Why adobe won't allow me to activate my purchased software photoshop CS? I paid over $ 300 for this several years ago and you want to continue using it.
Help Adobe said I had to upgrade (purchase) and could not use my software any longer even though I have an old computer. I don't want the new version because it is what I learned.
Activation server is now available only for CS 3 and above versions.
However, in this case, you can download and install CS 2 version and make sure you use the serial number mentioned with links to activate the product in the full download version.

Just download, install and activate using your serial number. You are allowed to have the software installed and enabled on both machines. If you do want to keep the original installation of backup you can turn it off by opening one of the programs and by selecting help-> Deactivate.

If you need your serial number, you should be able to find it in your account Adobe online if you have registered the software when you install everything first.

I have ownd Adobe Acrobat 8 Standard (serial number < removed >). I bought new about 3 years ago and have my original CD, box and the serial number. I had to reformat my hard drive and reinstall windows 7 original. Everything is OK. Now I'm trying to reinstall my Acrobat 8 legally bought and paid for, but he says that it cannot connect to Adobe to confirm my serial number and gave me only 30 days use because it is not registered.

I think I have most all the features of Lightroom in CC in the full version, I bought and paid full price for is a horrible idea and bad practices. Shame on Adobe!
