  • Why have I not 3 folders 'Creative Cloud Files?

    Hello! I have a question about the cloud creative folder structure/synchronization.

    I installed the creative Cloud Desktop application on my MacBook Pro and then installed the following programs: Lightroom, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro.

    Once I did that I turned on "line sync" on the Application Desktop toolbar.

    I noticed that I have three different areas, called "Creative Cloud Files" and one of these folders is called "Creative Cloud Files unknown" (see the screenshot below).

    Anyone know why there are three different places? What field can I save my files so that I can sync to the cloud? Can I remove one that says 'unknown' in the name of the file? I guess that the file listed in the bookmarks bar is in the same place as the "Creative Cloud Files" folder in my account?

    With the recent update of the application of Creative Cloud Desktop (1.9.1.474), we have unfortunately introduced a bug that causes the creation of a new Creative Cloud Files folder and re-synchronization of all content. This will happen only the first time that the synchronization application runs after the update. This caused an understandable pain and confusion, for which we really apologize.

    We have taken measures to ensure that we are increasing our focus on quality in this area in order to avoid a repetition.

    Creative application Cloud Files contains a logic that supports the use of several Adobe ID. This allows to disconnect from an ID and in, but keeps the contents of your separate creative cloud. When you sign out and change identifiers, the app moves the previous creative Cloud Files folder and it's content and he adds with the already signed in ID (User@AdobeID). Then, it creates a main folder and begins to synchronize the content of the identification of new.

    The bug I mentioned earlier occurs, as the app believes an ID selector took place and as such, moves the current record of Creative Cloud Files and attempts to annex the already signed in ID. As no switch actually took place, it manifests as (unknown).  The application then creates a main folder to synchronize the data.

    What you end up with is essentially a creative Cloud Files folder with your new synchronized data and a creative Cloud Files (unknown) folder that contains duplicate data.

    This happens once, after the last update.

    The solution is to simply delete the (unknown) Creative Cloud Files folder.

    I recommend that ensure you that you have no pending change you can do offline and you check the contents of the folder new, main designer Cloud Files contains everything you expect of him.  If this is not the case, check the contents of the creative Cloud files (unknown).

    If there is still an incompatibility with your data, you can check on creative.adobe.com to confirm that your data is there.

  • Why are the prices for Adobe Creative cloud different depending on where you live?

    I like the idea of the creative cloud. However, why is it more expensive if I live in Australia than in the United States? Isn't the point of this new service to have the power you use wherever you are in the world? So there should not be a global price.

    I realize exchange rates and taxes may be different, but this does not explain the significant price difference that we see.

    $49,99 $ US is the only AUD $48.50 yet Australians are charged $62,99 for the same EXACT service? Why RIP us off?

    I also realize the current / former prices of products was ripping the off the Australian for the years... I thought that this new pricing model could just solve that, but alas, we are ALWAYS GOING to BE CHARGED MORE just because of there where we live... WHY?

    Can we just buy an American membership since all products will work anywhere in any case, because it is a Cloud based Computing service?

    Well, for completeness, the Australian price you are quoting can be including taxes (GST 10%) while the U.S. price did not - he is quoted before taxes of generally from 7 to 8%...

    If you compare apples to apples then it is closer - but still not the same thing and Adobe has offered an explanation of this in the past.

  • Why have I not two record creative Cloud suddenly with different data in each folder (a folder called Creative Cloud Files (unknown))

    This morning, I've connected and started working as usual. When I went to save on I noticed a new folder in the Bridge, called "Creative Cloud Files (unknown) without data in it. Weird, but what ever. So I recorded my file and dinked around a structure of files and cleaned a little. I have noticed that my sharing icon disappeared from records and questioned on this subject, but kept the job because I'm on a deadline.

    So now it is wobbly data to the new file folder that does not match the original file of CC. I don't know where are my latest files and some files are all simple missing. I'm increased and confused about what is happening. Can someone shed some light on this?

  • Why are there not more tutorials or information on mobile applications

    Today, I tried a bit of the creation of mobile applications and photoshop express and ran into issues but found no support. am I missing something? is there a guide somewhere? more tutorials? I have not found a single tutorial for photoshop express. I just wanted to add that text to a picture should be pretty easy, I am a very good user of the psp but could not understand it at all. frustrating and tedious. also with first clip I tried to cut an of my clips but could not accurate at all so I wanted to zoom in or on the side or do soemthing but it doesn't seem to be a way to do it properly. If disappointing. What is the problem? are these real-world applications? Why is there no supported no documentation and apparently no discussion online thereon

  • Why are they not CC2015 apps in the Applications folder?

    I upgraded to CC2015, but the applications are no longer in my Applications (Mac OS X) folder. Usually, I have them available through my Dock but that can not do more. All CS6 apps are there, however. Why do I still need? And, I have to be able to run the CC2015 even if it is not online. Confused!

    Found them. There are TWO records of applications for a reason, one with my CC App, Reader, and all of the apps CS6 loose on my hard drive, another who lives in my user folder... Where my confusion. I open the app and click with the right button on the icon in the Dock and clicked on 'show in Finder '. Primary school for some, but new to me. That's where Adobe installed them... even if others were installed elsewhere. I've thought about changing my preferences so they all go in the same folder, but I don't want to take any chances, so I'll leave them here.

    Tried to repair / reinstall Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package (x 64) 2012?

    If not, try following the steps below:

    Leave the creative Cloud desktop application.

    Go to Control Panel > program and features.

    Under the list of programs, look for " 2012 Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable package (x 64)" and uninstall the same.

    When you are prompted to " reboot" the computer.

    Then uninstall " package redistributable Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 (x 64).

    Once you had uninstalled package redistributable Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 (x 64). Click on the link below and "vcredist_x64.exe" download and install the same.

  • If you have a valid Windows Vista license, why are there not support which includes downloads of the files we can need to overwrite your file should are corrupted due to a virus or malware?

    I am an unlucky recipient of a laptop with Windows Vista. It came preloaded with Vista... no backup disks or manuals, etc. The restore feature was not turned on, so a restore point has not been set. My WMP will not play wmv or any wmp files. I also have problems with my automatic updates in Windows. I have 10 updates that were not successful, but there are probably pages of the attempts of many times where the updates failed. My Trend Micro Titanium Internet tells me I have a problem in my directory root, which is probably due to an update of Windows that was supposed to protect me from a weakness in Vista, but again once with my updates failed to download successfully, its possible the fix I need is still sitting there... I think it's a shame that MicroSoft is allowed to 'SELL' a product without disk... just a license # and NO manuals. AND not a lot of support for your money... or the other. I spent hours and hours trying to fix myself... using all the resources I can find... look like a dummy, I'm sure, but if I had the software I probably would have deleted from my hard drive and more. It would certainly have saved me MONTHS of frustration. Trend Micro and real human support downloaded the plus version of their software for me and recent, plus a few extras to eradicate certain other pests. To get a human being to help you at MicroSoft? It will be $60, please... Sorry, if I look a little tired, but you guys are supposed to be the best and I feel fuzzy. I have been in sales for a long time. long time AND sold the BEST AMERICAN made cars... CADILLACS, but you know if I take care of my clients after the sale... they would have felt like I do, today... disappointed. If every time they came into the dealership I have loaded the $$ to take care of them, they don't come back to me when the NEW models came out... I made sure they got their cars back washed... and they sent their friends to buy from me. And ILS never thought to buy from anyone else, actually when I left the company, I had a nice little legacy of clients in order to let my protégé.

    Notepad is a simple text editor. WordPad is a basic, no frills, the word processing program. Why no spellcheck? Because they are freebie programs.

    This will check the spelling in WordPad and other places.

  • Why are there Notes so far behind any other app/similar program?

    It's absolutely crazy that I have to spend hours and hours of writing/typing dates and then copy and paste all my notes in another program/App. It would be nice if I could click on 'Download' like almost everything else in the iCloud, or even simply export them using iTunes would do the job. But, none. Nothing of the sort. If you type notes in your iPhone/iPad Notes app; then on this device, or iCloud, are the ONLY places you can check out these notes. Horrible. Absolutely horrible. I used the Notes app every day for almost a year, and now I'll never use again. Starting to consider buying a different camera for this reason alone. Notes are a big part of my life, and I'd love for them to be easily copied, transferred, downloaded or exported. Without this simple feature this app will remain years behind any other application available for iOS, or any other device also note.

    What operating system do you use? Vista or XP? Try to install Hotkeycontrol 7.0

    If you use XP for CQ40, the setting of the brightness (Fn + F7 or F8) dysfunction.

    For Vista, HP has HP QuickTouch software for OSD volume level, but not for the brightness
