  I followed the problem down to be a cut wire in the cable of the internal lcd screen.

  I have searched all over the web and have had no joy. If possible can someone Toshiba advise me to buy the lead...

  I think, you should contact the Asp (SAV) and ask them about compatible lcd screen. Can say that the screen is one of the most expensive parts of the laptop as a motherboard.

• Equium P200-178-backlight of the screen is not

  One of my friends has an Equium P200-178 and the backlight on the screen has failed.

  I guess that your children have changed something. Maybe it s not a malfunction of the equipment.
  What you can do is to connect the external monitor to the laptop.
  Check if you can see something on the external monitor. You can also try to change the display device with the FN + F5 key combination.

• White screen on model Equium M50-216 SM57E problem

  I'm having a strange problem with the computer screen... Start-up of the laptop... against the cold, the Toshiba logo flickers then the windows logo then flashes black... However, the screen is still backlit... The laptop works perfectly apart from that. I can connect to external monitors and it works very well, but here's the weird thing...

  I connected on three different monitors it works in 2 4:3 monitors. It does not work in my wide screen... when he starts the Toshiba logo comes up then the windows logo then just prior to the Welcome screen of windows (that blue thing at the beginning) the monitor says no signal.

  My Equium P200 seems to have developed a problem when stopping down.

  AFAIK SP1 could create serious problems because of the problems of compatibility between some drivers and tools.

  I have been using my Equium P200 1IR awhile to play world of Warcraft. After an update the game crashes now, the screen becomes black when I'm in an area of the game where there are a lot of things. WoW advised me now, they do not support my driver who is an IntelGM965 and advised to update this.

  I tried to run a search on the site of my laptop toshiba, but it won't work. I did a search for the pilot, but whenever I have try and install anything on the laptop on the toshiba site it says that my phone does not have the ability to install.

  I have absolutely no idea if I can update my graphics driver and if so, how to do it on my laptop? Y at - it an update, so I can continue to play WoW, or as I feared I am looking to have to buy a new laptop?

  I have a notebook equium P200 and it won't start, it started, then froze when I turned off and then on again, I got was the toshiba logo then the symbol loading then nothing just a black screen. I rebooted and let it go through the analysis in case of errors, but it will still go to a black screen. It is running Vista. The blue disc light that lights up normally when it starts does not illuminate. I don't lose everyhting on it or can it be saved.

  Hi guys,.

  I found a very useful tutorial, how to install windows xp on laptop Equium P200.
  Problem is that when I did everything what in this tutorial (used nlite, made the install xp with sata drivers cd) Win Xp is show error.

  When you boot from the cd, and all the drivers are loaded, it will show me a blue screen saying that installation was arrested for not to damage my pc and its saying that the error is in the pci.sys file...

  I m not 100% sure why this error but I've had an idea.
  Maybe the installed Intel Matrix Storage Manager doesn t support the good chipset.

  I ve towing different versions of the Intel Matrix Storage Manager and both versions support different chipsets.

  Always is it that there are different series Equium P200 which needs different drivers.
  I think you should visit the European driver Toshiba page and must choose the right notebook series! Compare the serial number located at the bottom of the device!

  Then try the installation again.

  I tried to use my Equium P200-1ED to play a few games and have encountered the same problem each time.

  Basically, the game doesn't load, no problem, however, it loads in a small part of the screen (in the middle) do some games (like Command and Conquer) quite difficult to play. I want to be able to play in full screen, can anyone help?

  Usually start up to a blank screen without the Apple Logo, may report one of the following:

  • Hardware failure
  • Boot drive is not recognized as valid and updated updated
  • OS X essential software is missing, hurt moved or renamed or corrupt

  No matter who, in order to boot from an external drive "bootable", you would normally hold down the Option key until you get a screen that offers a number of devices to try to boot from.

  Alternatively, you can try holding down the C key to try to boot from the external drive.

  If none of these startup options work, then the bootable disc or the USB port on your MacBook Pro can be the question.

  Since you have a Mac pre-2013, if you hold down the D key while booting, the built-in Apple Hardware Test should start up.  This can help to identify hardware problems.
