White Outline on outside the clipping of images pathed in InDesign

Hello. I'm on a PC using CS6.

I've created a few clipping paths in Photoshop on a bunch of images and most of them have a white outline (even in the overprint preview) shown in InDesign.

I thought I have me making sure not to be too close to the border in order to not get this white outline. I created paths by using the tool palette and the path of pen.

Please take a look at the screen captures below and I was wondering if anyone has this problem or if something escapes me completely.

As you can see in this photo the white contours are around the box and especially the chocolate pieces. This is a page of InDesign.

This same image below appears in Photoshop with a black rectangle placed behind it and I do not see the white outline. The sketch is in the PDF file too when exporting, so I don't know what to do and I'm worried it will print that way. Never had this problem before...

Next to the other answers:

Softens the edges look more naturally, said, use without cutting paths, would use the alpha transparency (masks, layers with transparency, etc.).

Place the file as a Photoshop PDF or PSD layers in InDesign. Results would improve.

  • How can I change the clip art images in Photoshop?

I'm designing a logo using clip art elements. When I first import it, but after that I only understood how to move, I can change the size and orientation of the clip. Now I want to tweak a couple of things, but I don't know how. Thank you!

    Select the item

Edit > Transform > scale. Hold down the SHIFT key to keep the proportion.

    Edit > Transform > rotate

  • White outline around when save as png8 image

With the help of Photoshop CC Mac

I have almost 4 000 png images (x 768 format) with transparent backgrounds that I ran across automation > batch processing. Now, I've discovered all of the images have white edges. Here's what I did:

Create the Action > export > save for Web (legacy) > do png8

    then

    Automate > batch

Looking at the attached screenshot, it's obviously for save for Web. What settings should I have I used?

The old export save for the Web does NOT support full transparency when you select PNG - 8. Transparency only based on the index, which is 1 bit (on or off), is supported. SFW will make rather semitransparent areas as white, resulting in these white borders.

To export in png 8-bit with alpha transparency, you must use the function export as.

  • The custom for Image path option is grayed out and is not available

I just downloaded the demo version of Illustrator CC and I try to do a trace of the image of a photo, but is greyed out customized to Trace out and not available. Why is this and how do I make it available?

You can still save your own custom options set and then accessing it in the menu if that's what you want.

  • How to get the clip of source Path file in SDK exporter plugin?

    exportInfoSuite-> GetExportSourceInfo (exporterPluginID, kExportInfo_SessionFilePath and seqFilePath);

    char * filePath = seqFilePath.mMemoryPtr;

    What is the reason?

Please explain with the source code.

Sorry, controllers of export cannot export the Source monitor.  A controller of export is the only way to put a menu item file > export.  So what you ask is not possible with the current API.

Providing a panel would give you customizable user interface and let control you exports.

  • It is possible to select a segment of a path between two points outside their clipping mask?

I have a way with 3D rotation effect tends in a clipping mask. In the Preview mode (Ctrl + Y), most of the road is not the clipping mask, but most of the visible inside the mask in normal view because of the 3D effect turns. I want to select and remove a segment of the path between two points outside the clipping path, but Illustrator does not select the components of access outside their clipping mask path.

Anyway is to do without for as much free mask?

ALWAYS indicate the version you are using. Regulars here using one of the six different versions of Illustrator. Assuming that the current version:

White pointer: marquee select around a portion of the original route which is located in the clipping mask.

    OR

Black hand: select the object. Make a right click the object. Select isolate selected in the popup clipping mask.

  • White lines appear on the videos from my new Mac Pro - why?

    Hello

    I am the proud owner of a Mac Pro 2.7 GHz 12 - Core Intel Xeon E5 / 64 gig RAM / 2 X AMD over-pants D700 6144 MB running on OS X 10.9.3 (13 D 65).

I use the last CC version, but also Red Giant Magic Bullet LOOKS to color grade my videos (on an adjustment layer). I have 3 HDD (1 SSD in the computer with the programs + 1 external (Thunderbold) G-RAID for cache files + 1 external Pegasus R6 2 (Thunderbolt 2) for images).

Sometimes, when reading (but more often during export into Media Encoder) white lines appear on the video (see image below). Why?

Is this a problem first? Is something wrong with my Mac? I reinstalled everything from scratch but the problem remains...

I worked with the same programs on my previous iMac and I didn't have this problem.

    Any idea?

It is a problem that is known at this stage and is still under investigation by the folks at Adobe.  As they work through it, move your projects to the software rendering and move the SOUL to software exports.  It may take longer to work through things, but you avoid the strange lines.

Hello, I want to make an outline of the text that I created.  I started with a blue background.  Then, I created a text and changed the color of gold.  I then put on an image and used the clipping mask to show the image by the text. Problem is it gets rid of color and shows that the peak through the text.  I wanted a draft of the text with the picture.  Is this possible?

  • White letters/name of the file is displayed in the lower left side of the video clip and photo in my Windows Movie Maker slideshow

This only happens to a music video and a photo.  I removed the clips and replace them again and it still happens.  I can't find a way to remove the white titles from the images.  Help?  I don't know if I have Vista or XP...

The same letters seem if you watch the video in Windows Media Player?

In Movie Maker - timeline view... Look at the track "Title Overlay"... If there is
the unwanted titles here... right click / delete them.

If you save your picture in jpeg format, you cannot have transparency. The jpeg format simply doesn't support transparency. You must save in .png, .psd, .tiff formats.

Note that the layer "background" in the layers palette must be transformed into a 'standard' layer to keep the transparency. Menu layer > New > layer.

  • The ghost as a white outline around the text at the beginning of the appearance.

When I superimpose a title (with a black font) at the beginning of a clip and apply a bland cross both default to fade in, I see a ghost as a white outline around the text at the beginning of the appearance. Happened to the CS6.

    [title published by mod]

Place a fade on top a dissolution can cause unexpected results for the balance.

A suggestion for a better (more reliable) way to fade in multiple layers - especially when these layers are compositing - is to place a Black video clip (you can generate a new element function) on a layer above several clips you want to fade in or out and then just melted this black clip to fade in the lower layers , or fade the back clip to Dim lower layers.

Not having dissolved individual on each track also makes it easier to adjust the fade in and out, as you only need to adjust the length of the transition from one dissolve applied to your black clip.

  • How to remove the white outline around cursor?

Is there a way to remove the white outline around the black slider? For example, the reticle on the selection tool is black, but they have a white outline around the central point and 4 lines. How can I remove this outline in white? The outline makes it much more difficult to be precise with the cursor. (I use Photoshop CS6 on Windows 7).

I don't know other settings for the sliders as those in the preferences.

If I'm working on a bright image, I hardly notice the bright outline.  I use the browser to zoom in before, so for me, the selection is very precise.  And of course, I almost keep everything in separate layers.

  • How to crop images outside the canvas when registering as a bitmap?

    Hello world.

I worked on a design of DVD.  I have a picture of the face of a person on the entire CD.  The reversal of the image outside the canvas.  However, I made a rectangle along the edges and then used a clipping mask to visually remove the overflow.

When I go on save the image as a .png or a .tiff or any type of bitmap image I always save a transparent part where the spill.

How can I HAVE me to stop this?  I want to record only what images are inside the canvas.  Is there a predefined or preference setting I'm missing?

    Thank you!

In the export dialog boxes there is the possibility of using work plans, check this option.

  • White Watch where video distortion effects shot image back from the edge, how it black?

    Hi all!

I applied "Lens distortion" of the "Deformation" Video Effects to a clip, the tire corners image distortion, revealing white. I would like this to be white not, infact I wish it were 'Black' as when there is no image or video on certain parts of the screen in the sequence in question. The same thing happens when using other effects as "Point of view camera" folder "Transform" (uh, Ben?).

My apologies in advance for what I have or have not done to win with impatience anyones
