  • Bookmarks are missing from the list tab so much my favorite and I do not know if this was caused by the plugin or due to lack of space in my internal HD. Help, please?

Dear community, I promise that I will try to be as concise as possible. I am really desperate for help! I read absolutely everything about missing bookmarks, but as you can see my problem also concerns the sliders and Google are different on the screen.

It all started that day that I was running short on storage in my boarding school HD all of a sudden my computer showed that I had 0 KB available, and I just deleted some big mov files and restarted the computer. After the reboot, I opened FF and noticed that my favorites were missing and so has my reading list - my reading list is stored using the ReadItLater plugin (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/read-it-later/). I tried to google solutions for my problem and realized that something was strange the way the results have been posted.

So, I made some screenshots because it's really hard to explain what happens in writing, so please take a look:

    1. when I first open my FF, if I click on ReadItLater, I get this error message (code 0 x 80570016): [[click here | http://www.flickr.com/photos/81007892@N07/7423869970/]]

    2. then if I click any link on the page and go back to check my ReadItLater list, I can open it without receiving an error message, but always WITHOUT READING LIST is displayed. Image: [[click here | http://flic.kr/p/cj2gPm]]

    3. now take a look at how Google is the display of the results on FF! The text appears in black/green when it is really supposed to be displayed in blue/green/black! The cursor is also messed up: when I try to click on one of the links with the arrow, it turns into a cursor type instead of the usual hand or by clicking on the slider! Please see the image: [[click here | http://www.flickr.com/photos/81007892@N07/7423869468/]]

    4. here is a screenshot of the same search Google but this time made the Safari. Compare it with the previous image: [[click here | http://www.flickr.com/photos/81007892@N07/7423869252/]]

Any help will be much appreciated. I tried to reinstall FF again once already and I also deleted and reinstalled FF but I never deleted personal profile which is located in the library folder information. In addition, tried to back up and replace the profile folder but my computer does not allow me. I received a message saying that it was not possible to copy the file places.sqlite - wal. I did a search on this subject and I can say that I never had a double profile. Help, please? I'm desperate and I can't lose my playlist of my favorites!

    Thank you, community of Firefox!

I can't list option of pocket in my favorites and it's driving me crazy especially with the removed add-on. So now I have no one click access to the list of items saved in the Pocket. Using Firefox 38.0.5 GB version of Home Office and Firefox 38.0.5 GB portableapps version to work. Grateful for the help on this issue. Thank you!

  • How can I put my own title on my favorites?

For example, when I put my Gmail account in my favorites and see it on my toolbar, it shows only a "M" icon I want to read 'Gmail' after the icon. Or, my health care provider said "my health Manager. I prefer to read "Kaiser", which is the name of the HMO.

If you can, kindly list each step in detail. I'm not automatically tech savvy or intuitive. Thank you!

  • View list of pocket: invasive.

    Display list of pocket:
So much for Firefox are free when your bookmarks get invaded by junk that you have no intention to use or want. Pocket is a piece of crap, if you want to save web pages for more later, and then mark you just their period. Please people Firefox remove or at least put people back in control of their OPEN SOURCE browser and make it removable. I disabled it but remains in my favorites list, it is quite presumptuous of Firefox techies to assume that we all want this without option for withdrawal, at least make him an add on so that the user has the option of adding or deleting. Bravo and thank you.

Hi, if you have disabled the Pocket by typing on: config in the address bar, press ENTER, accepted the caveat, scrolled down to browser.pocket.enabled and double click to change the 'Value' of true to False - you need to change this in return! Then right-click on the Pocket button on the toolbar > remove from toolbar - that will remove the Favorites and the toolbar, but it will always be in the menu. To remove also from here, you will then need to change the topic: config assigning a value of False.

My Internet EXPLORER Favorites list include several photos, text files and downloaded web pages, of which none appear when I import my Internet EXPLORER Favorites list in Firefox. Is there a way I can remember those?

    There is a work around:

Export your IE Favorites to an HTML file, and then import it into Firefox. If you have questions more do not hesitate to ask.

When I go to a favorite websight how can I get the user id and the password to open the view without having to put in me? Barry was soon

    Hi Barry,.

    Please contact Microsoft Community.

It would be great if you can answer the following question:

What browser you use on the computer?

If you are using Internet explorer, I suggest you to follow these steps to turn on the AutoComplete feature and check if it helps:

    (a) open Internet Explorer.

    (b) click on the Tools button and then click on Internet Options.

    (c) click on the content tab.

    (d) under AutoComplete , click settings.

    (e) check the address bar, Forms, usernames and passwords on formsand ask me before saving passwords check boxes.

    (f) click OKand then click OK again.

  • I want to put a Center icon in my favorites

I want to put an icon in my taskbar Favorites, is - it possible? If so, how.

on my older version of Dreamweaver, I had an icon in the center of text or anything, now the only way I can find to the Center is to hightlight do a right-click and choose align and focus. How can I add an icon (shortcut) to do this.

Thanks for any info you can give me.

Align is deprecated code.  Better to use CSS classes instead.

    . Center {text-align: center}

class = "center"> it is centered

    It is not centered

  • When I do Favorites, the web page saved in the folder I choose and also in the list of favorites, so I remove two long list that I don't need, and when I remove a list there also in the other list

I like my list of tab bookmarks to organize and do not have the same website to be double time

When you create a bookmark, it will be shown in 2 places, there is no overlap of the bookmark, and then coming in "recently bookmarked" is as an index of the most recently created bookmarks:

    • the regular bookmark
    • the automatic query of your existing bookmarks in "recently set bookmark".

When you create a bookmark with a tag, the tab will be shown in 2 places, there is no duplication with the bookmark or tag, the recent "Tags" is like an index of latest brands:

    • the regular bookmark
    • the automatic query of your bookmark existing "recent Tags".

My only suggestion is, if the smart folders "Recently set bookmark", "Most visited" and "Recent Tags" are concerning you or creates confusion for you, you can right-click on these files, individual items not in these three files, but the files themselves and choose Delete. Then you need more these 3 smart folders showing and that can end your confusion about the smart folders.

I don't have any other suggestions or information for you, as it appears that you have either not well read or understand not smart folders that I posted earlier, or information we are not 'communicate '. If the post above and those which precede this post do not resolve your question, maybe someone on the forum can explain it in a way that you can understand.

  • What happened in Aurora? He suddenly became Firefox Developer Edition on my computer. My favorite and addons all disappeared.

I think that put Aurora on day before I turned off my computer. When I started again, Firefox Developer Edition appeared in place of the Aurora. My favorite and addons all disappeared.

Also, see this mozillaZine forum thread.

  • Last update of developer edition has lost all my favorites and addons

I love Firefox! I use it exclusively. When I opened Aurora today (11.10.14) ALL my favorites and addons disappeared! Of course, I want back the way they were. How to achieve this?

Hi rudeann, sorry to hear that you have problems with the bookmarks. My heart stops if I see ALL of my favorites have disappeared. Fortunately, we can fix that.

I have an article in support of Firefox everything on here get these bookmarks. You have to take a look because what you do depends on how you put Firefox in place. It is if you use the normal Firefox and developer edition That's if you use just developer edition .

Take a look at the article that fits your situation and let me know what happens. Hope you find your Favorites quick return. Let me know if you have any questions or this does not work for you.

  • My Favorites from a previous computer located in a folder marked of a star called "Favorites". How can I do a new installation of Firefox to find them?

My computer died. I'm rebuilding my stuff on another old computer. I downloaded Firefox 3.6 on the new machine. I found that my old favorites on the old drive into a folder with an icon star yellow called 'Favorites '. I can see them all in this folder. I can move this folder anywhere. Where to go? Is there another place to search for bookmarks or Favorites backup? The old disk seems to be pretty much ok, so I can access everything that used to be there. The location of the Favorites folder is C:/documents and settings/ed/favorites.

Those who are not bookmarks in Firefox, the Favorites folder is. Firefox bookmarks are stored in a file called places.sqlite in the profile folder. You can copy this file in our current profile folder. For more information on the location of the profile folder and other files, you can recover, see http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox and https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Recovering+important+data+from+an+old+profile
