  I'm not sure from your post what version of Vista you are using or if you use the Viewer for Powerpoint as opposed to full Powerpoint (2003 or 2007?), but I can try to give you help to fix.

  For. Files (Microsoft's PowerPoint slideshow) PPS

  Click Start, type regedit.exe and press ENTER
  Navigate to the following branch:
  HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\PowerPointViewer.slideshow.11\shell\Show

  Click view, and then click Rename
  Type the Word Open before the Show is replaced by the command open
  If you have PowerPoint Viewer 2007 is installed, repeat the steps above in this key, thus:
  HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\PowerPointViewer.slideshow.12\shell\Show

  After the change of show to open, close the Registry Editor window.
  For. PPT (Microsoft PowerPoint's presentation) files

  Click Start, type regedit.exe and press ENTER

  1 > Open Photoshop

  2 > click on Edit > Preferences > Camera Raw

  3 > please uncheck CPU graph using.

  

  4 > then click on OK.

  5 > restart Photoshop and check

  For Lightroom: -.

  Please go to preference > Performance > uncheck "use graphics processor.

  Open Acrobat Reader DC, navigate to the Edit-> Preferences-> General-> uncheck "Open Documents in the new tab in the same window.

  Now, reboot your system, when you open multiple PDFs that all will open in a new window so that you can easily compare.
