  You can change or remove the folders in the bookmarks toolbar. For example, you can click the right-click (or Mac equivalent) to access properties or remove.

  Are these people that you send using iPhones or iPad?  iMessage is Apple free internet e-mail service and works in Apple devices, but not just iPhones. If someone has an iPad only and uses an iMessage account on the iPad, then they can't get SMS text (unless they pair the iPad with an iPhone).  iPads cannot natively receive or send SMS texts.

  Try view > show people in the tags panel. Or click on people at the top of the window to go to the House of people (sorry, it's the name of adobe to do this).

  I was curious to know if there is a real value to the installation of a program that monitors a the computer temperature and the fan speed (s)?

  The only program I currently have is Speccy and is not (as everyone knows) as shown in which displays the user interface.  Few programs I looked online... I can't really make sense of all of this information.  For this reason, I question the point of having even such a program on my computer.

The purpose of this discussion is to create a reference guide for users who have recently acquired a Mac and learn how to do many basic tasks as we used to do in Windows, but on a Macintosh instead. I will do my best to add content to this guide based on the feedback of the community, but for now, here is a list of topics that I find very useful for the first time that Mac users.

There are however a number of fantastic offers from third parties that provide a comparable and in many ways, superior functionality. I recommend an app called GIMP, acronym for "GNU Image Manipulation Program". GIMP has no monetary cost and may be acquired from the GIMP project site. Alternatively, you can use the Mac App Store and download a tool such as supreme paint, which is a tool of low-cost ($4.99 at the time of this writing) which also offers features similar to MS Paint and GIMP.   More than 20 million people have downloaded El Capitan in the world.  The number of people posting negative comments or questions and complaints here is only a small fraction of the total number.  Who says that if someone has problems with El Capitan, it is because of their computer and everything on it rather than the operating system itself being faulty.

  If you don't want to level, then don't.  The decision is yours to make and only you.  I upgraded because I wanted to, and because I made sure I got not only the hardware to support it, but all my apps are compatible with it.  I backed up all my files just in case something went wrong.  Nothing is fact wrong, but every time you upgrade your operating system, you must perform a backup.
