  Don't use NO Windows 7 with a single account. In Windows 7, the built-in Administrator account is disabled by default, and although it is possible to allow, this process may be beyond what you feel comfortable with.
  WHEN, and not IF you have problems to access your user account, you will have considerable problems if you don't have a SINGLE account to use.
   
  You need to forget about something to do with XP and create a user with administrator privileges, account (let's call him Admin or similar) and give it a password. Keep this account for access to emergency and for elevation purposes. Then change your account to a Standard user account. (There is absolutely no need to run as administrator on a daily basis in Windows 7, Windows 7 has the function of 'right-click-Run as Administrator "when you need administrator privileges). You'll be much safer and better protected than that.

  I have two accounts, one I've appointed administrator and the other with my personal name. I checked in regedit where UserProfile is listed and there are files ending in 02 and 03 and they list the paths to these two accounts. The missing 01 is probably as a result of the problems I had to get rid of test-testpc that appeared on my computer when he returned for repair by the manufacturer. I know that I could change the name on my own from user accounts in Control Panel, but below it was still test-testpc disk hard drive. I changed the name of the computer and that stuck. I made the new administrator account but when I went to the Advanced System Settings system, then profiles user and test parameters only appear and clicking on it would not let me then click on copy to copy its files and settings of the administrator. I did another administrator account with my personal name and then deleted the test instead of copy and then delete. Maybe I couldn't always copy, maybe that I was so happy that I could remove it.

• Why under "user profile", I have 4 profiles named 'unknown profile '.

  I have two user accounts on my computer that I put in place. One is an administrator account and the other is a standard account, which is one we use mainly. In user profiles are displayed both and I guess a third profile for the built in Administrator account. In addition to these 3, there are four different user profiles entitled 'unknown profile '. There could be a reason, they are there, maybe someone can tell me. It is not just that windows would create profiles and do not know whence they came. Is this a problem.   Ron, welcome to the forum.

  If you got to know that they are not necessary, I suggest log you in as administrator to remove.  I don't know that they will never cause problems, but who knows.  Everything that is not necessary on a computer shouldn't be there.

  I run a web site, ASP.NET 1.1 (not app) on Win 2003 server and IIS 6.  Users around the world have used for years.  Around June, a small group of users in the same office began to not be able to connect.  I have followed the issue to the fact that the USER. IDENTITY.NAME is not met.  IIS IWA turned on and I think anonymouse access disabled.  But I also played with these settings and received no differences other than blocking everyone.

  During troubleshooting, I found:

  1. THE USER. IDENTITY.NAME is filled if they use Chrome (same computer, the same user account,.. .just Chrome instead IE 8).

  2. we reconfigured a new laptop.  Windows and IE installed costs.  They remote desktop for the new laptop computer and get the same error.  I have Office remotely and able to connect just fine am using IE 8.

  3. I thought something with their power of Attorney might be the issue.  I caught their proxy file.  Nothing has changed.  I always log in fine.

  I'm not able to solve this further and think there must be a setting in their account windows or something that causes it is not to define.  The thing I don't understand is why Chrome works?

  Do not modify or delete all accounts.  If you want to configure auto-connect, simply do it alone and not to touch anything else there.

• Why this user session becomes a timeout and disconnected?

  I have a few users are disconnected from their display the session with a message saying that their session has expired.  It's strange, because the user will be logged into their office work and all of a sudden, they are back at the login screen terminal wyse.  If they try to reconnect, they are picked up directly on their desktop.

  It is the ONLY user who receives e-mail messages, or are they just getting a lot?

  This could be expected features (without knowing the system or the answer to the question, it is impossible to say) - they can be the recipient for many processes.

  Possible causes if this isn't a feature expected - email address is configured as a substitution for the sender e-mail address; the sender is onlynotifying a test email address; the user is configured as the approver / recipient for many processes (e.g. SOUL is not configured correctly and all approvals go to the same person).

• Why your user interface let someone destroy any list of "next" one click - no confirmation?

  It is a really boring design. I thought someone would have this fixed for the latest Apple TV. I could have queued up to 30 songs to the following list, but if my finger slides while keeping the button down all pending the pop-up menu or the remote control is not exactly aligned with the device such as the click but not the hold record 31 song, it will play the current song has highlighted and wipeout music already queued.
