  • How to remove white space output Excel in

    Hi all

    I was working with Oracle Apps r12.

    We have developed a report customized by using xml and the type of report output is Excel. When the report has missed that he completed with normal excel output is generated, we have a column called quantity and have white space before quantity.

    So that we are able to make an aggregate with these data function.

    For example, the column called quantity

    28523.20
    32569.00
    25369.25

    Excel in the output closer like that, so when we choose this three column and try to do no matter what aggregate function does not give any value.

    I tried Trim but his back ' nt works, because the values are already pruned.

    Can anyone help on this.

    Thanks and greetings

  • 3.1EA1 - white space in the output of the Script window

    We need a way to control white space in the output of the Script window

    SQL * Plus a trimout, trimspool and col/format... can we please get something similar?

    If these options are not on the calendar of 3.1, then even the simplest option that removes all trailing spaces would be of tremendous value to me.

    Hello

    No luck yet on trimout / support, but 3.1 trimspool EA1 includes better support for column: wrap, trunc, format, clear, and so on.

  • Remove the white space of the output column

    Select "create.user.name." | n.*, name_seq.nextval from (select '=' | cover names order by firstname asc) n;

    When I give, I have

    Create.User.Name.1 = test
    Create.User.Name.2 = test1 etc...

    That is to say after the create.user.name.1 it gives a lot of white space and then = test will appear.

    How can I get the format:

    Create.User.Name.1 = test
    Create.User.Name.2 = test1

    I tried to use the rtrim, replace, but not working. Advice would be useful

    Thank you

    Why not just

    select 'create.user.name.' || name_seq.nextval || "=" || n.lid
    from ( select lid from names order by firstname asc ) n ;

    and use to_char shaped the sequence if necessary.

  • White spaces are weird

    I am trying to query through a dblink Oracle to SQL Server 2012... basic stuff works as select * and a couple of joints.

    But when I try more than one couple joins my has output of white space between the texts.

    I tried regular expressions, unicode conversion / delimited, but nothing seems to work...

    What of even weirder when I copy the result in excel there is nothing there, but when I commit on the new joints and run the query, the text is there and able to be copy and pasted.

    If I reset the dblink and run the same exact query with commits them more additional joins, the output is fine but if I try an order or anything else, that white return spaces!

    I think it's a different text but wtf?

    SELECT

    PR."PRequestId."

    PR.' name' as PFLEX,.

    t.' name' as LCRIDE

    OF "PProductionRequest"@TICdb_link pr.

    "" "JOIN"Detail"@TICdb_link d d." PRequestId "= pr." PRequestId.

    "" "JOIN"T"@TICdb_link t t." TId "= d." TId ".

    -left JOIN "Ppr PtProductionRule"@ticdb_link PR. "PProductionRuleId" = ppr. "" PProductionRuleId ".

    image.jpgimage 2.jpg

    Have seen this before with heterogeneous database links from Oracle to SQL Server.

    As I understand it is that the text returned by SQL-Server is a set of characters to multibyte (2 bytes in this case), and deals with Oracle's standard ASCII 1 byte. So the 2nd byte (unused by the 2-byte char) is presented as a white space.

    The likely reason that this happens when you add joins - joins change the character set in the projection of SQL.

  • TRIM trailing white space in SQLLDR

    Hi all

    I use a script sqlldr to load data into the staging of the table, I have a column named location as the last column in the csv file.

    When I load this file using SQLLDR, there is finally an extra space in location data, inserted into the table. Note: The location is the last column in my table and file.

    I used the TRIM function, but it seems to not work.

  • Having a problem with white space appears above my head. Can anyone help to get rid of it?

    My top of page indicator is in top 0. I can't understand why I'm having a white space above it. I tried everything in the page properties, but cannot understand this. Can someone help me understand this?

    site: http://worksafept.com/index.html

    example white space: http://worksafept.com/about.html

    Thank you!

    I noticed that you "injected" some HTML into the head of the page, which contains some content. Is not a valid method! I guess you tried to use a version of 'non-script' of a meter of DoubleClick (an element of the image of an invisible pixel with a identifier unique, designed to be used somewhere in the content of the page) in the top of the page. Instead of inserting the script of this counter version.

    ...

    div style = "display: inline;" >

    div>

    ...

    This defective positioning can cause strange behavior of the browser, such as the movement of this element at the beginning of the body (the actual content). And since there is no enclosing element, "inline" makes no sense and will force a block of 1 no element formatted a line height in any case.

    Either Paste or Insert this HTML form Object HTML somewhere on the page (it's just a little invisible pixel), or better: find the right

  • GREP to remove white space at the beginning. line?

    Hello

    I come through this often where a client gives me a Word file with a white space

    at the beginning of each line of a long list, in this case a table.

    I tried using GREP to remove this by using 'any white space' and then choose 'rental '.

    and selecting 'start of the paragraph' but it will not remove this space.

    Note, this space is not a tab, so I can't search tabs replace it with nothing.

    I also tried typing in a unique space in the search field and then go to the dialog box options and

    by selecting 'location' 'beginning of the paragraph.

    Thank you

    The location must be the first in the expression. Try searching for ^ \s+

    There is also a script in the samples called FindChangeByList which will be Reome of white space, trailing white space, empty paragraphs, and several spaces at a time.

  • Keep the white space from an xsl transformation

    Hi, I really need help on this... I want to be able to use an xml file to put in content and style it in the xsl fragment I can get the xsl transformation to work OK. But! I can't find a way to preserve white space or line breaks. All I get is a continuous paragraph for every words of about 2000 article for each. It looks like hell.

    I tried this element < Preserve-space elements = "ARTICLE" / > is not used in a xsl transformation fragment no chance! and < Preserve-space elements = "*" / >

    Do I need another encoding? I use <? xml version = "1.0" encoding = "UTF-8"? >

    Is there a way I can use html in the xml file? as < br / >

    I know, in Flash, you can specify a return like this \r in the xml file

    Please any help would be appreciated.

    No, I forgot something. A section using CDATA is the right way to store HTML tags in an XML node, but only when using XSLT to output, you must add the disable-output-escaping attribute in the element:

  • Between the lock-certificate of security and information and the address bar there is an inch of white space in the address bar all of a sudden

    For example, he says:

    Http://support.mozilla.org/ of the Mozilla Foundation (United States)

    White space is totally new and annoying!

    It is on all Web sites.

    Thank you!

  • How can I make my boomarks drop down menu less wide, from left to right. There's too much white space on the right half.

    Before yesterday, my boomarks drop was appx. 6 "wide. Now, without apparent reason, it is of the appx. 12 "wide. It has appx. 6 "white space in half right of the drop-down list, which makes it a lot of time to access information within my individual records.

    Hi Philippe,.
    The problem fixed itself. I have NO IDEA how, but he did.
    Thank you for your time.
    Sincerely,
    Denise

  • How can I get rid of the white space in the navigation toolbar after installing LastPass?

    I've uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox 64-bit on my Windows 7 laptop. After installing LastPass I get that white space in the search on the left. I didn't know if anyone has had a similar problem. Thanks for your time guys.

  • Mystery of the white spaces

    I don't know what is happening here. If I insert my cursor before the word again and press on delete, the line runs up to the line at the top (as many words that fits), but it does not follow the rest of the paragraph.

    Yet I can insert my cursor after the word No and press return several times, and that paragraph will occupy this space without changing the paragraph after it. What I want to do, it's for the paragraph that begins with the word again to fill the white space.

    Hi Cheryl,

    Maybe it's the gremlin:

    Menu > edit > select all (control-a)

    Panel format > text > more > uncheck Prevent widow & orphan lines

    Kind regards

    Ian.
