RET.), filled it with my foreground color.

I tried searching in the area of keyboard shortcuts change... but I do not see these settings anywhere.

I have an external keyboard plugged into my mac. It is a 3rd party one, but seems otherwise never function normally.

    Keyboard here is: http://pckeyboard.com/page/UKBD/UB40P4A

Any suggestions why my shortcut keyboard for a fill with the color layer could be reversed?

    Thanks in advance,

  • Weird fringes on the Red layer, Camera Raw

Hi, so I shot this image, and on my lenovo desktop, it just seems odd: some red is fringed with burst on the shirt of the woman.

On macbook from my friend pro with all the old versions of the creative suite (I'm on cloud creative) the reason for this flower just flat and normal, not random red fortification. I gave him my file, it reads with denunciations of the right color. I don't understand what the problem is, our settings are fit and I have never had something like Alright on my pictures, it's pretty horrible

Any ideas on what is wrong?fringe shot.JPG

A black and white image was provided as a sample of the correct view on your friend's computer, which is why the question about if b & w, it was what was wanted:

Purple is a box off a pixel or two along the edge color, usually caused by imperfections in the optical system, this is why images of 100% (1:1) were requested, as a single-pixel wide image resized small artifacts cannot really be seen.

Apparently, despite the original title of this thread, fringe is not the question, but severe oversaturation of the image saved in an OS Viewer, right, or the picture seems also saturated in the cab and the PS?

Open the raw image of the example provided, the default rendering in ACR is a bit more saturated than the preview built into the camera JPG, but it still seems reasonable to me, on my system.  The red and blue are more saturated.

According your description on your system the reds are highly saturated.

Here are 4 versions of the image, with their screenshots associated with ACR.  Two are in sRGB and two are in ProPhotoRGB; each pair is with the default settings, and your car is used in ACR.  Each of the four images Save on your computer (click to get the native size 1000 x 667, then make a right click Save under) and view each in your OS (Windows Photoviewer) level Viewer and then view each in Photoshop and see if any of them look normal.  SRGB and versions of each image ProPhotoRGB looks the same as eachother.

If these files (at least those of the zipper) Watch severely saturated on your system, especially PS and your OS viewer and/or the sRGB and ProPhotoRGB images look quite a bit different in Photoshop, then it's your monitor profile or your settings of the monitor - display brightness/contrast settings or the video card Control Panel which can be too much for a profile of overcome.

    Hello

Default Outter Glow has the screen as it has blend mode. on a white background, you need to change to a different mix (normal color, more dark, multiply, or whatever you prefer, experience with some doubt)

I suggest leaving the white background on all tweaking and if you need output, turn off the white layer before saving transparent

Please post if this does not resolve the problem for you
