  Just created a test in the Muse of the site for a client and noticed that a bunch of white space has appeared at the top of each page when it is tested on an iPad and iphone6 - but not on the desktop? Check the solutions, the foot takes off as suggested, no difference. Removed the filling of the page on the top on the site and on every page - no difference. Downloaded again the site to the server after which the home page now isn't the white band, but the other pages (Offshore and onshore Rigs - BOP and well - Cyber Rig - HSE control) do? The only change I made to the homepage before downloading has been to place the video widget full width, which appears twice on the page of images of posters and other video files?

  Nice problem. It took some time locate the problem, but I found it. Here's the problem:

  There is a small overflow "A key station" located on the rectangles and this is causing the problem.

  Steps to fix:

  To get at the top of the page "key position" rectangles visible for editing, I stretched first image upward. Then, I brought the rectangle to the right size.

  We now have the indicator "key position" visible and ready to be changed.

  

  

  

  I've then re-released the site. Here are the before and after screenshots of my mobile.

  1. I send an xmlhttp request to coldfusion to process.
  2 Coldfusion executes a stored procedure on an oracle database that returns results as XML.
  3 Coldfusion returns XML to the client: < cfoutput > #XmlParse (ajaxXML) # < / cfoutput >.
  4. the client (Javascript) runs the function that manage the data and returns an error because: " xml not at the beginning of the external entity declaration".
  
  I tried to use with the attribute cfsetting: enablecfoutputonly = "yes", but still the result is the same.
  
  Any idea or lead in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

  Right, so I put a document in inDesign to a word document, and it has a space before each first word in a sentence. It's really annoying and I need a quick way to get rid of them.   Your example shows a space at the beginning of each paragraph, which is easy to remove with the ^ character, which means "beginning of the paragraph. If ^ \s will find a single of any kind at the beginning of a paragraph, as in your example. But the word you used was 'sentence' not 'paragraph' which can be more difficult. Surely if you are one of those one-space-after-point, you want to keep this space? What I don't get your example? Maybe your drive is one of those linebreak-at-the-end-of-each-sentence people.

• InDesign adds a boring space at the beginning of a line

  Text provided to me very often has the combination:

  rest of < tab > < chip > < tab > text...

  If I select < tab > < chip > < tab > and click on remove, Indesign replaces it with a space.

  It is very annoying because I then remove the space. Who needs a space at the beginning of a line like that!

  Preferences > AutoCorrect > [] enable AutoCorrect is turned OFF, so there is no ongoing substitution (I think).

  Someone offers a glimpse of what I need to set in my prefs to stop this behavior.

  Are you sure you're pressing BACKSPACE, do not delete or cut (cmd x)

  In preferences, under Type option to automatically adjust a space then there operations cut and paste.

  I have a graphic header and Navigation bar (flight path images) positioned inside a table. Unfortunately, there are about 1-2 pixels of white space on the left, right and the top of the header image. Even with the navigation bar - there are 1-2 pixels of white space around the edges (left and right). By default, the cell padding for the table is set to zero. So central is set to zero, why do I see a blank space between the edge of the graph and the edge of the table?
